I tried out this app and I think its a great app for makeup beginners who are still trying to figure out how to perfectly enhance their features based on their face shape. Although, I don’t see any nose contour guidelines which could be a major point of improvement.

As someone with little to no understanding of the basics of makeup, I really enjoyed this as an introduction to the basics of highlight, contour, and blush. I was able to see what they would look like like in the virtual makeup tab, but also how they are to be applied with directions on my face in the pro demo. I LOVED this feature, being able to see the exact placement and direction of makeup application on my face was a treat and it was really educational. Helps get over the bump of “where do I even begin” when starting a face of makeup (plus the science of the face mapping is just so cool!)

I use Facetopo to demonstrate to my clients how to contour and highlight during our private lesson services!

The try on features are wonderful that helps to see different make up looks virtually. It is a great tool for someone who wants to experiment with different looks without committing to buy products. Facetopo offers a broad variety of make up looks which makes it easy to find the perfect product for your skin tone and type. It allows you to move out of your comfort zone while trying out different and creative make up looks and finding the best fit of make up combination for your face!

Facetopo is so fun!! For someone who doesn’t have a lot of makeup experience it provides the perfect space to experiment and build skills. I have gotten so much better at applying contour that actually helps define and shape my face.

Obsessed with this this app app! It uses my selfie to figure out my face shape and then recommends makeup tutorials, which is amazing because I never know where to even start. Plus, I can virtually try on different looks with AR before I actually grab my makeup bag. Now I can finally experiment with different looks without feeling like a clown. The tutorials are super clear and easy to follow. Definitely recommend checking it out!

this app is the perfect app for people who are completely new to makeup. I am a licensed cosmetologist and I absolutely fell in love with Facetopo . Although I have experience with makeup, it’s interesting the try the different ways of applying my makeup based on my face shape. The directions clearly explain and outline how to apply makeup based on your face shape. This is the best tool for people who are curious about makeup and want to cater their routine specifically to compliment their features.

There's awesome features and I like Facetopo much better than the makeup tutorial filters on other apps. Once it maps your face, it puts filters over your face to show the areas for contour, blush, and highlight. The guidelines turn with you so you can move your head around while you do your makeup. This is such a great app to see where to apply makeup custom to your face and you can adjust everything.

I didn’t grow up with a mom who wore much makeup and I don’t have a sister, which leaves me feeling like I missed some essentially makeup instruction. I love using Facetopo for (1) playing with makeup I already own; and (2) getting ready for a night out. It boosts my confidence that I’m not putting my makeup on “wrong”. Because it’s based on my own face, it takes the guesswork out of the process. This is simply a great tool for anyone learning to improving their own makeup application.
