Second time out, only two words to find. Got first word, there was only one word that the remaining letters spelled. Tried every which way to get it to work, even used the three hints I had left and that did work either!!!! Finally had to watch a video to get the last hint and, guess what?????? The word was what I had tried first time out. Had to use four hints to get a word that I knew in the first place!! Something's wrong with WordWhizzleThemes. Am not a happy camper at this point!

Update - turned the sound off and it still plays interfering with the music I have playing on my iPad while playing this game! Can't determine if these are game issues or player issues!! Bottom line: I'm STILL not a happy camper!

To start, this is a really great game at its core. The responsiveness is great, the difficulty ramps up at a nice pace, and everything seems great. That is, however, until you throw ads in the mix.

I understand ads are how you make a lot of your revenue, and I was willing to deal with the occasional ad or two in every ~10 levels; however, since I reached level 175 or so, there is an ad after every single level. This is not an exaggeration - it is after every single level. I can't stand the level of frustration that causes and turns a nice, relaxing game that I actually want to play into a ridiculous game of waiting for ads to end. I'm really, really tired of it and hope you pull back on those ads soon.

I want to give you a better score, and gladly would, but the ads are severely hindering my enjoyment. Please fix this.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to write both words (surgeon and nurse) in this puzzle. I really think it is impossible. If anyone else has figured it out, I'd love to know how. I suppose I can't go any further until I do figure it out. HELP! Another thing that really upsets me is having typed this whole review only to lose it all b/c my nickname was already taken. This has happened twice! Why don't you tell me as soon as I enter the nickname that it is already taken, instead of making me lose my whole review and having to re-type it. Maybe you just do that b/c you don't like my review??
The rest of the story...I figured out my problem and was able to work the puzzle after all. The thing that bothers me now is not getting a free hint when I solve the daily puzzle.

I enjoyed playing this game so much, that I paid to have the ads removed. With the latest update, you are seemingly forced to have to look at and dismiss the ads for the developers other games. It's fine if they want to show off their new games, just put a notice on the home screen. Instead, you can't escape the ads, even in the level select screen. I've now deleted WordWhizzleThemes because of how much I have to interact with them.

I enjoy playing this game and had acquired 6 hints and it put up an ad for word bubbles so I thought sure why not. So I got it opened it up a I had 6 hints - so okay I thought they gave those to you for downloading. Nope they take your hints from one and put them on the other. Really cheesy guys - you should tell people that you are going to do that, oh but wait, is that what you do to get people to buy hints?? Cheesy!! If you like this game and want to actually leave it for the next just be aware if you come back all your hints stay with the new app.
UPDATE: At level 112 I was given an unsolvable puzzle - even buying hints which I refuse to do, there was NO solution. So I guess that's it for me. It was fun while it lasted.

My rating is based on a 5-point scale where 5 = very good, 4 = good, 3 = fair, 2 = poor, and 1 = very poor.

The game started out at a 5. I wish I could give the developers the benefit of the doubt, but I can't.

1) Although the words are easy enough that I rarely needed to use a hint, some of them are either spelled incorrectly or used in the wrong category. E.g., "it carries water" are pipe, river, and "pale" — where the correct word is pail. Any 8 year old can tell you that.

In today’s daily puzzle, the word “borough” is used incorrectly. The clue is “animals live here” and the correct word is “burrow”.

2) it's very complicated to report any issues. Why isn’t there a “contact the developer” from WordWhizzleThemes itself?

3) the categories/words don't have differing levels of difficulty. Most of them are so easy that I've never had to use a hint. In fact, I just collect a free hint whenever I think of it, and they just accumulate. The game is rarely challenging anymore.

This was a great game, until about level 1014 when they started using words I didn't know how to spell, pronounce, or even have a hint to its meaning. I had spent the money to buy hints just to get rid of the ads. That was well worth it. Didn't need hardly any hints until high into the 900s. Then insane words. Finally resorted to looking up the answers online...which takes all the fun out of it. But there was no way I would have gotten words without using a hint for every letter. Too bad. It was a good game. Time to find another game!

I play the daily puzzle on this only because I ran out of levels! Sometimes there will be a misspelled word, which is very frustrating. Today’s puzzle was a good example: “They cut.” The answers were “scissors” and, I think it was supposed to be, “corners.” But the answer was spelled, “cencors.” That’s not even a word!! This has happened a few times. They need better proofreaders/editors! Another example: today’s puzzle was things that hold water, and one answer was pale. Wrong word!! A PAIL holds water, not pale! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Great app! One of my long-time favorites. Only thing is I wish you got a hint for completing the daily puzzle, or like, if you complete 5, you get a hunt, but at least an alternate way to get hints based on the daily puzzle instead of paying or watching ads. Other than that I'd 100% recommend this to any puzzle lover looking for a new (and awesome) brain challenge 😄

I have been playing WordWhizzleThemes for years. I especially like the addition of the events. My only suggestion as an improvement is a back up button. If you make a mistake you have to start all over. It would be nice to be able to erase only the last word or the last few words.

I like this game. Except for the fact that I watch the ad for a free hint and it continues to tell me I have to watch the whole ad before I can get the free hint...duh I did watch the whole ad and I still don’t get the free hint. Other then that annoying issue the game is good. I refuse to pay for hints so y’all should fix the issue with the free hints by watching the ad

I'd say WordWhizzleThemes is a good app but it needs a little help. I think that with a little bit less of the ads would be a big improvement because it's better to be playing then watching ads of apps you don't have a chance at getting! But overall there's really not much that they need to change, I think this is a great app but with a little more help I could be terrific!

This game has had some easy puzzles as well as more challenging levels, so I would say it is a good mix. I am nearly done with the whole thing and still have 27 hints without ever having bought any, so it is possible to play all the way through for free. I also haven't experienced any glitches like some other reviewers have mentioned, so perhaps it is their hardware that is faulty. Anyhow, I'm withholding a star only because the upper levels place words in exactly the same position from puzzle to puzzle so once you learn the pattern there isn't any challenge left. Also, there are misspellings which can stump you (sites vs. sights, for instance) needlessly.

It is a really fun I'm always stumped someway and I can't play for 3 hours because I don't have any more hints a solution is to give more hints with ads or you can have an option to go to like Instagram or Facebook or Twitter or even snapchat to have some help. That's all I have to say thank you and I have enjoyed this game I found on an ad of another game I was playing so if your thinking your ads don't work well they do

Love this game!!! When only having 3 or 4 words to get, the font size is readable, but when 7 or 8 words appear on a game, the font size is very tiny. Is there any way you can rectify that problem? It seems there is plenty of room at the bottom of the screen where the letters go to enlarge the size. When using my hints And can’t read the letter, I would take a screenshot of it. Then I’m able to enlarge the photo to see the letter. Shouldn’t have to do that though.

Wonderful game! Love the graphics too. However there is a ridiculous amount of ads! Gets you hooked but higher up there is an ad after every level/puzzle. Too much!
Update: spend the $2.99 for the hint pack that obliterates the ads. It will be the best $$ spent. I only wish they would give a free hint for solving the daily puzzles. Overall this is a great game and well worth downloading!

I have made it all the way to level 789 and simply can't put it down!!! I don't mind the ads even when it's for kid games and last 30 seconds! (This is only game I can say that about). I love it so much that I've even paid for hints rather than waiting the half hour to get my next free hint. And the best part is that it is extremely challenging. Great job Dev's!!! Five stars from me!!!!!

There's is ads but it is fun and challenging that's what I like it's also really addicting so in my opinion I think you should get WordWhizzleThemes it starts to get a lot of fun when it gets more hard so once again I think you should get this apps also for those other people this game cannot be perfect and nothing can be perfect so yeah so once again I really think you should get WordWhizzleThemes especially if you get bored a lot so I think you should get WordWhizzleThemes

I love the challenge of this game as well as the fact that you must think outside the box when you play. In addition, I just upgraded to a new iPad and was having difficulty transferring the game and hints to my new iPad. The company was most helpful and I'm back in the game again. Many thanks. Wordbubbles is every bit as fun.

i really like everything about this game except that i am not a paying player, so i have to see a 30 second ad every 2-3 rounds... Also, this game starts off kind of slow in the beginning... Aside from those 2 things- i love this game, (mainly since idk of any other word finding game apps that have clear cut categories like this one:) i really like the sound effects, -they're really fun!!! i also like being able to connect letters vertically, horizontally, and diagonally, as well!!! Keep up the great work & pretty please consider a way to make the ads seem a little more spaced apart... like, maybe players can watch three 15-20 second ads at a time, every 7 rounds - instead of two 30 second ads every 2 {3 if we're extra lucky} rounds... idk, i believe y'all can pull off SOMETHING as opposed to making us non paying players either "pay up" or spend more time watching ads than actually playing time!!!
