Data Inaccurate when app not displayed

It appears that the app must be displayed on the celular all the time in order to give believable data. 247 miles driven by car in 20:42 minutes is definitely impossible to accomplish. Also the distance driven was more like 170 miles.

Very nice app except one thing. The odometer always measures in KM whether it's in KMH or MPH mode.
