Blur Video & Photo BlurEffect Reviews

Why make a free app when the free version makes your video come out worse than before, I wanted this because I needed to blur out a few things in a video. The blur only last 30 seconds with the free version and lowers the resolution of the video. I really expected more and BlurVideoPhotoBlurEffect is also really buggy and crashes a lot.
It does it’s job well but does not satisfy me (not that 1 review matters). It also adds its own watermark on a blur app and that kind of defeats the purpose of “blurring out watermarks” if you add your own. Good app but I’m going to look for a better app than this.

I purchased the full version, and the UI is ridiculously bad. i will say the output video is good, but it’s a bit slow to create, even on a new iPhone 13 Pro. would be nice if the developer would add the ability to interface with the share sheets, so BlurVideoPhotoBlurEffect is an option when sharing from other apps. my biggest peeve is after saving, it has no indicator that it was saved. The screen never changes. they clearly never read apple’s Human interface guidelines. surprised it got through app store approval.

When I first purchased the full version it was great on photos and good for videos. Now it keeps crashing and imported video shows as black screen and won’t work.
when it does work it sometimes saves video and replays it very choppy. Very disappointing!

I do like BlurVideoPhotoBlurEffect and wish the developers would listen to the complaints and fix. It’s a great app when it works.

I wish also when moving the blur,... you could be able to pause the video,... then move the blur to follow the object in motion instead of trying to quickly follow it once you press the red manual move button.

Just purchased the full version and it is not great.
1. Video quality after the blur is greatly decreased. The areas that are not blurred suddenly have really poor resolution
2. Timing controls are Bey poorly designed and hard to use
3. After saving the video there is no good way to get back to Home Screen without going back through all the steps
Waste of money

I am using just the free version, I do not use it much so not sure I will need the purchased version but I am curious about it because the free version is so awesome, I can only image what the paid version does!

Sometimes in documents and photos, I want items to be kept private. With just a swipe and voila! It’s done.

The first video I made which took me 20 minutes BlurVideoPhotoBlurEffect just glitched out and closed and deleted all of my progress, then when I finally got it to work I saved it and it turned to a complete crap quality- I took this on a high definition camera but now looks like I took it on a flip phone from 2008 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

The video blurring functionality of BlurVideoPhotoBlurEffect does not work. When attempting to process video, BlurVideoPhotoBlurEffect will crash and the user will be returned to the home screen. Do NOT pay for the upgrade to BlurVideoPhotoBlurEffect if you need it to blur video, because it will not work. I would love to get my money back, but I doubt I will. I’ll be reporting the issue to Apple.

BlurVideoPhotoBlurEffect used to work GREAT but for the past few months it has been randomly crashing whenever I try to blur videos. I’ve uninstalled BlurVideoPhotoBlurEffect and reinstalled it but the problem still occurs. I hope they get it fixed soon.

The free version will:
•Slap a huge watermark on the bottom right of your video.
•Bring your video down to 480p.
Really, 480p? You’ve basically blurred everything in the video. I was honestly sorta fine with the watermark, but then I realized I needed to pay $4 to get my video in 1080p.

There’s also a video length maximum as well, but I personally will not comment on that since I didn’t hit the max. The blur was pretty simple to use, so I’m refraining from giving 1 star, but good lord the free version is not usable at all.

Love BlurVideoPhotoBlurEffect easy to use I have foster kids and can’t post their faces on social media and this was perfect to edit photos to post

Many of my phone pictures look beautiful when I blur the background. It’s easy & they look amazing!

Especially when drawing the blurred area, it’s almost impossible to draw a shape that you desire. Extremely buggy as well. Can’t believe I paid for this. Not worth it

This is easy app to blur photos. You can pay extra to blur videos.

Like BlurVideoPhotoBlurEffect just wish we could have a longer version of blur video

App doesn’t work at all! Keeps crashing. Doesn’t let me blur anything. Just purchased the premium. Tried to go to apple support. All the text is in Japanese or Korean. Don’t waste your money and time. Frustrating to say the least!! Zero stars if that was possible but it won’t let me put anything lower then a 1.

Works well. Watching ads in order to save photos is a reasonable compensation for being free...

Complicated to use. Instructions are not helpful

Great app, easy to use, fun, different styles of blurring and can decide how much blur to add to a photo.
