• Surprisingly, hours before I actually received the device via the mail, I received an email from the manufacture saying that if I had any problem with device I should follow the list of fixes that were provided in the email.
• The customer service team is quick to respond.
• The read and write speeds are pretty quick.
• You are able to take pictures and video directly to the the flash drive by opening the software and selecting take video or photo.
• You can also put movies to your flash drive then watch them on your phone.
• You actually have to have your passcode lock on.

I needed to get a new phone so I got the flash drive to get all the photos and videos off my phone. First off, most of the time there would be a message saying error and that the photos couldn’t be transferred. It took me forever to finally get everything I wanted transferred. Second, after I got my new phone, I wanted to put some photos/ videos back into my camera roll. I opened up LUVShare and checked the external storage and HALF OF MY PHOTOS AND VIDEOS WERE NO WHERE TO BE SEEN! I’m going to try connecting the flash drive to my computer and see if anything changes but I might have just lost hundreds of photos and videos of some of the best times in my life 😢 LUVShare is awful

I bought this to free up, mainly photos, from my iPhone so i could stop paying monthly fee to keep them in’ the cloud’ all this does is transfers photos to app, but once you delete photos from photo app in cloud, they also get deleted from LUVShare so…i still need to keep my photos in the cloud. Actually it’s stupid! I thought i could keep all my photos in LUVShare, delete photos in my photo app in the cloud, thus allowing me to not need to pay monthly cloud fee, but as soon as you delete in photo app, they’re also deleted from LUVShare. Not good. Would NOT recommend!! Waste of money! Guess your only get what you post for eventho it wasn’t cheap considering it doesn’t work right. Thought the photos would be kept inside the product like a thumb drive but it just transfers photos from photo app to LUVShare

LUV-Share app has its own way of naming pictures when you move them to the device. Whereas your camera keeps all the pics in chronological dated order by file name, you lose that when you try to move the files to the device by LUVShare . What you get is a bunch of pictures and movies in a random order with ridiculously long file names that make no sense…CERTAINLY NOT IN THE ORDER THEY WERE TAKEN. This is a problem when moving many files at once. When you move them from the usb stick to another device, you can’t make heads or tails out of the renaming system that LUV-Share forces on you.

This software simply doesn’t work. Giving even one star as a rating makes me wonder if Apple will also give me a refund on the star.
Ideally you could move your photos, music, and other files from — say your iPhone to the device and free up space on your phone and even access music stored on the device. You can, in this context, see this as a storage expansion device.
The device has a lightning connector on one end and a USB connector on the other end.
I was curious as to the company in general so I looked at the other software this company sells. There was a common denominator; every one of the company’s products got horrible reviews.
So either this company can’t build software — which includes creating useful documentation and straightforward user friendly intuitive design, or it doesn’t.
From what I and other who rate or comment see it certainly appears this company can’t do the job so I would look elsewhere.

I wanted to use LUVShare and stick to transfer photos from my phone to my PC. I loaded my photos onto the stick. I moved them from the general external storage to different folders. I used the move command and it deleted the photos from the general folder. When I open the folder they were moved to, it is empty. They are still not there when I check on my PC. My photos are deleted. There were many other bugs in LUVShare but the fact that I lost all of my photos is the only reason needed to not use LUVShare or the flash drive. Do not use LUVShare!

This awful software is killing this company’s hardware. They say it works with Apple products, but on iPhone and iPad all you can transfer is photos, NO FILE TRANSFER. If you are on a USB c enabled iPad and open Internal Storage on LUVShare , you will see nothing but blank white space where your files should be (the same happens on iPhone with the lightening connector—LUVShare cannot find internal storage files). You can use LUVShare to create a folder in Internal Storage, but iPad itself cannot see it (so what is the point?!). This could be fixed by the LUV-share app creating its own folder resident on the iPad like other apps do (see Firefox). Then at the very least you could copy internal files to the LUV-share folder created by LUVShare and in turn, LUVShare could see your files and you could then transfer them to External Storage. Not sure why they are content to let their software kill their hardware when such an easy fix is available.

LUVShare only lets me download photos, I have 2,899 photos and 749 videos, I was only able to download 97 photos 97 out of 2,899. Everytime I try to redownload them, I get the same error. Error 1005 and I can never finish loading the rest of them. Everytime I try to download my videos, it says download complete and when I check my folders on my external or internal none of my videos appear. Absolutely NONE. My photos all download out of order so I can’t tell which ones I can start to download without having to redo the same ones. It doesn’t tell me how many I have downloaded, it just tells me the same errors. It doesn’t download my contacts either. LUVShare is a failure and the usb that comes with LUVShare is a waste of my time and money.

The reviews of this item are so all over the board, the best you can say is it’s inconsistent. 1. After downloading LUVShare and plugging in the device, I get a reading that says how much capacity is left in the device (112GB of a brand new 128GB device), so I know it’s connected, but none of the pages show up when I click on the external device icon, so it’s not accessing any files, etc. Reading the instructions, this looks like a powerful and flexible tool, if it only worked. ☹️
2. I ordered and paid for the 250GB device. The outside of the box I received says it’s a 250MG, but it’s a 128GB.
3. The enclosed instructions don’t include contact information for product or tech support.

I bought this new USB in order to have a separate place to keep my childhood pictures. I organized everything very well with folders with names and dates. After downloading my photos and videos, I wanted to view my folders just to check everything I wanted to download downloaded, but two of my folders said “=/ photos”. This is really annoying and I don’t know how to get rid of it. Even if I try deleting the folder, it just doesn’t work. Please fix the bugs!!!

I was very excited when I got this because I was under the impression that you could transfer files from the flash drive to the Files app. You can't!!!! You can transfer photos from your iPhone to the flash drive, but if I needed space, I would just put my photos on my PC. Though you do have the option to transfer non-photo files to your iPhone, you cannot interact with them after doing so. Yes, those files will be on your phone, taking up space, but you can't actually do anything with them... so what's the point????

used to be SO good, started trying to upload more photos and videos after not using it for years and the upload no longer works!! 😡😤
any files that look like they’ve been uploaded, if you reopen the flash drive the files have disappeared!
it’s such a waste because i have PLENTY of space on the flash drive but for now reason it won’t let me upload anything! (it’ll say it did copy the files but then the files are either no where to be found or disappear at some point…) 😭

I have had a lot of issues copying photos and videos to folder I created on the drive error says there’s path/ issues?!?
LUVShare and the hardware has had a lot of customers complaining about errors and giving this company bad ratings, I’ve been hoping I could find a post where the creator responded and speak to the issues of transfer errors but have failed to find one. Please advise if there are new solutions that you have explored.

I don’t seem to have a problem transferring photos or movie from my stick to my iPad. The problem I keep getting is with transferring books. I copy the book then it asks me if I want to save it to “books”. I answer yes and 9 times out of 10 it fails to transfer the book. Then all of the sudden it works on another day. Then it fails for the next week. It’s really buggy in this sense. Not sure if there is a fix or something but I’d love to find a solution.

The photos and videos get uploaded pretty well, some awkwardly, but you’re unable to even see the previews of the videos, live photos are not captured as such, the sort only works for a moment, the videos immediately close back to the list as they are finished, and they also ask if you would like to continue where you left off but play the video from the start anyway while that shows making it just frustrating especially with shorter videos. It’s a great idea and such but i think it could be better and not all that hard to get there

Been using LUVShare for a while now for my flash drive and I think LUVShare is messing up because on some of my pictures and videos that I have on that flash drive,LUVShare is not letting me view them it’s acting like they are corrupted now and acting like they don’t exist, whenever I try to view a video or picture it just goes to a black screen and then immediately knocks me out of it.
They were indeed working before but now they are not and I am kind of freaking out because the videos and pictures I have on there is from my grandma and other family members that have passed away and I don’t want to lose these memories of them. Please help me..... 😢😢🙏🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Would be great if the camera was updated to shoot at 1080p, in landscape, and one continuous file instead of breaking it up.
I got this to go with the external drive I bought for extra iPhone storage. Specifically I wanted something to record longer videos directly to that wouldn’t fit on the phone. It works but with limited functionality. Doesn’t even flip to landscape mode for video. Would like to see more camera options. Haven’t tried much else beside copying my contacts over. Look like simple file management which would work well for saving and transferring files

The price and features of the usb stick is excellent but the software is limited to backing up and restore contacts, backup photos and ‘power bank’ (not sure what that is!).
If you have put documents or videos on the memory stick from a PC or type C mobile phone etc you can then transfer them to the iPad/ iPhone etc (they are kept within LUVShare ) you can also watch the videos or read the documents without the memory stick being in the iPad/iPhone, ideal when traveling and not able to connect to a server/ Wi-fi.
Area for improvement is the ability to ‘cast’ the videos to a chromecast or other device, without this feature the software is very limiting.
Pleased with my purchase but the software developer could do better..... Developer, could the casting feature be added please?

Forgot my password for LUVShare and now I can’t do anything. I understand needing it to retrieve and upload photos and such, but there seems to be no option/way to reset it which is disappointing. I can’t get to anything I previously saved on the flash drive and I can’t add anything new. I didn’t want to but looks like I’m going to have to buy another flash drive, I know it’s my fault for forgetting my password but seems there should be a way to reset it, definitely won’t be putting one on the new one.

I use LUVShare and thumb drive to transfer photos and video off my phone to free up storage. However, I’m a huge stickler for organization. This software renames your photos to these long winded names made up of letters and numbers. That itself isn’t the issue it’s the fact that it randomizes the order of your photos so they aren’t in order of creation. If I have say photos from Christmas and then photos from Valentine’s Day, when I transfer them to the thumb drive, the software changes the names thus randomizing the order. So I have Christmas and Valentines shuffled together instead of the Christmas photos being in order first followed by Valentines. For some reason it doesn’t do this with video though. It keeps the video names intact so they stay in order of creation date. This is an easy fix and not sure why they haven’t done this.

The transferring speed is not fast enough. If there was an option that allows us to continue transferring files from where we left off last time that would be great as we did not have to copy the same photo or video over and over again. Also, if there was an option for deleting the original files from the device after copying LUVShare would worth a five star rating. Please fix and improve LUVShare.

I enjoy this LUV-SHARE app but it also frustrates me a lot. I appreciate very much the big things it does. How it does some critical functions is another thing. At the moment, my time permits me to cite only two (but very representative) examples: 1) the process of identifying camera roll photos to move to the flash drive needs to permit easier selection of a range of photos—like you can do within camera roll and almost all current photo apps; and, 2) after processing the selected photos, LUVShare should give us the option of automatically deleting those photos—also like you can do within camera roll and almost all current photo apps. Giving us just those two improvements would make this a five star app in my opinion. Thanks.

I got the Luv-Share 128 GB USB drive with the lightning adapter as a gift in 2020. It has been great to upload all of my hiking photos and videos that I don’t want to stay on my phone. Up until today it has started to get really buggy. When I try to upload photos and videos into a folder it will give me an error stating “open file =/….” And then won’t upload the images. Or sometimes it won’t give the error and subsequently the images won’t show up in the folder after “successfully copying the image. Another bug is that it’ll upload and you can see the file name in the folder and then you go to click on it to view it and it just shows up as a black screen. I’m hoping this is just bugs with LUVShare and that somehow my USB drive isn’t corrupted considering I haven’t done anything differently when uploading photos and videos in the past year and a half. Please fix these problems!

You actually have to have your passcode lock on. Always. To save the pics to the files on the drive, not sure why but once I kept my passcode on they all saved and kept on the file never removed them. Your phone keeps blocking it as an “accessory” unless you allow accessories with a passcode. 🙌🏼 try it hope it helps! I was confused too

Great app but i am not able to see my “files folder “ when i select internal storage. Im waiting on an update to fix it. The customer service team is quick to respond though and the read and write speeds are pretty quick. I like that you are able to take pictures and video directly to the the flash drive by opening the software and selecting take video or photo. You can also put movies to your flash drive then watch them on your phone.

I believe a lot or most of these bad reviews are from hun error. It happens to me. Wasn’t reading the external device. Thought I had it plugged in all the way against my phone case... and it didn’t read it. Took my phone case off and tried it and it worked perfectly. Has to be plugged in all the way. If it bottoms out on your phone skin or case it won’t work. It’s a really cool device.

This is my favorite app. I have been using it for years. You can even change fill extensions to convert files hassle free. To transfer files to and from the files app, I always zip the files first. The files also have to be zipped in the Files app before transferring to the Luv Share app. What I love most about LUVShare is, others don’t have access to it while I am on the Internet. The Apple Photo App is extremely vulnerable while browsing the Internet. Someone infected one of my screenshots in the Photo album and is reporting that I have 2.8GB in the Photo album although it is empty. Everything was transferred to LUVShare by allowing limited access but the malware was not transferred from the photo app. The malware knows that Luv Share exposes invisible files. 😂😏
Another thing I like about LUVShare, is that I can play Music in the background. It also has Repeat and Loop which means I can listen to one song or loop all songs while I work in other apps. ❤️😁

With all the negative reviews, I was somewhat hesitant to even download LUVShare . However, I went ahead and took a chance and downloaded LUVShare , plugged in the device to my iPhone 6, downloaded some photos as a test, then dumped them on my laptop with absolutely no trouble whatsoever.
Surprisingly, hours before I actually received the device via the mail, I received an email from the manufacture saying that if I had any problem with device I should follow the list of fixes that were provided in the email. Fortunately, I didn’t need to do any of them. Again, from my standpoint I highly recommend this device.

Often there’s quite a gap between a piece of hardware and the software that supports it. LUVShare does everything I need - backs up my contacts and provides a MUCH-easier method for moving files between my iPhone and my Windows 10 desktop. I especially like the built-in ability to encrypt individual files and folders with a password, and to set a passcode and/TouchID to use LUVShare .

I don’t understand why there are so many 1 star reviews. LUVShare is perfect for storing your pictures and videos onto a flash drive. It will save you so much space on your phone and you can still access all your photos through LUVShare and through the flash drive. Definitely 5 stars cause it works perfectly for me!
by Tech.support
This flash drive is only for pictures, music and video. It is not for other files like pdf or word documents. Also when you transfer files from your phone to the drive you can connect it to a pc or Mac and transfer them there or place them in a bigger external drive. People forget they must delete the pictures in the Luv app so they can import more pictures into their drive. The application has no bugs, it is the user who doesn’t know how to use it.

I was able to download all of my pictures and videos from my iPhone onto my computer with no problem using the iPhone flash-drive USB connector. I was able to copy 450 photos/videos at time. It doesn’t allow you to copy a lot at once....still did the job though
by Nasty Dump Trump
I was able to transfer all my pictures from my phone so easily to the computer. Would definitely recommend. I usually don’t write reviews but seeing the ratings I decided to give my opinion. I think they have updated their system.
I had success with the Luv Share app & its specific flash-drive once before; then, when I obtained a second flash drive it stopped functioning; however, I discovered what my problem was and I have corrected the ERROR~External Storage not found! How? After much research I came upon a video that mentioned formatting the flash drive before using it. I put the flash drive into my computer & right clicked on format and in seconds that was done. (Previously, I had items on the flash drive but Windows could not view them so it did not matter if format deleted all of it. Also, I had deleted that garbage before I learned to format the flash drive). Once I formatted the flash drive, I tried using the Luv Share app and I clicked onto External drive and it functioned. I am now transferring photos/videos to the flash drive & I am well pleased! I hope this helps.
