Everything with it is smooth

Using for a couple of weeks the free version - an ad is displayed every other minute but not as annoying as other reviews say it is… I never got the ads so frequent… perhaps updating NOAABuoysLiveMarineWeather would do the trick... I guess.

Turned to crap over the winter.

Last summer, I was able to see all of the weather buoys on the great lakes. Finding the relevant ones was a bit of a bother, but once selected ad favorites, it was great. Now, the GLERL buoys are a premium purchase and NOAABuoysLiveMarineWeather seems to select the buoys that I have checked recently as my favorites (I may check buoys in Florida to see what a hurricane is doing, but most of the time I really don’t care about it).

All in all, NOAABuoysLiveMarineWeather is now pretty useless and it’s going away.

I have been using NOOA Buoys on and off since 2017… got to say that the much needed recent update came with the real time buoy cam feature which is by far the best thing NOAABuoysLiveMarineWeather has done! I hope you get the picture.

Updated Buoy than Any Other

I'm glad to have access to NOAABuoysLiveMarineWeather that gets direct data from NOAA. The buoy's data is updated all the time, making NOAABuoysLiveMarineWeather better than any others I have tried.

Smith Island Buoys are Updated

All the buoys in Smith Island are updated. I can attest to that since I reside here. I usually check the site and wait for my favorable conditions. Now, I just check NOAABuoysLiveMarineWeather from my house and go when it's the best time.

Wow!

The "premium" subscription is amazing and allows with real-time cam to see the status of the sea which makes things so very easy for me to process and plan my sail timings. The info is just so Worth it.

You ought to get real time weather prediction in through NOAA Buoys… accurate data models, crisp interface… simple to use. Passes in all the essentials. Highly recommend from my end.

Nice app

Would be better if more data was presented. However I am not sure if it is the buoy that is at fault or NOAABuoysLiveMarineWeather . Refresh period should be every 10 minutes but frequently isn’t. Again not sure who is at fault.

Haven’t had NOAABuoysLiveMarineWeather long but seems to work ok..I’ve been looking for a definitions section (wave period etc.) but haven’t found it yet. You can always google for that type of info anyway.

Use NOAABuoysLiveMarineWeather with other forecasts and you can come up with a fairly good idea of what is going on out there as well as what is to come.

Needs to forecast better waves

I get tired of constantly seeing bad surf forecasts. Maybe if NOAABuoysLiveMarineWeather would show good swells and winds it would be like self fulfilling prophecy.

Update is terrible

There are so many adds, presented so frequently, that NOAABuoysLiveMarineWeather is practically unusable! The adds are so large that attempts to select other locations, one can’t help but click the add that pops on screen a millisecond before screen selection.

Could use more data. There are many times when bouy data is not available.

Frustrating

I got NOAABuoysLiveMarineWeather for mainly water temp and wind measurements. No water temps and sometimes can’t get anything because it’s a premium subscription location. Ad is in the way as soon as I zoom in. Very annoying.

Paid for the paid version of this and ads are still showing! What is the point! On the plus side it reports data from the boys

Live on Lake Michigan and most weather stations don’t work

Out of 10 near me only 1 works. They offer several around me but they all say “No data available”. Even the Coast Guard station it says no data available. I guarantee you those boys have accurate weather information
