I bought this app 2 weeks before the new iOS 13 update came out and I loved the flexibility and additional features which iOS reminders did not have. Unfortunately with iOS 13 the app is rendered pretty much useless. I contacted the developer and the answer was “performance issues” and it gets “a little better” with iOS 13.1. The interim solution was for me to not use all my reminders lists (not a solution). Well I can say now that even with 13.1 update it is still basically useless and there is no firm plan on when they are going to resolve the problem. I rarely spend $10 on an app and now I feel like I was ripped off. Don’t waste your money on this until they have fixed the issues with iOS 13.
UPDATE: At this point now 3 weeks later the app is still useless. My only option is to go back to Todoist which is a far superior app anyway, I just didn’t want to pay the $30 annual fee. I guess you get what you pay for. Wish the developer would give credit to those like me who unknowingly bought an app which was going to become worthless a few days later.

In the never ending search for the end all task manager I can add this one to a close but no cigar attempt. After using this for 3 months there are bugs that have persisted since day 1 and the UX for me has been tepid at best. I found the Quick Actions a little overwhelming at first. And while I love the idea behind the smart lists and color coded categories, the inconsistency of uncompleted tasks, refresh issues, and syncing between devices has forced me to move on continue my search. The price is also arguably high. For what the app offers I’d say $10 is a bit much, let alone the cost for iPad and MacOS versions as well.
In short I would definitely maximize the trial period and really dissect the app to make sure it fits your daily needs before you pull the trigger. The app has good intentions but is plagued with bugs and a clunky design.

I have spent a couple of days with this app and so far I mostly like it. I have used TD, Things, and multiple other tools trying to get the right flow and fit. I enjoy paper and pen (analog) as much as digital. I am constantly trying to improve upon both from a productivity and efficiency standpoint. The verdict is still out for GT but so far I like the complete freedom to create the flow that fits my needs. The one thing I am seeing is the UI is not as crisp as some of the other apps named above but GT offers so many options that it’s hard not to find something you don’t like. However, I really don’t like how ‘large’ the image of imprint shows up when using a URL to attach or paste in the notes section. Is there a fix or work around for this??
Thank you for taking the time to continue to create and improve this app. I hope it keeps getting better!
