Zen Planner Member App Reviews

The only complaint I have is the font color... the gray is so light that even with my phone brightness turned up all the way, it’s very hard to read. I have to take screenshots of the calendar and then zoom in so I can read it.
A darker shade of gray would make it much easier and still maintain your color palette.

The Northwest Badminton Academy is a great plays to play badminton casually or professionally. The reservation is extremely easy as you just have to click a button to reserve a court. The price is relatively cheap and there are numerous options/plans to fit your budget.
The one thing I would consider is to pick a less crowded time. Due to the vast number of customers some times all courts are completely booked.
Warning: If you decide to join the Northwest Badminton Academy, please remember to buy birdies/shuttlecocks as the ones provided are usually worn out or broken. They work pretty well if you decide to play casual.

I use ZenPlannerMemberApp for the CrossFit gym I attend. I find it has several issues, but a main one is the constant logging you out and slow response while using ZenPlannerMemberApp . It is very frustrating when you are trying to view the available classes to reserve a spot and it takes forever to load. Often times I have to delete ZenPlannerMemberApp and re-download it get it to work, which is silly considering I have the latest iPhone.

Any prospective gyms looking to use ZenPlannerMemberApp, take it from me, a 2 year gym member Zen planner app user, invest in a better app or a website that loads quickly, and even better, can sync your clients workout classes onto their google calendar to set a reminders.

We are a marketing agency with 2 clients who signed up with Zen about 5 months ago. Before signing up several promises were made including website integration and customer support. Both of which were walked back after joining with them. Several requests were made to make changes to our reps as it would benefit our clients. All of which were met with excuses on how it wouldn’t help Zen. They say they offer website integration but truthfully their iFrames don’t work properly so once you buy they tell you not to use them. We couldn’t be u happier with their support and with the deception they use. Unprofessional and highly recommended you try another software.

I have to constantly delete ZenPlannerMemberApp and reload it on my phone because it won’t recognize the passwords the first time...or the second, third and forth times. Then it finally lets you in only to struggle in syncing your data, kicking you out, and then making you sign in again. It’s like a maddening cycle sometimes. It gets 3 stars because it happens 30% of the time and then glitches when it does work. Highlights are functionality with Zoom and it’s easy intuitive interface

Mike knows what it means to get you in your best shape. I took his classes for 3 weeks and lost 14 total pounds. Unfortunately, I took a new job that requires me to work 12 plus hours a day and had to prioritize my plans! If you are looking for a new gym that will show results, by all means, consider LIVFIT!!!! He will not only coach you , he will take interest in your health! Pushes you to your limit and builds you with each workout!

This is an app used by two of my gyms. I find it to have issues more frequently than any other app I have. It’s frustrating trying to see the WOD or log results and can’t get in. I’ve manually updated ZenPlannerMemberApp and restarted my phone. Still just the big Z going in and out. I already know the response, sorry your having issues, please call us to help resolve. Let’s get ZenPlannerMemberApp running properly so these downtime’s can be avoided. I feel like this is happening weekly, even though it may be less. Even when I haven’t experienced an issue that day, others in the gym make comments about it being down.

Anyways I’ll try again. This is the worst app, however their customer service through email is pretty good and quick to respond. However however, I was told by support that their most recent major glitch was fixed and released on 2/18, yet there is no new update and ZenPlannerMemberApp still has the same glitch today 2/19. ZenPlannerMemberApp already was very glitchy but with this most recent glitch ZenPlannerMemberApp (leaderboard section) is absolutely unusable. ZenPlannerMemberApp refuses to scroll. If I wasn’t required to use ZenPlannerMemberApp to see workouts posted by my gym I would get rid of this soooooo fast.

Very buggy. Works well in long stretches but then logs you out. You can’t log back in, even with the correct password. Using the “forgot password” doesn’t work - the reset password email never comes. (Yes, I checked my spam folder). My gym even tried to force reset PW emails out, but they don’t come. This is a simple app concept. Can’t understand why it’s so hard to get it working right. Use another app if you can.

As I type this, I reinstalled ZenPlannerMemberApp . Now all I get is “we are currently experiencing technical issues” and “reload application”. Of course, it won’t load. Garbage.

This isn’t a bad app but there are a couple of annoying things. I sign up for classes a week or a month at a time, typically, and it’s tedious to have to add them to my calendar one at a time. I would so appreciate an automatic sync, or the option to select multiple classes and then “add all selected” to my calendar. It’s also annoying that it won’t let you open an old version of ZenPlannerMemberApp if there’s an update available. It’s not always a convenient time to do a software update.

The bouncing logo when trying to open reminds me of the rainbow wheel, something is happening but I have no idea what that is besides the logo zooming in and out. When it does finally open, its too bad ZenPlannerMemberApp can’t remember last location viewed. Well I guess for two days now all I have is a logo animation on repeat, so i can’t get in anymore. When ZenPlannerMemberApp works, it’s not too bad, slow, but I really only need it for two things then i exit, every time I have to use ZenPlannerMemberApp , if i forgot to check something and have to go back in, I don’t look forward to the whole process of starting from the beginning again.

Update: Just tried to purchase another membership. Same problem. Screen turns sideways and doesn’t give me a option to pay. Last time it took 48 hours to receive my “bill” and be allowed to pay. I beg my studio owner weekly to switch to Mindbody.

When I try to purchase a membership to my studio the screen turns sideways and won’t let me pay. Please fix.
Also, which of your designers had the terrible idea to not let you see the calendar unless I have a current membership. Shouldn’t you want me to see the calendar to tempt me to make a purchase? Embarrassing design flaw.

This is the worst member’s gym app I’ve ever used. It’s always taking 10 minutes or longer to load. Then the password requirement is just plain ridiculous. I’ve had the same passwords for years on way more important things than tracking my wods. I’ve had to reset the password for ZenPlannerMemberApp so many times I can never remember what it is anymore. The actual usefulness of ZenPlannerMemberApp is garbage compared to Wodify or Beyond the Whiteboard. I cannot dissuade enough people from ZenPlannerMemberApp. I love to tell our gym owner how much I hate this software and wish she’d go back to Wodify! Don’t let your gym owners swap to this junk.

I sure hope the company fixes these issues. It keeps logging me out making it hard to sign my son up for karate. Most apps allow Face ID making it easier when on the go and trust me, parents are on the go. I have two profiles; my CrossFit gym and karate. When I log out and click on karate to log in and sign up my son for class, it keeps signing me into CrossFit gym making it impossible to get signed up for his karate class. So many others issues I don’t have the energy to comment on too. Please fix this Zenplanner

The latest response from ZenPlannerMemberApp designers, developers and/or owners says it all. They state they are extending the log out time in ZenPlannerMemberApp for “those users who are on slower networks”
They are actually blaming users and networks for THEIR APP FAILURE.. What a complete waste.
It’s useless. Cant even GET LOGGED IN… I’ve read the issues regarding ZenPlannerMemberApp in the reviews and I am having all the same issues as others stated in their reviews from a year ago. I’m very disappointed the gym I’m looking into becoming a member of currently uses ZenPlannerMemberApp.

ZenPlannerMemberApp has lots of potential, it just needs some TLC. We use it in our jiu-jitsu gym and it could be an excellent tool if it was a little more reliable. You have to jump through some hoops to even create an account, and once you do, if your account is tied to multiple locations, there’s no good way to switch in between them. It just needs work to be incredible.

Quick into the point one day ZenPlannerMemberApp will work and load and the next day it won’t. One minute it’ll open something that you want to open in the next minute it won’t. Whenever ZenPlannerMemberApp won’t do something it just closes down on you and it crashes. It crashes on me at least 6 to 7 times before I’m able to access whatever portion of ZenPlannerMemberApp I’m trying to open it’s infuriating!

ZenPlannerMemberApp is fairly buggy and not very helpful. Would be useful to have a messaging function so I could message other people in the community or maybe a message board. You should be notified also before you are taken off a waiting list and then placed in a class. ZenPlannerMemberApp have great potential. Not sure why the developers haven’t made more of a community engagement tool instead of an un useful sign up roster.

When searching the library for workouts it would be great to have a back button instead of having to close out each tine. When looking at my results for let’s say overhead squat, my 1, 3, & 5 rep I have to type overhead squat then select 1rep, then, to look at my results for 3 I have to close and retype overhead squat. You should also be able to access viewing any notes made when in the library.

ZenPlannerMemberApp needs to have a way for anyone (member or not) to see all available classes. perhaps after clicking a class they are not eligible for; a prompt should appear and direct them to buy that membership.... OR ALLOW YOU TO PAY THE DROP IN FEE!!! This is huge because my school gets tons of regular drop-ins. I see that I am not the first to complain about this lack of a feature.

App has sporadic and repeated down time with ZenPlannerMemberApp being unable to load on my phone. Others in the gym are able to use when i am not, so it could be my phone. Have unloaded and reloaded numerous rimes with no improvement. Have notified gym owner of my issues so hopefully they can find a better alternative to Zen.

This is one of the worst apps I have ever used. Only works correctly half the time. Most of the time it says app error. More times than not we are having to call customer service to fix something. This is always putting our staff in a bind when they should be preparing for class but instead they are trying to figure out this stupid app. This is app needs some serious help. No idea why we use this for our gym but if you are looking for a gym app. Pass on this one. It’s not worth the headaches.

This is the third app I’ve used for CrossFit and by far the worse. That’s saying a lot because WODify is petty horrible as well. But it’s difficult to pull up past workout, it’s super glitchy, a lot of the updates fix small problems, but create new ones. I currently can’t see the leaderboard for anything past the first part of my workout. And the interface isn’t very user friendly. I highly recommend going with SugarWOD over Zen Planner

ZenPlannerMemberApp works great for me. I can easily view WODs, review prior results, and sign up for classes.

I appreciate the new attendance information. It provides an easy comparison of my attendance from week to week and month to month.

When you are trying to set up a payment it won’t scroll to the United States for a country so you can’t register your checking account. I had to enter a debit chard which charges you more for payments. Then once I finally go in, there were no classes listed to sign up for at the gym. Spent 30+ minutes trying. I am hoping to go straight through the gym and get rid of ZenPlannerMemberApp.

When ZenPlannerMemberApp works it’s good. What I don’t like is having to reinstall ZenPlannerMemberApp over and over. And it’s almost impossible to have a decent password that can actually be memorized since I’ve had to change it 3 times and the rules for a password is ridiculous.

Worked fairly well up until IOS was updated a few weeks ago. Will rate again if and when this glitch is fixed!

This is the worst app I’ve ever seen. At least 2 maybe 3 times a week I can’t get in. Just the constant “Z”. It must stand for zoom in, zoom out. Cause that’s all ya get today. I would love to be able to tap ZenPlannerMemberApp and see my classes and how many athletes I have signed up.. but no, it shall remain a mystery until I get there and see who shows up. Get it together Zen!

This update has made this so much better. Also now supports latest iPhone screen sizes. 👍🏼👍🏼

Constantly logs me out and then when I try to sign back in says that my password is incorrect. When I go to the website to change it, it always tells me I can’t use the current password, you know the same one that ZenPlannerMemberApp just told me was wrong. I wish our gym didn’t use it
