Wow

I’m two weeks in and I am seeing incredible results. When I tried to do this on my own a few years back with the guidance specialized physical therapist, I never made this much progress. EasyKegel helps me keep track of my “workouts” with reminders and the exercise interface/timer is tremendously helpful. I am still in awe of how much progress I’ve made so far! On the things that could be better: a more aesthetically pleasing interface, stronger visual cues for the different parts of the workouts (squeeze vs relax) and an easier way to figure out how to set up your workout. I went with the default 5 sec squeeze increasing the squeeze by 5 secs each week and once increased the number of reps, and it worked, but at first I didn’t feel confident in the setting I chose. But all in all, I am still very pleased, and glad to have the help of this little app.

This is the one

I’ve been using EasyKegel for half a month now, and am noticing significant benefits from it.

I tried the bright green app first and hated it- it tried to be all flash, but I didn’t get results. It also costs more, and for some reason, they’ve got the idea that you struggle with boredom doing these isometric exercises for 1 minute a few times daily, and scramble it up with crazy levels and such. I hated it.

This one is simple and no nonsense, and you control how strenuous you work, and how it presents it to you. No weirdness.

My complaints are:

even paid, you get mild nags to share it with your friends and post reviews, and it alters your program automatically if you respond to the constant questionnaire (too easy? Too hard?) and it messed up my progress because I responded “too hard” once. I never recovered from that, and eventually quit.

there are only 3 color schemes that are hideous, when they should have just given us a color picker and let us choose.

I had a lot of difficulty isolating the correct muscles and performing the exercises correctly, and had diminishing results over the 6 months that I used EasyKegel , and gave up.

Since then I’ve invested in a Joy On Kehel- a female kegel internal sensor device with real time app monitoring and coaching, and gladly have ditched EasyKegel- it just was not enough for my needs.

Well-Designed, Effective, and Easy to Use -Post-Menopause

Having had multiple vaginal deliveries, I have known about Kegel exercises for a long time. However I easily lose track of how many I have done in one session and the number of sessions in a day. It’s easy for me to forget to do them, yet they are the only non-surgical way I know to strengthen the muscles of my pelvic floor. I had gotten to the point that I could not sneeze, laugh, cough, or jump up and down without “spritzing” at least a few drops of urine and using pads on a daily basis. EasyKegel provides a discreet signal as a reminder and helps me focus for two minutes no matter where I am to do my Kegels. It does the counting and tracking for me. All I have to do is show up. My bladder control is restored and anal leakage appears to be resolved as well.

Great simple app

I’m using the free version and love it. I like that there was some info about how to properly do kegels, but I also went online to verify the info.
I could care less about colors within EasyKegel because I’m not looking at it. The one thing I needed was 3 reminders, but since the free version does not have that I just use my alarm app.
It’s nice that EasyKegel offers on/off controls for both vibration and audio. I can use audio when I’m alone so I don’t have to hold my phone. And I can hold my phone on my lap or in my hand for vibrations when others are around. Laying it on a table makes the vibration audible to all! Lol!
This is just EasyKegel I need as I grow older. I used to do my kegles in the car on my way to and from work. But now that I’m retired... well let’s just say that I’ve lapsed and that had consequences.

Incontinence? No more!

Have you been told by your doctor or a friend and know in your heart of hearts that you need to Kegel to rid yourself of pads and/or the embarrassment of leaks? And do you find it difficult to remember to exercise enough so figure it wouldn’t do any good anyway? That was me. I heard about Easy Kegel and started using the free version, then purchased the nicely priced upgrade. It’s so easy to set a schedule, and with the reminders spaced throughout the day, the simple counting and recording graphics, and the fun graphic reward when you reach your daily goal, I have overcome a decades long struggle with incontinence in weeks. Of course, actually doing the exercise is what fixes the problem, but having this elegant little app on my side made it possible for me. Thanks for a great app!

Great friend!

EasyKegel has helped tremendously. I am 59, had a hysterectomy/major pelvic floor overhaul ...that’s easier to understand than the loooong Latin name they gave me lol. Considered to be 2 major ops rolled into one for 6 hrs. Prior to that I could not do pelvic floor exercises as everything had collapsed. EasyKegel has taken me from little control or strength to knowing what I am feeling and can do. My physical therapist has been delighted with my change and I am now considered to be normal. I set EasyKegel up to remind me quietly 8x daily. Aimed to do the exercises 4x daily and was reasonably (on and off 🥴) consistent. Having my little friend vibrate to remind me has been the best helper since I had my kids 30 years ago. Would have loved EasyKegel back then. Highly recommend it.

Excellent and easy to use

I found EasyKegel on a search after my doctor recommended kegel exercises. I knew it would be easier with an app. I used the free version for three months and it was 100 percent meeting my needs, so I can safely say you do not need to buy EasyKegel . I opted to buy EasyKegel in appreciation of a great free product as a thank you. I highly recommend the free version. I really appreciated that it gives you the option use sound cues, vibration cues, and visual cues or you can deactivate the sound and/or vibration and just use the visual. You can also adjust the difficulty though I have only opted to use the default.

The Motivation I Needed

EasyKegel has been awesome. I haven’t even been using it for a week and I can feel a difference in tone. I can also feel how much stronger my kegel flexes are compared to when I started. I need structure or I can’t commit to daily “workouts.” So the reminders are great and the progress tracker tracks how many minutes you’ve done so far and what your goal is. It makes it very compelling to want to meet your goal and feel like you’ve achieved something (and you definitely have!). Also, I’m using the free version. I haven’t felt a need to upgrade as this works just fine.

Awesome but a suggestion

EasyKegel is wonderful - it’s been a helpful addition to the regimen my doc prescribed but there is one suggestion I’d like to make. With the slow testing there’s the ability to change it as needed but the quick ones can’t be modified (ie, you can’t specify to do 5 sets of 5 quick). This is the only thing I wish could be changed because I have to pause the test to follow my doc’s advice and I’m not getting the pause button tapped in enough time and then the rest of the test is messed up. Adding the same personalization here as with the slow would be helpful here too.

Love this app!

I am a girly girl so I love the colors! I also love that it is discreet in that the word KEGEL isn’t on your screen for some nosey busybody to notice. I love that I can turn the sound and vibration on/off at any time - although I do agree with another reviewer that the vibration itself is quite loud. But since you can quickly and easily turn it off, you can just say “what buzzing?” if someone asks. Self promotions to upgrade are nominal, so I really appreciate that as well. As far as reminders without the upgrade, I just use the reminders on my phone to remind me to do the other sets of kegels. EasyKegel is a keeper!

Helpful, Simple, Not Intimidating

EasyKegel got me to stop procrastinating starting regular pelvic floor exercises (Kegels) during pregnancy. EasyKegel is helpful, easy to use, and not intimidating. After about a week of doing them 1-2 times a day they’re getting a little easier, so I’m counting that as progress.

I use the free version, and have set up reminders using my phone reminder app. I also like that EasyKegel icon and notifications are discreet. I know rationally that there is no reason to be embarrassed by reminders to do Kegels, but still I appreciate that.

Helped prevent accidents

I had surgery for colorectal cancer and, unfortunately, my bowel control wasn’t always great. I started consistently doing kegels, and it helped me SO much. I have not had an accident since. I advise practicing them sitting, standing, and walking because we need control in all those situations. As a CRC patient, my focus is on the rectal area, but if urinary incontinence is an issue, shift your focus forward a bit. An added benefit, I swear my orgasms are stronger! EasyKegel has been a lifesaver for me, and I have shared with many other CRC patients. Thank you!

The app you need!

I weightlift but I’m also a woman who wants kids one day, and I have a leaky bladder issue when I laugh too hard. I do EasyKegel alongside my weightlifting routine and have noticed a stronger core, better times when I laugh, as well as in the bedroom ;) I’ve set EasyKegel to go while driving too, so no time driving is ever wasted. The beep cues are perfect, as you never HAVE to actually look at the screen. You can adjust if you want it harder or easier, and I couldn’t praise this free app enough

Excellent

I am so pleased to have found EasyKegel and have already recommended it to my urologist and physical therapist. The physical therapist recommended Kegel exercises but I wasn’t feeling very successful as I found them difficult to execute. I’ve only been using EasyKegel for a week but I am feeling more confident that I am doing them correctly. EasyKegel is very simple to use and I am pleased that reminders link to the Apple Watch. I would love EasyKegel to work 100% on the watch but even without this ability, using it on the phone is a game changer.

Great for people too distractible to do it alone 😅

Let’s face it, kegels are really boring. I’d been trying to do them on my own, but always counted too fast, or lost where I was in the set. EasyKegel is exactly what I needed, a no-frills interface that lets you adjust your routine, sends you reminders, and tracks the time you’ve invested each day.

I bought the upgrade so that I can set as many reminders as I like. I REALLY hate pink interfaces, so I was very happy that I can change the color. I’d like more options, though—especially a green? Some cute themes?

Great after baby - or babies

I found EasyKegel several months after having my first child. When I stuck with the plan, I noticed fairly immediate results. Since I had my second child a week ago, I have been using EasyKegel as proscribed every day, and I can already tell that it's made a difference. I feel like I have much more control, faster. I'm hoping to continue this daily habit moving forward. As far as EasyKegel , it's easy to use, easy to tailor to one's goals, and helps set daily goals. It's also discreet.

Best little helper

As most women, I’ve done kegels off and on for most of my life. After menopause and the prolapse of just about everything that matters, I started doing them seriously to avoid surgery and attempt to tighten up my pelvic floor muscles. EasyKegel is the best reminder that I’ve found. Thanks to this, I can wait till after the pandemic to see my surgeon and definitely forestall surgery. Also, I no longer wake up 3-4 times a night to go to the bathroom! Best sleeping I’ve had in years!

Great app, maybe daylight saving time quirk?

Really like EasyKegel , but maybe just discovered a bug?? Today was the switch from daylight saving time to standard time. I was doing reps after 11pm, and none of them were being recorded. And they weren’t being recorded for tomorrow either. At least they’re not showing up yet. Maybe they’ll show up on tomorrow’s listing once we hit midnight. Still, really like EasyKegel , it’s been very helpful for keeping on track.

Simple and Effective!!

I had a hard time doing kegel exercises on my own even when looking at a timer. Decided to try an app and found this one. Very simple to follow with just the right amount of features. Figured I buy EasyKegel , cost less then a cup of coffee with no ads!! Saw and felt results within the first few days. The reminders help keep me on track. It's also nice to track my progress and challenge myself as the weeks go. Would highly recommend this anyone.

Very Good App

Great as far as being able to use it in the background. Only thing i would add is the ability to change the vibration, the vibration is so strong it makes it difficult to do it at work without a lot of people hearing my phone buzzing, maybe a lower level vibration!? Other than that I love it! Saw results within 7 days- I Set mine to 99 sets of 1 sec squeeze and 1 sec rest and I also have mine set for 99 sets of 99 sec squeeze and 5 sec hold. Definitely increases your grip also try do squats with 2 dumbbells 10lbs each, when you squat keep your back straight and your arms straight down, allow the dumbbells to lightly touch the ground as you squat down and then slowly come back up. As your going-down exhale and clench your vaginal muscles, when the dumbbells touch the ground release your clench and then exhale- clench and then slowly rise up again while clenching your vaginal muscles. Adding weights will help slim your inner thighs and strengthen your vaginal muscles.
