GetSet Reviews

How does an app that’s recommended by so many colleges have so few reviews. I don’t believe it. I think it’s likely there’s some sort of manipulation or obscurantism at play here.

First off, I love the concept of GetSet. It’s good to have a support system from different students in DeVry. There is lots of room for improvement though!
1. Would be good if GetSet was a lot faster, it’s a very slow running app in my opinion
2. I wish GetSet keeps you logged in. It’s kind of annoying having to log in every time I open GetSet
3. Would be nice if they add a private messaging!

All in all, not bad but definitely needs upgrading. I prefer to use this app on my laptop.

I love this app and have really enjoyed using this social media while social distance is encouraged. GetSet has allowed to use the same functions I would use on a desktop version. I have an iPhone 12 so this works very seamlessly through my phone. I recommend this app to anyone!

This is the best app by far. I have been using this more then I use facebook. There is no negativity and people are always happy and if they need help they ask there is no drama. I just love this. You can always ask for help and talk to ur class mates.

I have been using Get Set since I started attending Devry. It is a great tool for many reasons. I think of this platform differently than other social media. It is perfect to ask for help or to provide some thoughts to others who may need guidance. At first I was embarrassed about using it. I don't use social media much. After a few months, I re-arranged my thoughts and asked myself, what would the best student do? My answer to that question was, the best student would be active on Get Set. With Get Set you get what you put into it. You can feel good about voicing out ways to improve yourself. You can also read about what works for other people. If you think of this platform as any other social media you may end up not satisfied like some of the other reviewers. I have used Get Set set on my laptop and my iPhone with no issues. I hope anyone who reads this review will choose to be the best student possible and be an active member to any college extracurriculars to help improve yourselves like I am doing.

The this app app has been such a tremendous help for me, there are so many students willing and ready to help with kind words of encouragement to help keep you motivated toward your long-term goals, The layout is very user friendly, and it even gives you badges for your participation, as you post your own posts, comment on other student's posts, answer questions or ask questions the higher level your badge progresses. This has been a very good way for me to make connections with students at AIU with similar interests in my field of study along with other fields of study, there have been may times when I started to get discouraged and every time I go to the this app app and see the posts of other students I am reminded of the support network between students. Please do not hesitate to download this very useful tool to help you with the success of your goal.

I think it’s a great thing to connect with students like yourself. this app is a fun way to connect with the students who go to the same school you do. Hearing stories and sharing advice became 10x easier with this app. I really recommend getting GetSet if you like an audience and need good advice about college and what challenges you may face.

this app is one of the most powerful systems for creating memories within the online college communities! You build relationships with your peers and connect with them in amazing ways. I absolutely love this platform so much because I have met so many amazing people through this. It is definitely worth checking out!!!

GetSet is great. It has help me connect with other classmates. Not only is it a page to encourage people, but you can also post about struggles and don’t have to worry about people judging you for it. Instead, people are nice and try to give advice to help you. All in all, a great app. I thought I wouldn’t talk to many people while doing online school, but with GetSet, I’ve made friends.

Since I have been part of the get set community I have been able to connect with people with common interest and perspectives. We are able to motivate each other to do the necessary things for us to be successful. It’s social, but it is not social media. I recommend to any who it has been offered to and also those who will hopefully get the chance.

This is a wonderful way to connect with other classmates. Which ever classes you have you can always go on here and ask for help from students who already took the class or already in the same class. Even if there's information you need to know this is the best place. We all help each and we all family and we all trying achieve our goals. Don't be afraid to ask anything and we here to support y'all.

This community has been extremely helpful with not only getting answers to important questions but also allowing me to reach out to people that needed a better understanding of life allowing me to use my own experiences as proof that no matter how hard life hits you, as long as you keep fighting and never give up you can always reach your goal and the only thing that limits you is yourself

Shalom! My name is Rodney Sha’Ron and I first became a student with DeVry in 2012 after a LONG hiatus from any type of formal education environment. I decided then to go back to school but to do it online because it worked with my schedule. After doing very well and completing more than half of my degree program, life threw me some fast curve balls and I was basically forced to stop attending school. This pause in education was five years long. Now, it’s 2021 and I am back and better than ever!

In 2012 we did not have the networking app this app. The only communication with classmates was during our courses in the discussion boards. DeVry already as a great set up for tutoring and counseling but didn’t really have anything for peer to peer. Now they do! When I returned to DeVry and discovered there was a social network platform JUST FOR US I was really excited! Now we get to share with our classmates, become friends, mentor each other, counsel each other, create study groups and much more. This is the best thing DeVry could have done for its student body.

Since downloading GetSet I haven’t have any trouble using it or any glitches. I also use the this app website and again, no problems.

I love DeVry and I love this app!

this app has been such a great tool for us students. this app is like being on campus. With this app I was able to network and make friends. Whenever I feel like this may not be for me or I feel like giving up, I go on this app and read other students post, comments, quotes, ideas, thoughts, their experience and struggle. We are not alone on this journey. The teachers and students has been a great source of inspiration for me. Those late nights doing homework and assignments, this app has help stay motivated. So if you are reading this and are a new student, please know that you are in this alone we are all here for each other and never be afraid to reach out to your teachers or anther student ( myself included) I love sharing my ideas and tips with new students because I used to in your shoes too and I know I felt. YOU GOT THIS!!!!!!

I love this app, it’s easy to use. I love being able to meet my classmates at CTU as well as get to know them. It’s also nice that there are weekly “to do lists” as I call them. It helps you know more about yourself and what you want to accomplish.
