As the title states, this is the worst app ever. It doesn’t allow you to move the blur, and you can’t just blur a tiny part. It makes you have a blur on the screen at all times. I wanted to blur 2 seconds out of a nine minute long video and since you can’t move the blur, I had to go frame by frame moving the blur out of the picture. Then, when I had finally blurred what I wanted and was about to push done, MovStash crashed!!!!!!!! I went back in and none of it saved. I am not going frame by frame through nine minutes just to have it crash again. I would say this is better than nothing, but it really just isn’t. Also, I wish there were a rectangle shaped blur because I was blurring a text message but the closest thing is a square and you can’t just have part of it on the top without it being a huge nuisance. I read your reviews however I decided to give your app a try… the people are correct!! There is No place to even Give Permission for videos!!
And the only videos my phone would find is on ICloud!! I don’t have any videos there!!

I bought MovStash thinking I could blur out a license plate in a video, it worked okay until I go to upload it and it says “Video has Not been exported. Something went wrong :(“ then it proceeds to delete whatever editing you had already done. I repeated this process using different methods 7-8 times and I still got the same message. Overall, I would suggest just finding a different app to edit your photos or videos on.

It’s horrible to me for me it worked with the blur to cover up thing but then the most important part was to save it to my camera roll and it wasn’t even doing that and I needed to do this for a video so now I have to find ANOTHER app to get what I need for the video also it takes AGES to download it takes about 10 minutes to download a simple video, so then your just looking stupid trying to wait for the video when after it doesn’t even download this was a waste of my time.

This is the best video blur app period. Has everything I need but has a 2 things I would like them to add/fix. Only reason I am rating 1 star is because of these issues. I was literally editing a 40 second video for about 2 hours and all my hard work was GONE! PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE!!! Or if MovStash crashes have it automatically saved into MovStash .

The timeline is the best way to use the blur tool, but you have know the first point, the next point, and the last point leads where all points in between gravitate to.

My biggest complaint is the resize and rotate tool is directly connected to the blur tool and it obstructs the view of the blur tool when you want to blur small sections.

Each time I use MovStash and finish editing my videos, I have to delete and reinstall to delete the videos restored in cash ...it would be much better if there’s an option in settings to delete the projects.

Well, it’s good enough for me, but I wish it was more high tech like the blur spot would move with the thing it was covering during the vid, our u could actually draw over the place u want to blurt. But u might need to pay for an app like that. So if u r looking for a simple, free app, get this one!

Overall MovStash is really easy to use however I have tried on numerous occasions to share video that has faces blurred through iMessage and text and they simply won’t send. I wanted to contact MovStash creator but the help link takes me to twitter and I’m not a member and will not become one so hopefully they will read this review and handle the issue.

PLEASE design a way to make blurring easier to edit-in when the object is moving. Unless I’m missing something, the only way to do this is a “frame by frame” method that leaves me tapping a billion times within 20 seconds. I keep giving up on my projects because I’m too fatigued! Otherwise, I have 3 stars because it’s the only one on the market and saved me having nothing to use at all.

Does what its advertised to do. You can change the intensity or type of blur. You can also blur a moving object but you have to do it frame by frame. Only sucky part is you cannot save and leave MovStash or you’ll lose your work.

MovStash is really awesome! But I have been trying to blur out my face with other things but MovStash is usually junk. But I found this and I was like maybe this will work! But you can’t move the blur. So I can’t blur out my or someone else’s face! Maybe it’s my device, but if not then please add in moving the blur. That’s why MovStash only gets a 4 star rating. But other than that it’s a great app! Have a nice day\night! 😌

So when I downloaded MovStash I went to photos or videos and it didn’t show the video so I couldn’t blur out the face can you fix this bug

I love MovStash. It’s the best FREE video blur software out there for app editing. However, it’s started to crash every time while rendering (saving) the video that you just spent a ton of time editing. Please fix this ASAP—I love MovStash and I also promote it to friends.

MovStash is amazing and I want to appreciate the owner if this and making it free.I am a youtubers and I want to blur out my face sometimes and sometimes I want to move the blur to a face but it would be 5 star

So I installed MovStash and made my video blurry, my video was 15 minutes long and when I pressed save, the loading screen pops up but it was really slow maybe change the fact that videos that are a little long dont need to load slowly.

What I’ve been looking for for a long time! I will give this 5 stars if you add a rectangle shape, app desperately needs it. More shapes would be cool too!

Pretty good app. Would highly recommend to anyone trying to make minor/major blurs on IPhone, stationary blurs that is. Only thing I couldn’t figure out is how to blur a moving object but I worked around that. Great app would recommend easy to use.

Face tracking feature was a little inconsistent, although, simple blur mode for the face worked like a charm. Gets the job done!

This is an excellent app, I don’t know why people are saying you can’t move the blur it’s super easy, great for censoring addresses or faces 10/10
