The NMAC app is giving me an error when trying to login. "ERROR - We're sorry, an error occurred that caused your transaction to be unsuccessful. Please try again." I tried last week and got 5the same message. How can I pay my upcoming car note?
I had called NMAC in July because i had to change my due date to the 24th of each month due to the way my funds have changed the times that they are deposited. I called NMAC asking if they had repossessed my vehicle and the agent said it was. My neighbor sent me the video that it was late on Thursday night but I wasn’t aware of it until Friday at 3:30. I didn’t hear anything and thought it happened on Friday. I was on hold for an hour on Friday afternoon before I was able to speak to an agent but I was cut off before we had finished. I then waited on hold another hour at night before i reached another agent. I had explained to both that I have had loans on 4 vehicles since 2014 and I’ve always had autopay. Instead of withdrawing my autopay on the new due date in July they withdrew it a day before and I didn’t have the funds until the due date. I called and sent in the payment the next day which they accepted. I then went through my bank statements this weekend. In August they again took it out on the wrong date and it didn’t go through. In September and October they didn’t take anything out at all and so claim I missed 3 payments. I’m 73 and I’ve been on Social Security Disability since a surgery gone wrong caused me to retire from my job at our high school and go on disability when I was 52. I live alone and I have been seeing my PCP and 5 specialists at least once every week for continuing and new health problems since I moved to SC 7 years ago. I also lost all of my teeth due to Sjogrens Disease and had to pay $35,000 for implants which totally depleted my retirement fund. I had used withdrawn funds from it at times when the funds I expected in my checking account werent deposited on time. I was going to get bloodwork done on Friday when I saw my vehicle was missing. At first I thought it had been stolen until I was looking for the phone number of the hospital and I remembered that I’d called T-Mobile because all of my unknown numbers were being sent to voicemail. I also didn’t know that my voicemail was advising callers that my voicemail was full which it wasn’t having only 10 calls when my brother told me. I had over 400 emails and I was looking for the one from T-Mobile and I noticed one from GMAC on October 7th saying I owed over $1800. I had over $2000 to over $8000 in my checking account on the 24th of each month. I don’t know why they didn’t withdraw payments of $562.33 on the 24th for the last 3 months when that amount was in my account. I have all of my bills on autopay so that I assume they are being paid. I don’t check because I trust that the companies being paid automatically are withdrawing their payments on the due dates. I have gathered and printed all of this documentation but there is no email listed to send them. I know on Monday the hold times will be even longer so I’m sorry this is so long but I need to straighten this out immediately. They claim you can mail them. It takes anywhere from 10 days to weeks for mail to be delivered. I have no car, there is no bus, taxi, or Uber in Moncks Corner. I’m diabetic and my sugar has been low and my blood pressure high now and I had a heart attack and a 4 artery bypass surgery. That’s why I was going for bloodwork. I have appointments with my endocrinologist and my cardiologist scheduled. My son is in WV and my brother in PA where I moved from. Besides doctor appointments, I learned on Friday that my car was towed to Martinsburg WV over 8 hours from me. I have been a loyal customer buying 4 new Nissan vehicles and paying my loans and leases off for more than 11 years. I hope that someone from NMAC administration can straighten this out and get my 2023 Rogue back. I have the money for the 3 payments which is $1776.99 but they are saying I owe $2270.99. I will pay whatever at this point but the other issue is I was advised I can only pay through MoneyGram and they would not let me open an account online and there are no MoneyGram locations here. Just financed with Nissan for the first time. First it took FIVE WEEKS to get any mail with an account number on it so I could even use the app in the first place.
This morning I made my first payment. This app is ridiculous! Took 3 tries just to log in because it took so long it gave me an error. Finally got in and had to enter my bank info which took another 5 minutes because every time you navigate to a different page it loads for a full minute. Tried to add some extra money to my minimum payment but of course when I hit the Slide to Pay it again took so long to load it kicked me out. Said screw it and just made the minimum which finally went through after AGAIN taking forever to load.
This app was updated last week for bug fixes and the first time I attempt to use it this is how well it works? I am not ordering checks just to pay a car payment. I’ll refinance my loan first before I deal with this crap every month for 6 years!

As ok 3 weeks ago I haven’t been able to view anything on my account luckily I have auto pay set up and payments should go through but when calling the company about the issue of not being able to sign in I was told “I don’t know why you are having these issues so try deleting and reinstalling the app and if that doesn’t work try online” well I tried both and the app keeps bringing me a message that states “sorry your action can not be completed at this time” and when I log in on the website it logs me in then forces me to try and re register then even after doing all that it just tells me “a account has already been set up” this is exactly frustrating and angering I don’t understand what happened in the month I was able to log in to the month that I wasn’t allowed to log in

Maybe the App Store should have a sit down with these people that developed this thing because it is completely useless and frustrating to the point that you wanna scream at somebody. Forget, trying to login in the app keeps sending me back to the registration page which I have done five times in a row now, which is a bit repetitive.
I also talk to the customer care department, and I must say that was a real joy ride as well. The best response you can get from the customer care team is oh well we’re having some problems with that app. No kidding!!! Like others who have told their story before me I was referred to their webpage only to go through the same freaking nightmare again. It made me regret even buying a Nissan and much more it made me regret having to finance through them.
