Guitar Tuner Tone Generator Reviews

I have GuitarTunerToneGenerator on an iPhone and noted it tuned my guitar sharp. Loaded a fender tuning ap that then brought it back down. Noted the frequency of this ap was indicating about 10 hz down for every string. Verified this ap was the problem by loading a tone generator on another device. Again GuitarTunerToneGenerator consistently showed about 10 hz below actual. I like the user interface for GuitarTunerToneGenerator . Just wish it actually worked correctly.

i used to to tune my guitar and i just knew that what it was saying was right was way too high, so i downloaded 2 more tuners to check. All of them said that the way GuitarTunerToneGenerator tuned my guitar was way too high and then as soon as i started tuning it down my strings snapped. Terrible don’t download. Oh and also it’s really annoying that it oaks for a rate every 10 seconds

Trying to find an app that'll show me the Hz of the detected tone on screen. That's it. I'll work the tuning out from there. Actually, I'm trying to tune belt tension in a machine using the frequency of the strum. But the manufacturer doesn't recommend a specific app :(

GuitarTunerToneGenerator just sits there saying 440Hz all the time, and nothing on the screen changes when strumming the belt. No indication that anything is wrong. No suggestion on how to improve to get a reading. No idea what GuitarTunerToneGenerator wants me to do to make it do its job.

It might the be the same calibration issue that McBean2000 listed 4 years ago. Couldn’t get the Apple Watch version to work at all, just froze. 2 stars only for their creative attempt to try and get the watch tuner to work despite Apple watches limitations. But overall a tuner that doesn’t work and needs to be fixed. Best of luck figuring it out developers!

When you first open GuitarTunerToneGenerator , a long clip of Arnold Schwarzenegger's voice from some movie plays, advertising GuitarTunerToneGenerator you already just downloaded. This makes it so that you can't very well use GuitarTunerToneGenerator for the first few minutes after opening it. Completely ridiculous.

First of all, this doesn’t even work on Apple Watch, it asks you to rate it every 10 minutes, and my ears are probably more accurate than it. It tunes the wrong string. And on Apple Watch, there is no way to tune, you listen to a recording of the string, and do it yourself. The ‘tune’ button does not work, and I have got an a series 5. You need to fix these minor glitches and then it might be with something, but for now, there’s no point.

I wanted a good mobile tuner for when I go out of the house to play. I tried this out tuning my guitar first with my trusty chromatic tuner. Then I tuned it with GuitarTunerToneGenerator. It consistently tuned a full tone and a half high across all strings. It sounded and played good but at the same time was like putting a capo on the third fret. I’ve returned to my original tuner but will use my watch when necessary keeping in mind it tunes high.

I was looking for a tuner that could tell you what pitch your string was at but it gave me a tuner that told you if you were getting the cords right. It was however one of the best free guitar tuner apps I could find for my Apple Watch. At first my guitar instructor told me it would be exactly what we were looking for after he looked at the ratings and what it was about a little, but even after he saw GuitarTunerToneGenerator he said it wasn’t really a good fit for what we wanted. GuitarTunerToneGenerator would be great for people who are looking for a tuner that tells you if your playing the cord right but it was just more than what I was looking for. I feel like this would be a great app if you not only put the tuning for the cord but if you also put the tuning for the strings. Im really sorry for making this super long I just wanted to state my concerns my issues and the positive sides of GuitarTunerToneGenerator . I also know that some of the longest reviews can get to the top. Anyway thanks for reading this and I hope some of you guys find what your looking for in GuitarTunerToneGenerator.

GuitarTunerToneGenerator and interface are great. Love the inclusion of guitar, ukulele, violin, viola, and cello. Interface and tone generator is intuitive and clean.

Issue: the chromatic tuner shows the correct frequency in Hz but the "needle" is always showing that the tuning is too low. To get the tuning in the green, the note is way too sharp. Some sort of calibration is off.

If this is corrected it is a hands down five star app.

Very helpful and very accurate as well. Super easy to use. I recommend it to beginners and for people in a rush.

Lots of tuners get you within 10%, which is good enough…for most recreational applications. GuitarTunerToneGenerator only tries, with wild success, to do one thing.

This is the best tuner I have ever found for free! This is all I need it to tune my acustic guitar and my kids Ukeleles and the fact that I can tune them strait from my iwatch is huge and amazing. I hope the creator could add the 4 and the 6 strings Bass tuner option on the next update!

Pro tuner is very easy to use and it has many different instruments that you can choose it is great.

One of the most accurate guitar tuners I've tried, and now my favorite. I especially like having (a piano-like) tone for "fine tuning" at the end.

If your a musician playing guitar, ukulele, violin, etc. this Pro Tuner is for you. It easily lets you accurately tune your instrument with precise pitch at a touch of a button. I also love it to get the frequency in Hertz (Hz) for notes like (A)
is equal to 440 Hz. All you have to do is hold it near your iPhone's microphone and it picks up the exact note and frequency in the display. I give Pro Tuner my 5 Coconuts!
