First I DO want to say that I love Camcorder! I was the person in my family, that even as a child, I loved to pop in the family video tapes and watch all the family videos. I later went to film school - though I've moved on in my life, my love of filming and photography has stayed with me. When I saw Camcorder I got super excited, sought it out, and downloaded it immediately. So far I've had a lot of fun filming various things I'm doing, hanging with friends, and the cultural gathering they've been happening during this winter season.
However, the one thing I would like to see improved is the unreliability in saving the footage after filming it. It's generally a wild card as to whether I'll have the footage after I've pressed the button to stop recording. I'm filming things in the moment as they happen, so if it doesn't save after filming, that moment is gone forever.

I downloaded Camcorder because I'm making a show for my friends, but it takes a lot of storage and I made a video, and it was erased. I can't even remember my lines anymore! Camcorder only makes three minute videos. I think Camcorder should update to where it has longer videos and more color. I also would like it to take less storage and help with storage management. I thought Camcorder would be better. I had my hopes up, but it's nothing I thought it would be.

I just downloaded this and love, love love it. I’ve been trying to find a free vhs style app on the phone for a while, and stumbled across this. Awesome! I love it. But when I clicked on the album button to check photos/bottom right, the whole app froze on me. I kept going out of Camcorder and trying again, but whenever I try and pull up a video form my camera roll Camcorder freezes. Please fix this! Overall it’s a good app but the bug is a huge hindrance.

First off, Camcorder is great. It faithfully captures the analog feel and doesn’t overdo it too much. But the only problems are the videos don’t save but this is a problem with many apps so it may also be the fact that I have a relatively old phone (SE) so I won’t make too much of a fuss about it. The other problem is that I can’t change the date. Even the bad vhs apps have a option to change the date! At least have a option or function to just flat out remove the date. I won’t be too hard on Camcorder considering it’s completely free, but please consider having a option to remove the date.

Not letting me share to Instagram which is the point I'm using Camcorder. I clicked share and copy to Instagram but it opens to another app I have that's not even listed among the apps you can share it on! The sharing asks to open emojiface? Emojiface isn't even a social networking app it's a dang keyboard app. And the very first video I made using Camcorder while it was working better, the video cuts out part of the date and time when I want to share it. Updated: finally gotten it to work properly. Doesn't ask to open in emojiface anymore and straight goes to Instagram like I want

It's a great app! I love using it to record certain videos. The only problem I have is how you can only record for 3 minutes. I use Camcorder to record concerts and performances are usually longer than 3 minutes. If there was a way that it could be longer, that would be great (would possibly consider paying for that...)
Other than that, I have no complaints!

well, this is my first time using an "old this app" app. Everything through this app is really old just like what i need to make an old video for family and friends. The thing that I like the most is features of this app are very simple, easy to use, no need a guidelines.
In short, five stars for you !!! Hope to see more interesting updates !!!

You have created a perfect this app. The films of the 80s, 90 has always fascinated me. The application gives me a lot of emotion, it helps me to record the truest picture of family, friends and my colleagues. This really is a social app promises to give us the most impressive moments of life. I enjoyed the crab Shots Mobile products, I would definitely recommend Camcorder to everyone.

listen, I’ve been trying to find a vhs thingy that works, no in app purchases and that’s fast and looks good. This is perfect honestly. As someone who edits I promise this is the perfect FREE app for simpson waves and more. it might look funky while it’s loading but that’s not what the finished product will look like. It will automatically save to your camera roll and look perfect!!!!

This is a great app, since it makes it look like something from the 80s or 90s. Too bad you can’t change the date to make it look like that... well this is a short review because I don’t know what to say. So if the developers are reading this, I would really appreciate it if you made it so you can change the date. Thank you!

I like that you can convert your older videos and make them look like they are from the 90's. Also the flash option it is very usefull when there's little light around.

So I’ve been trying to find a vintage camera effect for weeks. First I stumbled upon glitch cam or whatever and I was planning on installing that. After reading the reviews about how most of it wasn’t free...my mind changed. Fast forward about a week I looked up this app and found this. It had great reviews soooo I installed it. WHY YOU SHOULD INSTALL THIS: it’s free to download. You can upload things from you camera roll for free (literally no other app lets you do that for free). It saves on to your camera roll too! 100% recommend to any Instagram editors (including myself *coughs*). Yeah

Camcorder is good but I think it would be a lot better if we could have more options like adding more grain/distortion to the video and if we could switch between the "vintage" filter and just the normal color that the camera would pick up from whatever the person is recording.

Great app!! Love it very much!! Only thing I think that should be added is being able to record a lot longer than you can currently do. Also, maybe a few more filters? I dunno, I feel like home recordings made outside look a little different? Maybe it's the camera or something but adding on to that, maybe the option to add more static if you want? That would be cool. Again, love Camcorder !!!! Great for the old school feel.

I really love Camcorder ever since I downloaded it a few months back. I like it because the filter is amazing and it's honestly such a unique app and it makes videos better! Plus, when you record, the date and time you took the video is on the bottom left corner so if you ever go back to watch some old videos, you know when you made it. Great for video diaries! If you haven't downloaded it, I recommend everyone to do so. Very great app!

Camcorder is amazing and I've always been a big fan of 'The Blair Witch Project' and 'Paranormal Activity', therefore I find Camcorder amusing and a blast from the past. Camcorder ACTUALLY depicts what home films were comprised of instead of just white hashes, a red dot, and 'REC' in the corner. Camcorder brings it all to the table, the bland color, the little lines, and blurs of static/distorted lines. Camcorder is overall great app and is great for film students, YouTubers, or even just bored people looking for something interesting (like myself) *****5 STARS*****

Camcorder was very simple to use and from the vey beginning, I was already understanding it. It functions the same way as your regular phone camera app but records in this VHS filter which adds a date to the video. Camcorder can also import other videos and also apply the filter. Camcorder was super simple to use and was lightning speed fast in opening and recording. Based on the simplicity and functionality of Camcorder , I completely recommend.

I have downloaded and use applications; great app; users feel like they were recorded in the 80 and 90 directly from their own phone. Users enjoy the great features when using the application: Upload your photos and videos from automatically add the date and filter. Enable Flash when in dark places while shooting video. Double tap to move the camera when you want to record; Just launch the application and record a video that never miss the precious moments. Especially the free app. Thanks to the developers.

Camcorder is the first app that I’ve gave a review on and it’s because it’s so great. I was searching for an app that had these effects because I am a fan edit maker. I searched and searched but the only ones I liked had to be paid for. Then, in an app recommender video, I found this. From them on, it’s one of apps that I’m grateful for. Thank you to the producer.
