TTMIK is really a good resource to learn this app. Good job TTMIK team!! Just a few suggestions for Korean : 1) the stability of Korean is not yet ideal; 2) the content of each lesson can be reviewed only through the pdf, which doesn’t not fit well with mobile phone screen size. It would be much greater if the lesson content can be shown on the page of each lesson (as it is shown in the mobile website version!!!). But again thanks for making this app learning so accessible and fun!!!

I loved using Korean. It was the greatest way for me to learn this app. I’m a visual learner, so the PDFs played a huge part in my learning. I’m so disappointed that I can’t use them anymore… I have a really difficult time learning through verbal instructions, so I found Korean to be really helpful while also being very informative because I was given the option to read to understand what was being taught to me. Now that I can’t access the PDFs anymore though, it’s gonna be much more difficult for me to learn. I don’t know if it was a bug on my end or if you removed the PDFs, but that’s my experience. Other than that, I loved using Korean. Really good.

I enjoy the mini k dramas it gives you to help you Improve and it’s super duper helpful when it comes to making the constants I just wish it showed you more when I comes to what sound it makes and how to read that sound and how to pronounce it you know I could use more help on that.

Also I have trouble understanding when to know when it’s a double g or a double k and also I could use help on when to pronounce it and how to read it
Because it’s different when you read it because when you read it’s different but then you pronounce it and say it in Romanization and all of a sudden it’s like it’s adding on a whole new 2 words but then you write it in the this app symbols and all of a sudden it’s missing like 2 of those this app symbol words and then it gets more difficult to learn the language so please it’s a really good app but a few adjustments wouldn’t hurt anyone. Right?

Soooooooo if someone can please just ya know that works with Korean please add to it and respond to me than that would be highly appreciated 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 thanks

My family is this app and I am a first generation American-this app. I could understand basic commands and never knew how to read/write. For the majority of my life i have never bothered to learn this app because i was comfortable with just talking to my parents in english. However, i realized as i got older my parents also got older and it became harder to communicate with them. Thats when i started taking interest in learning my native language. When I started taking this app courses in my University as a Thematic minor, i was introduced to this program “Talk to me in this app”. I cannot express the gratitude and respect I have for this program. It exceeded all my expectations and answered all my questions. And throughout the lessons the tips are actually helpful to bare in mind rather than a generic tip or already-known tip thats really obvious. For example, the explanation of why the ending consonants are never/rarely pronounced in certain words like the ㅂ in -합니다. For a free program like this, I definitely learned a lot more than what I could've learned through over priced and ineffective language programs like rosetta stone. I would highly recommend this for both beginners and also people like me who are already this app but wanting to understand the language even further. Again thank you for your wonderful and friendly service!

I am a 65 yr old American whose primary language is English. I have studied Spanish, Russian, Japanese, and now this app. This is by far the easiest, most complete way to learn a foreign language. The books combined with online lessons, connection through various social media, and Korean allow one to have a complete course without going to a classroom. The resources are quite extensive and easy to use. My 4 yr old grandson is learning along with me, that’s how easy this program is!

Korean is laid out well and easy to learn from. I especially like the PDF’s associated with each lesson although, I wish you can e-mail them to yourself. I really enjoy the “English” pronunciation of the this app words. I also like how they have videos associated in Korean because when I commute to work, I have plenty of time to watch and learn on the go!

This is one of my favorite apps now to learn this app! It gives you small portions on each podcast so your brain doesn’t explode. The teachers are very nice talkative easy to understand and make some jokes along the way if your looking for an app for beginner intermediate or advanced learning this will be for you! I also love that everything in Korean is free! Amazing app!!!

Hundreds of high quality podcasts and videos to help you progress at your own rate without becoming bored or stressed. The accompanying pdfs make each lesson easy to follow. I have been studying daily for over a year and feel very pleased with my progress. It is the most used app on my phone. Hands down the most cost effective way to learn this app. I actually look forward to my 1.5hr commute because it is like going to a friendly private tutorial. The teachers keep it fresh and fun with constant new content. Plenty of this app culture is threaded throughout. If I had to describe TTMIK in one word it would be clarity. They are careful to give you the nuances that are often lost in translation with other programs.

What doesn’t Korean have? If I need clarification on grammar, it’s there. If I need to brush up on expressions and vocabulary, it’s there. Simple to search and find exactly what you’re looking for and the best language site I’ve seen, ever! The grammar explanations are easy to understand, clear examples are given, the Q&A videos are also particularly helpful and really help me expand my vocabulary. Also bought the Hanja guide and just ordered a textbook. Awesome!

The fact that such an amazing app is free is a HUGE thing! The teachers explain each and every concept clearly and legit cover almost everything! Like they probably cover 99% of the basic & intermediate and even advanced this app concepts, which many paid services fail to do! I thank the teachers and developers for keeping Korean and the lessons still free after all these years! I have learnt a lot and learn even more each day ❤️

It is a good way for beginners to understand this app grammar. It has been helpful and has easy lessons for everyone to understand. I love that it has the pdf files to download. Love Korean ! If anyone is wanting to start speaking this app I recommend this app+. It gives levels that you can follow and doesn’t have everything mixed up like other language learning apps do.

This one is far better because it’s organized, I don’t know why there are two apps with the same content? Maybe the other one has more podcasts? Did I pay for this one? Can’t remember. Not sure, but I purchased all of the companion books and workbooks that go with the TTMIK podcasts and they are REALLY invaluable because I am able to hear how the words are pronounced. Love all of their stuff!

Korean is phenomenal! It is, in my opinion, the best app for this app. For many reasons, but one in particular: the grammar. Korean is very well organized so it teaches you grammar from easiest to hardest levels. Plus! Since this app is quite different from English, it goes into detail as to WHY things are said the way they are. It’s one of the few apps that goes into detail and discusses grammar, which is SO relevant for any language. It is not JUST vocabulary (though they provide that as well). If you need a great source for grammar when it comes to this app, use TTMIK. You won’t regret it!

I am going to study abroad in Korea and although I am more intermediate than beginner, it really helped smooth over rough edges in pronunciations and grammar context! But with that I also learned so many new things! Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, it is great for your this app skills! Each podcast (they are in the grammar lesson section) takes you step by step and gives a in-depth explanation for each word you learn. I love their personalities and it hasn’t gotten boring at all! I would definitely recommend!! No ads and it provides you a PDF with each podcast to help you visualize and follow along! 😌 My all time favorite this app learning app/website! 💗✨💕

I never write a review to any app before, but this time I’m going to. Korean is free and complete all features to learn Korea especially for beginner. The curriculum is very organized and i like the ways things build up and reviewing past lessons while you study the new stuffs. Also, the conversations between teachers are very interesting. You are not just learning languages but also engaging with this app cultures the same time. Very good for self-motivated and busy schedule people. I never take this app classes before. See how much I can go with it and I will write the reviews again after a few months. Highly recommended to all who want to learn Koreans systematically.

I wish I could give more stars for TTMIK. It teaches you the writing system in one in one of the easiest ways to understand, gives you grammar lessons with audio that let you hear exactly how to pronounce a word correctly, and just somehow makes learning easy and fun. Downside: none. I can't even talk about the ads because they are so tiny I don't even notice them. I wish I could support them more but they only ask for $3 a year to get rid of the ads. It also allows you to download their videos for offline use. Please get Korean. It's free, it's easy, and the only way to support them is to either pay the $3 a year or use Korean . Thanks team! <3

I’ve been using Korean for about a week now and I can gladly say it’s been helping me with this app while giving thorough lessons and even giving tips to help me sound more fluent! Although I’ve only been using Korean for a little while, I can tell that it’s going to teach me everything I’ll need to know about this app language so I can speak it confidently. The PDFs that are given with each lesson are a plus as well, I’m really thankful for Korean because most language learning apps charge ridiculous amounts and don’t teach as in depth as this one does! Thank you to the creators and developers and podcast members, you’re lessons are a blessing that I’ll never forget :)

I’m surprised not many have reviewed Korean! It’s honestly one of my favorites and I use it everyday to practice my this app. The best feature it has are the podcasts! Each podcast come with a PDF so you can take down some notes and physically see what the instructors are teaching. The podcasts are also really entertaining and it personally helps me when they make jokes and play around. It feels like I’m learning this app with a couple friends, I love it!!!

As a beginner, I’ve been looking around for affordable apps to learn this app, and this one really hit the mark! The lessons are detailed and entertaining, and the pdfs complement the lesson very well too.

The only reason it lost one star is because of the downloading offline feature. I paid for the premium, but the lessons I download offline continuously un-download themselves without my interference. Otherwise, 10/10 recommend

What better way to learn a language than through conversation and repetition? These guys have it. I've just started, but have already been able to use what I learn. They also sound like fun and good people! I use the books too, but they're quite a bit expensive due to shipping from Korea. Worth it though. Keep it up!

I was using Duolingo, but my this app coworker couldn't understand the words I was saying to him. Now he can make out my phrases and even complimented me on a few !!

This series is thorough without being overwhelming. I love the teachers and giggle whenever they disagree about appropriate shortenings of words or joke about who is more popular. Looking forward to continuing my lessons :)

So far this has been very helpful on my journey to learn this app. It brings you up slowly and lets you learn phrases as well as learning the structures of sentences. I’m so glad it’s free, especially because I am young, young and I don’t have money. It’s detailed but simplified. The only thing I need help on and I’m going to have to keeping studying is subject and topic particles.
