Failed to convert CR2 files to PNG, and there’s no option to convert to DNG.

Brand new iPad Pro with an M1 chip, so power isn’t the problem.

Tried the free version to convert some DNG to JPG. Although the actual result was acceptable (after some fiddling), I have several criticisms:
- your photos are uploaded (somewhere?) for conversion. Where are they uploaded to? What is your privacy policy? Are they archived for future nefarious purposes!?

- the slide controls on the conversion screen is confusing. Compression of 50% and resize of 100% were default. If you bump the sliders it’s impossible to set them back to the default values due to the sensitivity of the controls. Suggest that double tapping the line returns the slider to the default

- the compression slider should clarify if 100% means more or less compression (ie. 100% could mean the converted file is 100% quality, rather than what actually happens is a very pixelated photo)

I’m not inclined to trust PhotoImageConverter until the privacy issues are clarified

I’ve been going back and forth withthe app but it lied and i can only do 1 photo at a time even tho in files it lets me select them all still doesn’t work:( 3 dollars down the drain...

PhotoImageConverter was unable to convert RAW files, which is what I needed it for, and the developer did not respond to a help request to work through the errors. Deleted PhotoImageConverter .

I paid for premium. It converts my NEF files to pixilated 30kb conversions and there is no option in preferences or settings to fix this.

Bought the paid version so that I can convert larger files, but still can’t convert large files. Useless to me.

This used to be a great app! Alas, for months now, all uploads to their server all fail and their Contact form only returns errors.

# Starts the photo selection from the oldest photo..... and if you have lots of photos on your phone, you have lots of scrolling. # Only saves the converted files to a folder within PhotoImageConverter . You have to do a back door method to get the files where you want them. # Drops converted files.... they just disappear! It only worked properly 2 times for me despite re-loading and re-booting. If I’m purchasing a product, it better work correctly every time even if it’s free!

Couldn’t convert CR2 to JPEG.

For some reason PhotoImageConverter only allows you to upload your file from your photo library. My image is a pdf vector located in Dropbox therefore I could not convert my image to the format I needed. I did attempt to open the image in PhotoImageConverter by first opening in Dropbox but unfortunately that didn’t work either. I also tried copying to my Drive account and opening from that location and that also did not work. Had high hopes for PhotoImageConverter. Seems like an easy fix.

Not very user friendly… if it could replace the original file, even have that option.

This is a very nice app to have in your phone if you're someone who plays with a lot of image conversions. There apparently not many apps in the store which do what PhotoImageConverter does. The only gripe I have with PhotoImageConverter is that it is quite slow in loading times. Please fix that.

Really useful tool, please just mention the in-app price inside PhotoImageConverter , it's not clear when you see it in the menu

Previous problems resolved! Working as advertised. My kudos to the developer. One function requested: an option for PhotoImageConverter to automatically delete the original images upon conversion. I am successfully converting MANY images at one time. But to then manually delete the old images one at a time is a long chore. Please consider for a future update.
