When I began this game I thought this was a pretty fair game. After playing nearly 5000 hands, I am unable to win with winning hands. Just played for 30 minutes and lost with 3 straights, 3 full houses, 2 - 3 of a kinds and 3 flushes. I lost each hand on the river, where they made the complete prayer of a hand for another player. This has been going on for two weeks. There is no way this is random. Will be moving on from this game as it is no fun to lose with winning hands more often than not. Play weekly poker in the real world and I do not see straights, flushes and 3 of a kinds beat by full houses all in one hand. Statistically impossible, yet happens to me most hands. Just a joke and bad for the game of poker.

Can you show me in the description of your game where it says play with bots that know what cards are coming out. I’ve looked but don’t see it anywhere. Just wondering if one of your updates will remove them or if you’ll continue on with this pathetic attempt ? If you can’t get enough real players to play on your app remove it. You have yet to answer my question about the bots being in the description of your game. A simple yes they are in there and we will update our description or you can lie and say that there are no bots in your game. It’s a pretty simple question

This review is not written in anger at all, I’ve been playing Texas Hold’em for many many many years and some of the Cards that comes up is just unheard of.
On a regular basis you will seem to have a really strong hand on the flip that seems unlikely to lose and with a real good bet it seems you got someone willing to bet against you. Now comes the interesting part, the next card may make your had even stronger so you bet even bigger and you get called, now for the river card, which just happened to be a card that fills in the inside straight for your opponent that happens a lot.
I got beat. I’m two hands back to back with my opponent was able to draw trip 9’s both times and had exactly the same 3 nines in both times. Figure them odds of that happening.
Bottom line is this poker app is set up to lure you into playing hands until the river comes out and you will lose just about every time.
Good luck if you try. Luck has no place in OctroPokerTexasHoldemGames.

OctroPokerTexasHoldemGames states that it’s a certified “Random Number Generator”, but after you begin playing it you realize that this is far from the truth. I play poker in real life several times a week and the percentages of straights, flushes, and full houses are so unrealistic. Also during game play I’ve had discussions with other players stating that they only begin to win when they buy chips. I also believe that OctroPokerTexasHoldemGames has an algorithm that purposely baits you into betting big….I cannot tell you how many times I have flopped a straight or flush, bet large, and have someone call who has nothing but ends up winning on the turn and or river. And lastly, the customer support is none existent….I was at a table with nearly $100 million in chips, and after I left the table the chips did not transfer to my bankroll. Contacted customer support several times with no answer. So not only is OctroPokerTexasHoldemGames rigged, OctroPokerTexasHoldemGames steals from you!!!

This game is bull. I just lost 3 good hands to the same player. They sucked out on the river 3 times. You can say what you want but that don’t happen 3 times much less 3 times in a row. I don’t know why you can’t shuffle cards and deal them. Instead you deal out set hands to get people to go in to lose chips. Example you have a strong pair k spade k club flop comes k heart 6 diamond Q diamonds turn another diamond you know your still boss he’s not raising you go all in what you think the river is when they call you with nothing that’s right diamond. You loss to a flush. It happens all the time. That’s why I deleted your game. Will someone, anyone just put out a straight forward game and leave it alone and then people would buy chips. Sure you have bad beats but this is ridiculous. Bye I’m out.

Play money poker is not poker. It’s bingo. All play money poker is awful so I guess OctroPokerTexasHoldemGames is no worse than others. Play money poker rewards sociopathy. People play bad on purpose and create a toxic game. Because of randomness they win ultimately because no matter how smart you play, you will get a great hand and justifiabley call their constant all-ins. You’ll win one or two of those but it only takes the one bad beat against a hand that never should have been played and now you’re out of chips…and the developer thinks you’re gonna jump back in, start over from zero only to have it happen again and again? I’d prefer a deck 7-Ace so I don’t get beat by 2-7. There’s only 5 people at a table (10 cards) and 5 community cards. 7-Ace is 32 cards. More than half the deck unused.

If I could give OctroPokerTexasHoldemGames negative stars, I would. I started playing with the free money they give you when you open an account and I literally WON 95% of the time. NOT EXAGGERATING! Then I actually got up to $20 which is the minimum you can cash out so I did everything it said I needed to and to my SHOCK it actually worked. I cashed out using PayPal and it was surprisingly fast, like two days. But after that and many many deposits later, now I LOSE literally 95% of the time. I wish I was EXAGGERATING but I’m not. They lure you in when you first start playing and then rob you blind. But hey if you don’t believe me, open an account and see for yourself but I’m telling the moment you realize it doesn’t matter how good of a hand you have you’re going to be beat with a superior hand right above it. If you have a pair, you will lose to two pair, if you have two pair, you will lose to three of a kind, if you have three of a kind, you will lose to a straight, if you have a straight, you will lose to a flush, if you have a flush you will lose to a full house, if you have a full house, you will lose to four of a kind, if you have four of a kind, you will lose to a straight flush, if you have a straight Flush and I’m not making this up, I’ve had been beaten many times on this website by a ROYAL FLUSH! All my years of playing poker I have never in my life seen more royal flushes than on this website, and I’m always on the wrong end of them.

I performed multiple experiments with spending $10 and not spending money. If I spent money I caught cards. It is a simple as that. This is not real poker. I went two weeks without spending money and I consistently started loosing spin and win 3 man tournaments when I had the winning hand all the way up to the river. When I did not spend money prior to those hands I lost 9/10 hand while having the highest hand with multiple bail outs. If I spent money prior to those hands I consistently caught what I needed on the flop.
After I spent money I reached $200 million in chips from earnings. Then I stopped spending money, played the same poker and it dwindled to $5 million in chips. They have an algorithm to give cards to those who spend. It ain’t poker y’all!

I cannot possibly see how so many people can think that OctroPokerTexasHoldemGames is the bomb. I have played thousands of hands, and if I could document them as they occurred, half of those hands would involve the most ridiculous bad beats. The situations are so numerous that OctroPokerTexasHoldemGames developers must be that talented to figure out how to drain your chips with out of sight probabilities in those bad beats. If you’re gullible enough to believe the hands as dealt, you’ll just keep buying chips in the hope you can move up levels. Sorry pal, it ain’t happenin’. Think just for a minute what these scam artists are making per player on a game where YOU CAN’T POSSIBLY WIN ANYTHING! I hope the developers have the balls to publish this. Maybe they’re descendants of PT Barnum.

Playing blackjack in 12 hands there were 7 blackjacks. The dealer got 5 blackjacks, a player got one and I got one. In the first 4 hands the dealer got 3 blackjacks. What are the odds? I have played in casinos all over the country and I have NEVER seen a dealer get that many blackjacks in so few hands. You know why? This game is rigged. It allows you to win 99% of the time and then you lose 99% of the time. My first 8 hands of poker 6 hands were pairs. I played dozens of hands and not once did I ever get two face cards. NEVER! What are those odds?You guys don’t even hide the fact that the game is rigged. You openly show it. Don’t play this game. There’s nothing fair or right about this one

The game just sat there loading. If the thing is too big and too robust, no user is going to wait all day for it to start! I wanted to play a game...instead I am watching a progress bar wasting my time and listening to bad midi beatnik jazz. I deleted it. This was a sad app and a bad experience with the brand. That is my takeaway of this one.

Update...I should have read other reviews before posting this one. The "developer response is ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT! Blame RNG for everything. Or someone else supports that. But never once owning up for a garbage app!

Gotta have some character! I removed a star for this. I was just disappointed for OctroPokerTexasHoldemGames wasting my time. Now I am angry that these responses are so defensive and childish.

The interface gets 5 stars from me, but -8 stars for FairPlay. Love playing but getting so tired of the bad beats. I play mostly Sit & Go games, at the 10 million entry level. Rarely are there any humans in these games, no chatting, no reactions. Plus, they only have less than $100,000 in their accounts, so you know they aren’t playing in a $10 million game. Every once in a while, a real person shows up, with a proper bankroll and lo and behold, they can chat with me! Bad beats: I’ve been rivered so much I am drowning. Had AK off, hit A-J-10 on the flop, bet a lot, got called by 8-4 off and turn was the 8 and river was the 4. Happens all the time. Two-pair never, I mean never wins. Always beat out by a flush or straight on the river. BTW, this is the 3rd time I’ve tried to leave a review like this, but it never shows up.

It’s a fun game to play. However, they keep adding additional games and you have to be careful because as soon as you click on something to “learn more”, you might find yourself automatically being charged out of your chips for a game you didn’t want to play and just wanted to look at. I have lost nearly $1 billion in chips because of this. Yes, that is billion. A person should have to confirm whether they want to join a game or not, before any chips are automatically applied to the game or removed from your chip balance.

And the slots keep changing and they have now taken reduced the free games per day from 3 to 1.

Makes no sense why they would penalize folks on both these items.

So if it is completely random deals why do you have a tip “Don’t Limp. Limpers get punished” what the actual ffff? When players tie, When does your algorithm take the second card in hand into consideration? There seems to be no set rule? It usually is not to my advantage. Or accurate. I have had the winning hand and not won. Like I’ve had the winning hand by a big margin, but the other player is declared winner. Please fix that. Also when two players split a pile, it’s common that I do not get my payout. I’ve also seen it go to neither player. Both stunned. Why do I lose my chair bonuses that I’ve obtained every time I want to go back to the lobby? Sometimes I just want to switch up the level I’m playing or my avatar. For that I lose my bonuses?? Sometimes I need to eat, lol. I’m also not some who can sit and play for more than an hour. So lose them every time I have to leave the tables. If I can’t level up, I’m not going to want to play. Don’t make it so hard that people don’t want to play.

Update: yeah it might be fun IF OctroPokerTexasHoldemGames didn’t crash all the time. IF I didn’t lose my hand and option to rejoin the Spin tournament because of the crash. I used to spend money on this game, but not anymore the other poker games are much more stable. I see less and less players here, they must have figured it out too. And there’s no chat or in-app help. I’m changing my rating from a 3 to a 1. Too bad.

I like OctroPokerTexasHoldemGames more than others I’ve tried… except for the fact that every now and then their programming is off and incorrect hands are given the win.
After having this happen a couple of times I sent an email to their support contact. Received a response that “cards are felt at random”, assuring me my luck would change and I’d have a good run… completely dismissing the issue I was calling out.
OctroPokerTexasHoldemGames also freezes often and I have to delete and re-download it to reset and play.

The video advert is what the game SHOULD look like. The video advert looks great and would easily rise to the top. However, the normal interface seems dated and limited and not really immersive. Thats one thing that will make a newer poker game soar. A truly immersive realistic 3D game.

The game play doesn’t seem random and doesn't feel like there are real players.

The developers seem to listen and have a great response to users, so hopefully they revamp the game to look like its video advert. That would be awesome. Devs: Make a game like PKR. If you dont know that poker game, look up PKR poker and make a game like that and you will create a huge poker community that weve been missing online for quite some time.

When playing slots the other evening my couter said I won 500 billion coins. When I went back to “home” these winnings diaspeared. When I complained they responded I had only won 50 billion. I have no way to prove otherwise but in this discussion they sent me notice that I had won coins via “mystery quest”. I have never received these. When I inquired they quit responding.

Manipulation of game play for whales and way to many glitches during critical play which is suspicious! You have repetitive deals with exact inline exact flops????? Your RNG is squirrelly at best. I played over 50k hands and was 1st in my league, so I’m an experienced player and it ultimately feels programmed depending on humans vs bots who probably know everyone’s cards and win regardless of your cards. I’ve noticed opponent’s bet like they know outcome.I have learned here and that you favor buyers—see you later and cheating never pays…….

I love this and probably spend too much time playing it - which doesn’t bother me in the slightest. I’ve had a couple issues bothering me about the game lately. 1st, I see people sit out for a hand or two and I can’t figure out how to do that. I wish that was easier to access. 2nd, when I went to OctroPokerTexasHoldemGames recently I see none of the opponents, just chairs and their hands if they show them. I hope this is a simple bug fix issue. Other than that, thank you to the creators. Absolutely terrific fun playing this game.

Your latest update has major issues. I can’t even get to the games. Just get a white blank screen. I hope this gets fixed soon and my bank is still there as I have dumped over 60 dollars in buying chips. Please fix this error as soon as possible this is my favorite pass time playing this game.
