So I’ve been playing this game for years and a it has gotten worse sense the new company took over. Yes the game it self has been improved visually and user friendly but they miss the mark on others big time. All new superstars are way over powered compared to the older ones. You spend the time upgrading a star and then they release a new one and there just as strong. it’s not very fun anymore when u only get 3 turns and then u lose because they hit u and take half you life in one turn. They have also given the computer players buffs that make even normal mode a pain. The new showdown still has the same match making problem as before by having it done by league level instead of team total power. If I’m at 48k I should not be seeing 50k plus in my choose section. You get rewarded for spending money like most games but like most the more u play the less you win. Funny that games like this use a computer program that penalizes you the long/hours u play. In other words it’s just plain boring now but if u got the money to waste every month to get the new guys then you’ll have fun and this game is for you. You’ve done 3 or 4 updates this month and the game is running worse then before I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and game still freezing over and over. To much move images makes game run slow. I don’t know what bugs you so called fixed but there are way more now.

I played this game for almost a year and spent over $1k to advance my progress. One day the game began to freeze on start screen. I contacted Scopely support who told me to update the game and restart my device. I did this and it didn’t help. Contacted support every other day for 2 weeks and was told to do the same. Eventually they told me to delete and reinstall the game. Never did they say to make sure to copy all my stats (faction name - case sensitive, level, level of my most advanced wrestler and a few others). When I reinstalled the game I had lost everything even though I was signed in to the same gamecenter account!!!!!!!! I contacted Scopely and they told me I needed all the info above to reinstate my account. I didn’t have ALL the info so they wouldn’t help despite the fact that I provided the details and screenshots of over $1k in purchases related to that same account. I also provided the details of the weekly $2.99 premium subscription charges that they continued to process throughout the 6 weeks that this dragged on but they said that wasn’t good enough. I don’t know how iTunes lets this game remain in WWEChampions Store when there are so many similar complaints! At the end of the day I still do not have access to the account that is linked to MY Apple ID which I spent a ton of time and money on.

I will admit this game is fine. Quite frankly it’s really fun. However the absurd amount of advertisements shoved in your face during the games start up and in between matches our infuriating. Luke boxes are a joke they continue to reward less valuable items every week they are pointless. The developers are very clever and designing a game that lead you to believe that if you purchase loot crates and other real money items you will get the Ressler you want. I have stopped wasting my money on this game and will never spend another dollar on this game. You will never get the wrestler you think you’re going to get. I’ve played this game for over two years - not once has an advertised real money purchased loot crate delivered what it led you to believe. This is clearly gambling and or a game of chance and I hope there is a regulation that looks into their practices. I cannot tell you the hundreds of dollars I’ve wasted before finally realizing I’m a sucker. Do not waste your money while playing the game. Just play and have fun and the more of us that stop buying things might actually improve the experience. The game also glitches in bugs every single day. As they continue to lower the rewards you earn in matches the ones you do urn never show up. Do not waste real money in this game ever do yourself a favor.

Don't believe the rating, read the reviews. Is this game fun? Yes at first, but then you realize if you want top guys/trainers you have to either spend hundreds, even thousands of dollars or play for at least over a year or more and grind it out every day. I know people that have spend over $1000 to try and get a certain wrestler and not get him! So here is an example; you can spend $100 in real money to "pull" for a top guy, but it's not a guarantee that you will get him or even any new wrestlers, most of the time you get duplicates of wrestlers you already own and do not use. The chances of getting the featured wrestler you want is 0.03%. Take a good look at that number! You have better odds playing the lottery! The game is ALWAYS full of bugs and glitches. When they release new content 100% of the time something does not work right. Also, when you contact support because you spent real money on the game and the game does not work correctly and you lose prizes, their support team just responds with, "Thank you for writing us, we are sorry you had this issue. Rest assured that our team is looking into it." There is no compensation for the money you spent! Terrible customer service. They are making money and do not care what happened to you at all.

This update is worse than the last. I completely lost my account after spending about $1,200 in the last 3 weeks because I was enjoying the game. Customer support is a robot chat that they email you about 3 hours later because who has time to wait for a reply in a chat with a robot. I’ll be speaking with Apple about this, and the BBB. Then, I’m calling my bank(have everything screenshot), and let them know they’re not doing anything about the rewards from the event purchases I lost, and then my account just magically disappears?!?! Too convenient…I am WMPQxHitman, and you have my information. Fix this, or I will be made whole again. I will be refunded for these purchases, as you have done nothing to resolve the matter. Plus, I want every loot I missed out on. Not some, but for the trouble I’ve been through, I want every single one, and I want the mega rare…not trash throwaway cards. I feel after the money I’ve spent, the time I’ve invested, and now the trouble I’ve incurred; I definitely deserve it.

I have played this game for 486 consecutive days. I have spent money on this game here in there to try to improve my roster or to help my faction out. But as soon as I started having trouble seeing offers in the game I wrote into the company thinking they would care or try to fix it but it’s been over six months and still they have not fixed the problem for me. I have missed out on many weekly rewards special prizes and leader board rewards because I was not able to participate. When I write into the company all they can say is we will bring this up to our team thank you. They do nothing to show appreciation for my individual patience or for the difficulties I am encountering. They will come up with a player appreciation event that everyone will benefit. but not everybody had a problem in the game so everyone gets more rewards and because my roster is not as powerful I cannot obtain their awards given out because you have to win a match against wrestlers that are impossible to beat. Because I spent so much money on this game already I have no other option but to play it.

This game is so bad I don’t even know where to start. First off let’s start with an obvious one....the rigged gem boards. Alright so I’m in a match I’m about to beat him and he’s a two Star bronze guy and I’m a three star bronze guy and he does a combo worth 33 thousand! I literally couldn’t believe it, and that wasn’t the only instance that occurred, one time I was playing a match I was trying to beat on the road and I kept on trying to beat it and my Arn Anderson had all of his purple and red moves lit, if you play the game you know why that’s a big deal, and it’s his turn and he just does a combo that puts me in danger and the stupidest part is that it was a huge combo... and he still didn’t pin me! I was in danger and all he had to do was do one gem break and I lost. Not just that but I’ve been playing this game since it first came out and i find the home screen to be very confusing, the old screen I got used to really fast, but this one is just straight up stupid! Especially for new users. I highly recommend to play another game that interests you. I would rather play Roblox Fortnite than play this garbage game for another minute.

Well this game has been out for quite some time. Now I understand the idea of making money off a free to download game. However for what they offer in this game is very little and I’m not speaking on the currencies or how much there is to buy. If you want a fun free-to-play WWE game on app this could be it if they actually would add in a lot more events, change the rate of coins needed to be used in leveling up characters, drop/summon rates of characters need to be fixed and balanced because you are rarely going to summon anything more then a bronze 2 star without overly paying for it. Coins could certainly be easier to obtain, Cash could be slightly more abundant. Maybe even tone down how quickly opponents ramp up in overall score. The difficulty is fine but how quickly it goes from zero to sixty is unpleasant and unless you’ve spent a year to a year and a half or over $1,000 then you aren’t going to be able to go much of anywhere. So ultimately it needs a lot of fixing in the F2P aspect and even the money aspect. It’s like gambling in a casino fully organized by the mob and if you want to obtain anything prepare to be beaten half to death with Louisville sluggers.

I have loyally played this game for years and have sunk hundreds of dollars looking to advance and compete. I was ok with that being the working order of it but issues recently now have me telling you to stay far away from this game. This game is so glitchy and full of bugs that I personally spent 60 dollars at the end of March and am now in the middle of May with nothing to show but a trail of two sentence customer service emails to preach patience. They have held on to my money for so long that I’m now seeking legal advice on how to continue.

Furthermore, this past weekend was a site wide “feud” competition where you layers where unable to compete due to glitches in the game and the highly coveted loot that many we’re playing for were given to only a handful of players that spend thousands in the game; Leaving many who did spend money to try and advance high and dry with little compensation.

Again, this WAS a fun game but has now become a grift and I suggest you put your time and money in games by other developers than this one. If you do download, be prepared to deal with the above.

I’ve been playin this game for well over 2 years and have spent more than enough money and don’t feel any further ahead than when I started! Initially there were tons of things to do and with minimal spending required, now there is minimal gain even when maximal money is spent! Oh m to add insult to injury, I just made severe purchases and got a lot of purchase failures, but I still got charged! So that means I spent over 400 dollars with nothing to show for it!!! I feel like I spend most of my time looking at unattainable characters, when there are newer people to the game pulling extravagant prizes, it’s unreal! There is absolutely no balance to money spent and your actual return on investment! And this needs to change. If I see these types of changes, where the consumer actually benefits from what he/she spends, I would def give a 4 star rating. But even that would not make up for the time and money I’ve wasted playing this game with no real benefit. So I guess I’ll have to be satisfied with my 3-4 star champions at low levels simply because I can’t obtain tokens or TP efficiently enough to progress in the game! This game has some serious balancing issues that need resolved ASAP!

I’ve put a good amount of money into this game. Into upgrading the superstars that I have and trying to get new superstars. I’ve tried to get a Stone Cold Steve Austin multiple times and everytime I get a multiple of Roman Reigns or Cesaro or a Superstar I don’t want. It’s honestly annoying and I don’t want to play this game. Now we have the Women in the game and it’s great and all and they have a new loot pack where you can get Alexa Bliss, Natalya, Paige, and Nia Jax. But here’s the catch that is the only four you can get right now but you can get other WWE Superstars like...Roman Reigns and Cesaro. I mean seriously guys if you want to promote the Women’s Evolution in the game A: have more women ready. I mean where’s Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey, Sasha Banks, Bayley and the rest. B: don’t put male superstars in your women’s loot pack. I was looking forward to playing this game again with the women here but the way you’re going about this makes me want to uninstall it and not waste my time or money on the game. By the way your VIP thing is a complete rip off. First of all $3 a week? Seriously?! At least make a monthly plan. Raise the price a little I understand that but make it monthly. Just makes more sense.

I give this game two stars because it is a fun game with many nice features. With that being said be careful because this game is a greedy cash grab by a developer that will always give you a politically correct response to why they can’t help you. This organization has the worst customer service I have ever seen and I’m surprised that WWE lets them continue to screw over the fans and keep their name on the product. Don’t think you will build up or get anyone of value without spending an excessive amount of money. If anything ever happens to your account or you lose anything then understand that they will go out of their way to ignore you and blow you off. It has happened to me multiple times and never have they cared. Just understand all this going in. It’s a very buggy game with countless issues that never seem to get fixed, but they are fine with that as long as people continue to spend money. Understand all this going in and your fine. Also, there is no point in telling me to contact you scopely because I’ve done that time and time again with nothing but more frustration so don’t waste your time or mine. Thanks

I originally enjoyed this game and rated it hi but I'm now at a point I'm ready to just delete it I keep getting cards to players I already had and should of already been able to evolved them I would spend money on the game but I'm in a faction that I often hear how they never get any of the stuff they spend the money for so why bother it's nice you keep adding things but from those I've noticed that can get them figured out they just glitch on them and freeze up making them have to exit the game and restart it's like you create more problems then you fix I would like to continue to enjoy they game here's some ideas let us choose the cards we get for characters I have several tours I can't finish because I can't get the player needed to continue instead of adding this outfit crap for characters since it seems to be full of bugs fix the bugs that already exists in like the faction feuds make it to where it's to where we can get the things needed to evolve the characters I don't know how many of my characters that need just one thing but I rarely ever see as anything I can win

Any game that’s been around this long should have no where the amount of bugs and glitches that it has. Game crashes way to much and developers can’t seem to figure out why so they send you out 5 to 10 health packs as compensation even though it it takes around 35 to fully heal the character. Recent after opening the game I need to immediately close and restart WWEChampions because it freezes. This has gone on for 2 weeks straight. The home button mysteriously disappears when reviewing your roster, checking loot or going to the store so you have to restart the game. This has been a problem since the games initial release. Developers cant or won’t make the fix, but they can come out with new superstars and cash purchase items multiple times per week.

Customer service is dreadful. They know one phase, “sry but we can’t help you”. I’m not even sure they read you complaint. They hand you off to 3 or 4 different people for the same dispute. And it takes upward of 2 week just to find out they will do nothing to help you, even if you have undeniable proof you are in the right. Worse then pulling teeth.

Ive been playing this game for a year and a half, and can honestly say that the game has gotten worse and worse with every day on multiple levels.
1. Although you can play and have fun f2p, its a very much p2p game if you want to attain the new top characters released every month. Characters have only become harder and more expensive to attain.
2. Constant game play glitches and errors. With every new release of an event, there are game play issues like clockwork. Things that Scopely does not make a priority because it does not affect their bottom line. Dont expect support to be helpful, youll just get the run around.
3. When things do affect Scopely’s bottom line, they will fix and repair the issues within moments. They also reserve the right to be totalitarian in their power to remove characters and revert gameplay that benefit the community and adversely affect them.
If youre looking to casually break gems and have fun with some of the current superstars and freebie characters. Have at it. However, if youre looking for a game to have some nostalgic moments with. To collect some of the classic characters and use them. As well as join one of the top factions, expect to pay for it.

I really enjoyed the game & had 335 days straight playing but when I got a new phone & got WWEChampions again I lost all my info. I logged back in with my FB account but it did not sync up & made me start all over again & I lost all my superstars, cash & coins. I contacted tech support & provided them with my user name & ID but they could not find my account, I also gave them my coin & cash amounts & sent pics of my info on my old phone but still no luck finding it. Basically they could fix the problem because they couldn’t find the account no matter how much info I sent them & I will have to start all over, this was frustrating because I had 29 superstars & had built most of them up with MAX moves & Fused some up to the next level. In my disappointment I decided to delete WWEChampions instead playing again because if all the hard work I put in can be taken that easily then it is not worth my time to keep playing especially if the tech support did nothing to help fix my problem

I got this game initially because my young son and I thought we could play against each other. Kept game anyway so he and I could keep track of each other’s characters, prizes, contests, etc. The bundle packs and other items in the store advertise 3-star and 4-star wrestlers as possible prizes, but you NEVER GET THEM. It’s always a player card for shards that I don’t need or don’t have, or it’s a 2-star. Most recently, the game is hesitating and freezing and, eventually, bounces me out of the game altogether. I thought it might be my device, but I have just received a brand new device and it’s still doing it. I’m wondering if this game just shouldn’t be played on an iPad. It’s very frustrating because it is always when I’m using my higher numbered wrestlers and I end up having to use multiple health packs to bring them back to play. I now have two higher starred wrestlers, but I can’t level them up because of the amount of coins needed. I would have to buy a bundle to obtain enough coins. It’s just starting to get a bit expensive.

This is a good game m, and great potential, But the DEVELOPERS never update it like they should, There is many issues that shouldn’t be, or should BE easily fixed with an update, The Online access with Boss Battle is the WORST ONLINE MATCH MAKING EXPERIENCE IVE EVER PLAYED. It makes NO SENSE I spend hours on and off trying to play this event, and cannot for whatever reason, they have not fixed this, it’s the same issue every time the boss battle comes around. There is other issues as well. I would recommend this game for playing, because it is fun, but it is very frustrating as well. I don’t think everyone has this issue, I do know a lot that does though. I’ve tried everything possible to eliminate the issue to no Avail. SCOPELY YOU REALLY NEED TO FIX THE ISSUE WITH THE BISS BATTLE EVENT. This is UNACCEPTABLE.. Wasting Hours Of My Time Every Boss Event Trying To Play It. Do an update or something. This has been an issue since it’s started. DO YOUR PART ON YOUR END PLEASE. Or I will drop the star to 2 because our time is more valuable then this.

This fails to provide a good user end experience because of the puzzle algorithm. Looking st stats of your opponent you'll see the game starts often providing the AI with more of a chance to make large damage moves after your first move. It's a wag to coax you into the micro transaction. If this isn't a slot machine style programmed game, I don't know what is. It's sad. It COULD BE a great fun game, but I'm so busy paying attention to the puzzles that I don't even get to the arbitrary action. This review will probably fall on Def ears or get deleted by Apple as many of my reviews do, but I played the game for a few days and yeah, I progressed in the "story", whatever that means, but it STOPPED being fun and like many of these types of games, became work. Think I'll play something else. So dad too. I loved wrestling as a kid and you could EASILY have my money, if the game was good. But it isn't. We're savvy buyers now, your soap opera characters beating in each other, alone, just doesn't cut it anymore.

I think one of the most annoying parts of this game is when your wrestler automatically pins someone.......I think you should have the choice whether to pin or use another move. I have lost countless matches bc my wrestler pins someone with little points......when I could have used my extra turn as you should get when you turn a five block move. But instead of the extra move.....you pin the opponent and lose that extra turn. Which now it becomes their turn and it turns the tide of the match which should be in your favor but now it's not. You aren't rewarded for getting five blocks in a row but affected negatively which a lot of times loses you the match bc you lose the extra turn you earned. I believe the auto pin should be eliminated and you should give the player the option to pin the opponent or use his/her extra turn accordingly. That is the most frustrating parts of the game to me. I have literally stopped playing bc of that one issue.
