WiFi Connect: Internet & Speed Reviews

I've found WiFiConnect to be a lot of help. I work from home for the most part, but with children and animals and other obligations I have to do a lot of my work on the go. I've been able to accomplish a lot more with ease while I'm waiting for baseball practice to be over, driving carpools and waiting to pick up my kids from one of their many extracurricular activities. WiFiConnect significantly improved the speed of my internet connection and allows me to download/review/edit documents without burning through my data on my mobile plan and becoming costly and less appealing. Downloaded a week ago it was already save my data plan from being stained and it's easy to use is accurate at fountain hotspots in my neighborhood like it is the exes to have the passwords were correct and everything which is few and far between so thank you

Just downloaded WiFiConnect based on all the good reviews I read. It looks like there are a few hotspots by me, looking forward to unlock user access after completing this review and see how it works for me. Though it is a strange requirement to have to complete a review before users are able to try all the functionalities & access all the information provided in WiFiConnect .

I think I had WiFiConnect, for my iPhone, in the past- about 3 years ago, when I was in a less financially secure position. At some point, I had to eliminate apps I rarely used, so I let this one go. I'm going to try it for my iPad- I didn't have an iPad before-and see if I can get away with not having to add my iPad to my wireless account.... I will review again after a "trial period"! 😉

Download to my iPhone 6 & iPad Pro both running the current version of iOS (10.3.1) as of the date of this review. In short, it didn't work at all on either device. It showed zero "0" WiFi availability, in my present location, even though I know that there are dozens available in the surrounding area!

Based on my experience with WiFiConnect, I can't recommend it to others. In short, look elsewhere for your WiFi locator needs.

So I was able to download WiFiConnect easily on my iPhone using my data plan. It showed me a number of hotspots around me in Santa Barbara. But requires a review before I can actually use the information. So here it is… WiFiConnect downloaded very well.
UPDATE: been driving around for an hour trying to access each Wi-Fi spot shown on the map. I have yet to gain access to a single one. App is misleading & completely useless.

I tried WiFiConnect and found three wifi close to me and one had a password with it even though it was a locked wifi.

I just opened WiFiConnect for the first time and wasn't sure how to use it. Could be more simple to use, but I'm not saying it's hard to use. I just like opening apps that have all information in front of me. I don't have time to waste figuring out how apps and most other things in my life work. It's a waste of time.

A great app to have on all your mobile units. Gives you a free map of all locations, public, business, etc. some passwords are even provided, free for you to use and connect to the internet. Try it, it's free!!

I just downloaded and had some luck finding one in my area. Hope to get full access now after writing review, as that's what it calls for.

Hopefully this will work and keep me from paying and Internet bill for Internet service that never worked!

I'm writing a review to unlock WiFiConnect just like everyone else. But it doesn't seem to work. So the 5 stars is not right, just trying to humor WiFiConnect into working. Will try again.

It looked like a great app and reviews were great despite being a little old.. I still can’t figure out how to work it though. So trying to leave this review as some of previous reviewers mentioned

I’ve tried using it a few times to find options for a place to work. Sometimes, I’m able to figure out Panera or another store, but it’s also listing WiFi from private residences and from places I cannot find. It asked me for a review to unlock passwords, but I’m fairly confident this review will not unlock anything.

I have read good reviews about WiFiConnect but think it is strange you need to write a review before getting full access to WiFiConnect .

Pretty stupid to think you can review an app in order to see if it even works! Since I have no idea if it functions I will have to give it a mediocre review. It appears to have no help system but perhaps that will show up after it is reviewed.

I base my rating on the premise that WiFiConnect would be cool if it works, it's sketchy that I won't know if it does until after I rate it. If it does work well, I will happily come back and improve my rating. If it doesn't, I will grudgingly come back, pretty peeved, and give one star.

Need to see where wifi hot spots are to use my iPad phone......
