The design and usefulness of IowaPublicRadioApp has grown substantially since it was released. However, they seem unable to fix an issue with the streams rebuffering about every 30 seconds. It’s worst with the live stream. It’s extremely annoying, and I have to use an older iPad with an older version of IowaPublicRadioApp at this time. If this issue could be fixed, IowaPublicRadioApp would be just about perfect.

Love the content what I want to hear on my schedule . However, Listening live really annoying I experience a rebuffering pause about every half hour Please bring stability to the live stream.
This happens across my devices and while other apps function on WiFi smoothly.
Still a problem on multiple Wi fi and multiple devices.

I drive for work so when I am in areas of Iowa, that do not have radio reception for classical music I have been waiting for the ability to stream the programming. Thank you, IPR!

Additional articles on news and arts are appreciated. Slow to load, though. Everytime requires an ad/preview, then connect to the
stream. IPR stands tallest among
upper midwest public stations.

Got tired of listening to national news podcasts and not keeping up with what’s going on in our own state. I am thankful for IowaPublicRadioApp with on-demand programming that I can pick up and go through specific topics without getting all the rest!!!

Always have loved NPR & IPR! IowaPublicRadioApp /website a little difficult to navigate when it comes to trying to find the days show schedule or when trying to find a broadcast that couldn’t be finished live or trying to find who was being interviewed etc.
But over all love it!

I listen nearly every morning, but work gets in the way of hearing all the stories I’d like, so IowaPublicRadioApp fills that gap. I even find things I didn’t know I was looking for.

I had problems with listening to Sunday Baroque streaming online and IowaPublicRadioApp solved the issue. It’s easy to use.

There are various moments where I drive to different places. I need the access to GPS and would like to listen to NPR while doing so. IowaPublicRadioApp gives me that and much more! So grateful!

News I can trust-with content that is trustworthy-even if I dislike knowing about something—the facts are there. I can make up my own mind!! I also enjoy the variety of music much of which I wouldn’t find on my own. Access to international platforms also gives balance to our domestic editorials. Keep it up!

I can just click and listen very clearly, short loading times, no problems! No adds in the way. Donate link is large and obvious but not annoying. Fantastic app :)

Have only used it a couple of times. Listened to a Talk of Iowa that I missed and it was just like listening to the show live on the radio. I used my iPad. Have not tried it on my phone but plan tol soon.

We stream IPR just about every day and it works very well with our iPhones and mini pods. We enjoy both news and contemporary music programming. IowaPublicRadioApp is easy to use and reliable! Highly recommend this listening experience.

For those of us that are the Iowa diaspora, this is a great app to keep you in touch with the Hawkeye state.

It allows you to stream either classical music, Iowa news and the arts.

I’ve listened to it all over the United States, Great Britain, Australia and Hong Kong without a problem.

I downloaded IowaPublicRadioApp when looking for alternate news sources. Corporate news media is not providing in depth reporting. Only what the donors allow. Good to have public radio and television.

I appreciate IowaPublicRadioApp so much. I listen often while doing things around the house. I recently spent a month in Arizona and I tuned in every day to hear the local news, local programming, and my favorite NPR shows.

The listen live setting should be far easier to access. I use IowaPublicRadioApp for when I get out of my car I can seamlessly listen as I get out. It just doesn’t always work the best for that

I’ve listened to IPR whenever my parents drove me around town, especially to the switching yard in Iowa City. Trains calmed me down as a child, so IPR associated with that calms me down on my long commutes to teach every day.
