Private Browser Deluxe Reviews

PrivateBrowserDeluxe has a great idea to it. I love how it gives you lots of privacy options and lets you download along with the dark theme, but it is not that stable and has a bad way of showing ads. First of all the user agent does not work at all and also PrivateBrowserDeluxe would often crash when downloading large files. I don’t mind adds and I understand you need them for money, but having them persistently stay on the screen and block other content is just annoying and ruins the experience. With some changes and bug fixes this would definitely be my go-to browser

PrivateBrowserDeluxe works very well and runs well. PrivateBrowserDeluxe can come in handy for Christmas Shopping or Birthday Shopping because you can have it set up where it NEVER saves your history. I would highly recommend PrivateBrowserDeluxe to everyone it will help lots in the long run. You will never have to worry about your kids or
anyone sneaking and checking the history
to see what's been searched or purchased. If your using someone's phone and you don't want them to know what your doing have them download PrivateBrowserDeluxe so they won't know what you did or just to be extra safe
delete PrivateBrowserDeluxe once your done with there phone. I use PrivateBrowserDeluxe for Online Shopping personally. This would be the perfect App for Online Shoppers and
Shopaholics LOL. I wasn't recommended PrivateBrowserDeluxe I just came across it one day on PrivateBrowserDeluxe Store and decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did because everything worked out perfectly in the long run. I rated PrivateBrowserDeluxe 5 Stars ***** because well everything I said previously in this post and for future uses. Also in PrivateBrowserDeluxe you can Customize your Settings plus you can add a 4 digit Passcode for when entering PrivateBrowserDeluxe just to be secure and
safe about everything.

I love PrivateBrowserDeluxe DONT get me wrong just need to fix a bug lol since I have a iPhone 11 and I have facial recognition enabled in it when I close PrivateBrowserDeluxe it dose a weird bug where it shows the facial recognition prompt up but then goes away it dose this when I close the and It stops me from opening any other app after closing but it doesn’t soft lock my phone just I have to swipe up again and yeah I know “ oh it’s not that big of a problem” but I have to fight with my phone to swipe up and choose over the apps I have open and I want to close so I would love if they fixed this I have always loved PrivateBrowserDeluxe

The dark UI is nice, it’s simple, and setting it to NOT save browser history and to constantly flush cache is incredibly satisfying. No more eating needless space on my phone, it just does it automatically.

Again but I don’t see that my original review stuck, only complaint is a lack of diverse ad block options, and the other complaint is entirely an Apple problem and not PrivateBrowserDeluxe or developer’s fault: not being able to set it as my app and phone default over crappy safari or chrome.

1. if you create a bookmark folder and save links into it. clicking the resulting bookmark does nothing. If you move that same bookmark to the favorites folder it works again. have been able to reproduce this problem nany times. Need better basic testing, -2 stars.
2. In files, if you have multiple files in the directory, and you have one file open (an image), you cannot just swipe and move through the list if images, you have to exit that file, then select the next one, and repeat each file you want to view. This is a lot of wasted motion for a mobile device. Need common sense UX/UI, -1 point.
* otherwise it seems like a decent app.

Now I’ve had PrivateBrowserDeluxe for about a year and a half and one problem that I’ve always had with it is my screen freezing up. It forces me to either close out of PrivateBrowserDeluxe completely and reopen it or just go to the other single tabs and close and reopen it. I’ve had PrivateBrowserDeluxe on a few different devices and tried it on a few different ones and it’s always done the same thing. I make sure that I have no other tabs open so it’s not lag. But it’s still not difficult to deal with. Besides that PrivateBrowserDeluxe is absolutely amazing

It’s a great app but one thing is if you watching something embarrassing. Example watching my little pony when your 15 and a boy. You can hit the panic button but it won’t stop the audio at all. I was watching something embarrassing ( not my little pony) and my sister and mother walk in. So I press the panic button it stop the website but then the animated cartoon carater are still talking. So then they where like.. wait you watch that stuff that is for babies. So then I embarrassed my self. So it’s ok but it’s just that one glitch. And even when I leave PrivateBrowserDeluxe it still keeps the audio on until I shut PrivateBrowserDeluxe down.

The browser allows you to download things you need on files unlike other browser like safari and google. You could also search private things up and no one would expect it to be on a different browser than the browser that comes with any phone you have. The browser app also has fast loading and no wifi is needed you could use data or not. The browser app is just all around perfect in so many ways that is why I’m rating it 4/5 stars and that is my review on The browser app.

I love PrivateBrowserDeluxe! Since there is an option so it doesn't save your history, I can do what I want without anyone knowing! Like if Im getting a gift for my mom or something, but I want to surprise her, I can use PrivateBrowserDeluxe! And, in the settings, theres a panic button, so you can close what you were doing, without exiting PrivateBrowserDeluxe ! It's genius! But if you were to watch a video, and you press the panic button, its still plays in the background which really annoys me, but I still love it, and I think youll love it too!

This is a great App. I’ve used since the initial launch of App. Only downside is I paid for no ads but when you upgrade to a new iOS Number You have to repurchase it all over. Previous version or past payment for full version no longer applies. Second wish there was a way to add a list of URL or Blocklist to prevent unauthorized or unwanted sites to appear from ads. Great security feature but no encryption. Hope for more support for software in the future.

It started out great, but within the last year and even after updates on both iOS and PrivateBrowserDeluxe itself, it starts to freeze up, lag and make my phone instantly get super hot to the touch on the back. The moment you close it, the phone goes back to normal functionality. Then when you type a search in the address bar, it comes up with Google wanting me to check that I’m not a robot before continuing due to activity it says. It doesn’t matter what you type, everytime I use it to search, it makes me do it and it’s beginning to sketch me out on what is behind all this. Honestly stay away. There’s plenty of others out there.

If it works I will come back and change my review as my star rate if not it will go to 1 star rate and the my minimum is 3 star rate Edit: unfortunately I tried the ad remover and it didn’t work and instead made it worse if not the same than it was. I though it was going to work but it didn’t as the way I expected too but if you not looking for ad blocker but for web site safety you can download PrivateBrowserDeluxe or duck duck go as they both provide with app lock that be open by finger print or passcode but I recommend DuckDuckGo because it does it better thank you I apologize if you think am advertising for DuckDuckGo you can go ahead and remove the review

There are so many private browsers including on your phone pre installed with safari. But the thing I like about PrivateBrowserDeluxe is the Panic Button. Let’s say your browsing an email that is secret and someone walks near you. Quickly tap that red button and the page is removed and goes blank. The only thing I’d say would help is maybe being able to set the panic button to go somewhere. Maybe to a url the user Inputs. But overall pretty great!

Looking for one with a separate pin and separate FaceID settings and this one has it. The ad supported one does get a little annoying, and it also seems to be sharing some ad tracking data between other apps on the device. So not sure how private outside of the device PrivateBrowserDeluxe may be, as disabling the cookie continues to show similar ads.

But aside from that, the local security features seem in the right direction. Maybe the ad-free version completes removes the cookies? Hope so.

Does was it claims to do. Updates have improved it. Try it and you'll be impressed. I like the emergency exit button. I wish I didn’t have re-review to remove ads after every update. This is one thing they could fix, please and thank you! And I repeat the last request for a fix. And again. And again. And again, ditto..., ditto, ditto, again, etc. and again, etc, and so on, and again, and again, and again, ditto, and again. Yup

I will say at the moment it seems pretty good. The settings are straight forward and it's detailed in so many ways that sometimes other apps have lacked. It appears to be functioning at a high level without interruption. I give this a 4.0 for now. I need to set it up how I would like for it to operate and utilize its functionality a bit before I rate it any higher. I would say so far I'm pleased ☺️

I had PrivateBrowserDeluxe for years now, and had to drop a review each time they dropped an update to remove the ads. Now, they want to charge me $20 for a privilege I had just yesterday?! Okay, fine, but that means I get to speak my mind. PrivateBrowserDeluxe gets very buggy the second a keyboard is involved, it will play audio in the background after you closed it, and the download function stopped working sometime in 2019… none of these issues have been addressed, and till they drop the price, or fix these things, I’ll stick to the chrome app.

PrivateBrowserDeluxe is unstable, I get that there are ads that play, very understandable however when they play in the background, freeze up the browser and ultimately cause it to crash it makes it unstable. PrivateBrowserDeluxe also crashes at random when browsing even if an ad doesn’t start playing, it’s really awful. It’s just a browser and there are tons out there that are much better. I only tried PrivateBrowserDeluxe because I liked the login feature when you first open it, but it’s not something that I need and other, more stable, apps have the same feature. I wouldn’t recommend PrivateBrowserDeluxe.

Been looking fir a new browser. I like this one because it is simple but also has functions at my fingertips that i like....clear cache, disable cookies...download file control...where to put the files...creating folders....deleting downloaded files...all of which are either mussing or missing in action (hard to do) in other browsers

I was so sick of Google and Safari; the inability to actually get the search results I want after literally TIRELESSLY trying. Editing search criteria, using quotes, logging out, private browsing—which is a joke—and all the other tips and tricks and still getting the opposite of the results I was looking for. This has been helpful so far and in comparison with the other private browsers it has the ability to open multiple tabs which is a godsend bc I ALWAYS have literally hundreds of tabs open because when I search I open in background to view later. The only downside is the large ads at the bottom of screen that don’t go away EVER. But I can deal with that to get better and not the exact same predictable results. I would prefer an occasional pop up that I could X out or a way to X out the smaller on screen pop out vs paying the $2.99 for no ads. I’m still early into using PrivateBrowserDeluxe and will update accordingly.

Been searching for a newer browser with privacy that also had tabbed browsing. They're not exactly tabbed but multiple pages do open and can be easily flipped back and forth.... still good June 2017
Still good in aug 2017. A bit awk to use note storage feature. Would like a better way sto store things I like
Update nov 2017... acting buggy, locks up when bookmarking

This is almost perfect, I did however notice a bug where if I tried to access or delete a certain folder PrivateBrowserDeluxe would close, I'm not sure if this a result of a corrupted file or a bug in PrivateBrowserDeluxe . I would also like to be able to scroll or rotate through files while viewing them.

I love PrivateBrowserDeluxe because it has privacy and no one can know my passcode to PrivateBrowserDeluxe because I can put a passcode and no one can access PrivateBrowserDeluxe if someone were to look through it so one can see my internet history and private information on what I look up on a daily basis so that’s why I give this five stars!

PrivateBrowserDeluxe was everything I needed. Very simple design and easy to use. The biggest feature for me is the ability to put a lock, so if I give my phone to someone else they can't see my search history. I wish I found PrivateBrowserDeluxe sooner
