Okay, so I just got DearDiary, and so far it’s been pretty entertaining, but a ball? Really? How about Valentine’s Day dance, instead, to make it more realistic? And yet another example of unrealistic things is that Anna is best friends with 2 twins. I am a twin myself, and let me tell you, we don’t have the same friends and neither do any of my friends who are twins! Also, from what I hear from other reviews, some of the events in this game are too inappropriate for 4 year olds! WAY TOO INAPPROPRIATE! So, If you want parents to actually let their little kids play this game, you should really change this!

Also, I think Anna can be kind of stupid sometimes and that makes me angry. I mean, WHY IN THE WORLD WAS ANNA DRAWING A RUDE PICTURE OF HER TEACHER IN CLASS??!!

I loved this game when I first got it. I was sure it would be my favorite game for months! I was excited to play every day (you play with keys and get 1 every five(ish) hours or can watch a ad for one). I whipped through the main 2 stories in about four days, so I played the side stories, which took about 3 more. There were no more stories, but I figured it would update soon, since on the AppStore it said “frequent updates” and had a coming soon button in the game. This was somewhere between April and June of 2021. It is now almost march of 2022, and there hasn’t been the slightest update. I’m guessing the creators of the game scrapped it… but there were no in-game notices… so I’ve been waiting for a year for the stupid update! The game is great.. IF YOU DON’T MIND WAITING YEARS FOR A NEW STORY!

This game is great and creative and all, but there are a few flaws. Now, I'm not saying that this game has to be perfect, I'm just saying that there are a few thing for you to fix in order it to be a "5-Star Game."
1) The grammar is amazing! 😒 No, seriously, the grammar can be better... (That takes away one star!)
2) The keys take way to long! Maybe if you reduce the time, I might have given this a 4-star.
I have a few more concerns, but I don't want to make this a really long review. So, in conclusion, I guess I would recommend this to people. (Only based on what kinda stuff they like, for example, if my friend likes "choose-your-own-path" kinda games, I might recommend this to her!)

This game feels like it's made by a seven year old. Sure, the game is 4+, but the grammar, actions, and thoughts are WAY too unrealistic to be a 15 to 16 year old. Also, it shouldn't be for people THAT young based on some of the subjects it revolves around.. A girl's nudes getting sent to a whole school? Really? I love how you cover up how dark that really is by "oh no! I need to go to the office to say what happened!"and don't fully explain what the pictures are. Also, what I don't like is how you switched up Prom or Homecoming to a Ball. This isn't a castle. In case you can't find unrealistic actions in the story, here's an example: Anna plays truth or dare. If you choose dare, she is told to kiss her friend, Logan. If you say "No" (if you had a boyfriend it would be right, and in my case I did) everyone is like "please" and then you run home, from a camping trip, no car or bus, to cry. You avoid everyone the next school day. I'm pretty sure you can see what's wrong. As you can see in the review section, a 7 year old made a review. Look how similar the way the text to how the story says stuff. Also, no one puts creepy smiley faces or "XD" and "lol" and stuff in their diary. I understand it's fiction, but the fact that the teen acts like they're seven and other teens makes me cringe. Apps that do this make me die inside

I really seem to enjoy this game. I like the feeling that it’s really your diary. I like all the drawing on the dairy too. Also I love how you get to pick your own choices but that’s not completely true because I have Ron into a few problems where I thought that none of the choices would be a choice that I would choose. So I believe that you should let the people playing the game picked their own choices. They should be able to type what they wanted to do. Also I believe that the fact that you have to wait just to read the next entry is stupid or you have to watch a ad or buy it it’s just dumb stupid. You should have forever lasting keys to go to the next entry. Also I think that there should be physical activity of two bodies getting it on in it. It’s so boring. You need something to spice it up. Everything is so predictable. You need to have a way where people can pick their own chooses, have unlimited keys to go to the next entry, and physical activities making it not boring and spicing it up. Plus put a way better twist in it because the twisted that you give us is predictable and not realistic. But overall the game is great.

Okay, so I got this game and I really enjoyed it the first day when they only gave you five keys! You should be able to play it any time anywhere! After that, you could only play once a day

Also, yesterday to me it said eleven hours for the next free key! I checked today again, and it still said eleven hours! I am pretty sure I haven’t been on this game since about at least fourteen hours. It’s really annoying, so keep that in mind.....

On the other hand, when you are able to play it this game is super fun! You were able to chose which way she went, I personally wanted to chose what “seemed” the safest way! I honestly enjoyed this game for the first few days or day. Later it didn’t turn out so well. At least it is free, but with in app purchases. So you can feel free to delete DearDiary whenever you want! But this is only my opinion

Season 3..

I’ve been waiting a month for it to come out but all it says is soon and I’m also waiting for updates for more then just what’s on there like maybe.. Creat ur own choices and diary’s for OTHER players and maybe there could be coins or some kind of money u get from people buying ur diary u could start with.. 1000 coined and u could get 55% of people buying the diary’s u make. Like say some other player made.. a diary about crushes for Anna OR characters I create!! Anyone could bye it though maybe this $0-$500 it be sooooo cool anyone else think? I love the game but it needs more like some other things I’ve thought oflike character creater u can create ur own characters for diary’s u make!! And more chooses the two u give r way to less like if u could (up above) with making ur own diary’s for other players or even ur self could choose 2-4 choices!..

At least add 1 of my ideas plz I would love it!!.

I downloaded a few hours ago but it’s super fun! I just wish you wouldn’t have limited ads cause I wanna play it all the time! It’s awesome cause you can chose Anna’s story! But when you finish the diary 📔 you have another reason to delete the game. May I recommend weekly updates a new diary for another day character 👩🏻‍🦱 (exemple a popular girl who has a perfect life but hates it…?) I dunno. But I definitely recommend. And what about a pets diary. Like a dog or cat and you chose if they want to escape where they want to cuddle…

Okay so I definitely recommend this game its lots of fun 🤩 but there are these suggestions.

Honestly it is a fun game to make the choices for this Anna girl. Something I think you should do is make a side of her best friends Kim and Lexi that way we can see what they think and make a twist to where one of them doesn’t really like her and tries to break her and Rick up because they have a crush on her. I think it should be Kim that would really get viewers excited and want to buy keys for your game and get good reviews. Recently I saw a not so good review...Anyway the only problem I have with the game is that who acts like that in class when your 15 years old and it’s just so weird for little kids above 4 years old I don’t think parents want their five year olds hearing this stuff. That is all.

The game has potential. The choices are fun to make and it is a way to include the reader like a you choose your path book. Now let's get down deeper. When you tap on key it gives you three options. 1-For (around)$3.99 you get five keys to move on to the next days entry. 2- for (I am guessing) $4.99 you get a season pass that removes ads as well. Or you watch a add for a free key. Let me tell you something. You start with three keys. You can watch only 3 ads and you get a free key every day. Is there a real point for the keys? It makes you wait and then it takes forever! I think you can improve on the key thing and as a compliment I think the setup for the diary is just dandy. By: StrawberrySugarPop

I love what a different type of game this is. I am always wanting to read the diary. But that being said, you have to wait ten hours to get more keys to next the page if you don’t pay for them! Also you only get one key every ten hours so you barely get to read it. There is a very small amount text on a page and usually only one choice. I’d be fine with thirty minutes or even an hour of waiting for a single key but not hours upon hours. I think this game is worth getting but you have to be patient to enjoy. I suggest collecting keys till you have very many so that then you can read a lot of the story at once. So that’s why I give this game a four. If not for the keys it would have been a 5.

OMG THIS GAME RULES, hens the title!😂 I love this game and I really recommend it for all girls who are bored and looking for an app to play! It is one of my favorite games beside Covet Fashion, Episode, Choices, and COLOR SWITCH THE ORIGINAL!
However, every game has flaws. And the only things that can be a problem is the amount you have to wait for your keys, which is like 11 hours😡😂💩, that it kicks you out a few times, and that not all the seasons are out! It's kind if like a book series where you have to wait for the next book, or more like a TV show.
But every game has glitches and flaws and this one doesn't have very many! Even though there are downs, there are also ups! And THIS GAME IS AWESOME AND FREE SO GET IT!!!😂😊

Ok so this is my opinion please don’t get mad or upset if you don’t agree

I love this game it’s fun I have always wanted choices but it was inappropriate for me because I’m 10 so when I saw this I thought kid friendly Choices and I love diary games it’s like you get to peak into someone’s life but my problems are

1 you can only do 1 entry a day and when the add keys come they only show up every now and the and you only get 3

2 once you complete a season when you change the destiny you can’t go through it in one day you have to go day by day from when you started it over and then the new season gets locked in till you can complete the season again

My Ideas are you are probably going to be doing this anyway so Logan should either have his own app or more than one diary in the game if he got his own I would download it like how she ends up dating Logan that was sweet I knew the would like each other so when I saw this I was like “CALLED IT!” Back to the ideas, Maybe something where you can see Anna and customize her, her diary , and her room

Again I love this game and if you ever make any other diary games I will download it

So I see hate reviews on why they don’t like it but I’m a teenager and I really love it. If you don’t like it because it’s impractical, then I think you’re missing the point. Books are to help us escape from reality. If you don’t like it because it’s immature, well you knew what you were getting yourself into! I happen to think DearDiary is really great I just wish they’d hurry up with season 3. Don’t get me wrong, I know how long it can take to write a story. But I’ve been waiting for a couple of years actually and it still hasn’t come out. Anyway, I think DearDiary rocks and I love the characters. Especially Logan. ❤️👍🏻💜

I like it but i wish you would not have to wait another day for just one entry I recommend how ever much you want to play you can so PLEASE do it I would really LOVE ❤️ IT PLEASE

I would love it if the girl was super good at school and grades and really cute that would boost the game a lot I would think I know some times you don’t read these but if you read this please do you reccomendations I might have spelled that wrong sorry but it would mean SO MUCH to me plz plz I’m begging you I also wish you could see what they looked like bit would also boost the game

I’ve been using DearDiary for 6 years already. Every time I finish it, I delete it and somehow install it again years later, but where’s season 3?! I really want to continue 😭 also, these are some things that bother me a bit.

1. Season 3 isn’t out even 6 years later

2. When you chose between Rick and the other one (whose name I forgot) you never get a break up scene. Last years, I played the game to see if I could have Rick and Anna keep dating till season 2, but they just forgot about it. I think we need breakups and conversations between them.

3. What happened to the hot teacher and the ugly teacher? We never found more about that!

4. You need keys even after finishing the seasons (this is when I usually delete DearDiary and ignore it for years). If im already done and all chapters are unlocked, I should be able to go back and change some aspects in the story without needing keys (specially if you only give us 3 keys).

5. Logan. He’s always been my favorite love interest, but every time I get DearDiary, there just isn’t much development or scenes between them (making the end game seem rushed even though that’s what i always wanted) so I’d like more “tension” between them.

6. SEASON 3?! I NEED A NEW SEASON!!!

This game is amazing but... I had played all the way through season 2,but then I remade a decision in one of the chapters, what it did is made me go through all the chapters using keys again! But then I still haden't completed for the second time season 1 but it said I was finished with it, but I went to redo season 2 and it said read season 1! So can you please tell me how to fix it. Because I got a season pass for season 2! So if this some kind of scam to make me pay more money, this came is in the trash! And in season one for the second time, it added more chapters for me to read! For instance the chapter about when they make the project for science or humanities, I don’t remember that from the first time. I just want to continue in and figure out what happened to Anna in season three. So if you could please tell me how to fix it I will give a rating instead of 7!

I like it. The story’s can be interesting but having to wait like 11 hours for 1 key?! Insane. I also have played this game before and I didint like how it ended. If your not going to add the “coming soon!” Story, get rid of the “coming soon!” Sign, just gives me false hope. I hate how I have to pay like 4$ for a “season pass”. Overall I just wish they added more dairy chapters since it really isn't a bad game. I would have given 3 stars for my complaints, but I’m trying to give y’all motivation or something, so uh bye!

I finished all of season 1 and season 2, and mini tales all that was left was season 3. Before, when I first got the game DearDiary said season 3: “ Finish season 2 to unlock” , well season 2 said “finish season 1 to unlock”. As soon as I finished all the seasons and tales I went to season 3 and it said “ Coming soon season 3 what future does this hold for Anna “ So... my only question that I have for you is “ When will the next update be?!”... Congratulations, you have another review!

Heyyyyyyyyyy fam it’s me again. I love this story so much but a couple of suggestions 1) perhaps it exists and it doesn’t happen but I can’t make it to where Logan ever ends up with Claire, can we please make this an option? Also on the Logan diary when they say stay in the living room or the pool, it doesn’t really matter as the outcome is pretty much the same. Claire gets the wrong idea and is mad. Can we please make it to where something else happens depending where you choose? Also is it possible to extend the relationship with Rick or Martin in Season 2? Or Have Logan end up being Anna’s partner for the project instead of Kim or Kothe. Each of those would be very interesting developments. Also, I’m heavily looking forward to season three! Please please please give us an update on season three!!! I absolutely love this game and it’s like the only appropriate game of choose your own adventure I can find on DearDiary Store that involves drama and romance etc. You have a special and unique app… It’s different. Utilize it. If it keeps having updates and different story lines, it’ll be a hit. So, please please please update with new material. And thank you for making such an amazing game!!
