Videos do not load nearly as quickly as before. They fixed the issue with being able to zoom and being able to play videos in silent mode. But, overall the loading of videos is so much slower than it used to be. About 3 updates ago, the videos loaded great. Need an update that allows thumbnails and videos to load easier.

I have reached out to Spartan multiple times because of the delay in receiving HD photos and videos. This time 6 hours after request I still have not received the videos.
According to Spartan’s customer service, they need an “event” ie trigger to the camera to FULFILL the request. So for animal rescuers or someone trying to find their lost pet, this delay is potentially life-threatening. They need IMMEDIATE data.
In the case of the above delay, because the camera was accessible to me I went outside and activated it by moving in front of it, and then went back into the house. That seemed to have triggered the download of the video.
However if this trail cam were in the wild and inaccessible to me I would’ve had to wait a long time for the video delivery or HD photo delivery until another event got it triggered again.
How Spartan is programming its system to NOT SEND VIDEOS IMMEDIATELY UPON REQUEST and waiting for another “event” for delivery of services is one reason for the low review. It is certainly not worth the $15 a month I am paying for “service.”

I would give it 5 stars if the notifications could be turned on for some cameras and off for others. Very annoying when you have multiple cameras and only one or two that you really want to be bothered with a notification about. Emailed developer with no reply
