The SHINE project of Delft University of Technology has developed the Social Weather app. In this research we focus on gathering, processing and interpreting data for answering information needs. We will use this information to analyse how people categorize the weather. With SocialWeatherSense we try to collect a lot of information about the weather. You can report weather in three categories: atmosphere, rain and flood. For more information about the project, please visit shine. tudelft. nl. To do this, we will ask you to select a weather category (e. g. clear sky). All the information collected will only be used for research purposes. More weather categories will be added soon.
