Well designed game with good UI, speedy play, and nice perks for paying players.

Unfortunately the actual game play is highly skewed away from statistical accuracy, with card draws favoring the dealer approx 4.5x against player. Since you don’t know exactly the # of decks in shuffle, it’s hard to validate exact weaknesses. But concern was raised when dealer drew to 21 on six out of eight hands, when dealer received four 20s and 3 blackjacks in seven straight hands, and when dealers showing 4-5-6 held card for 11 five times more over 100 hands than they held a face card. As noted, enjoyable game but be prepared to be frustrated by programmatic skew away from real blackjack odds.

From interface and design standpoint I would give Blackjack21 6 stars if I could. And fact that you don’t have to pay for chips or endure onerous ads for them is magnificent. However, the random draws are anything but. This is such an easy thing to get right that it is inexcusable in a game like this. If you’re looking for just something fun get Blackjack21, but if you’re trying to master basic strategy you’ll be frustrated by this, and start seeing patterns that favor dealer way more of than you will in real play or other apps that use better randomized.

If you play long enough you see the patterns designed to lure you in then crush you. Hand many many losing streaks up to 12 in a row when betting high or doubling bets. Clever programming but not much fun when you see how it’s rigged to generate revenue. Matters if you watch ads or how long since you started the game. Often get to win the first hand of a session. Never have a winning streak close to a losing streak. Tricked into buying it while trying to close a screen with the x. Still not sure what I hit but suddenly they charged my cc.

Completely unrealistic. The player is already at a disadvantage from the law of math in normal blackjack 52-48 advantage to the dealer. In this game The dealer wins a ridiculous amount. Like 75/25. They beat you incessantly so you buy more chips. But I can’t imagine who would enjoy a game where they consistently lose. Note to the developer. Make the game fair, give the players a chance. They will still lose & buy more chips. But running then over is not enjoyable enough to want to continue playing.

I used to play this game everyday, I even purchased the ad free version, the old version was better, once the money ran out, you automatically started back off with 5,000$. Now you gotta by coins or watch an stupid ad, if I wanted to watch ads I would’ve never paid for the ad free version. Delete and back to my other black jack game, where I spend the wheel for more money, ad free!

UPDATE: I’m lowering my rating. It’s not a bad game but the ads have gotten out of control. And on most of them, when it shows the option to skip the ad, it actually takes you to Blackjack21 Store for Blackjack21 in the ad. I’m done with this.

It's better than some of the other free apps out the. You have ads pop up quite a bit but that's why it's free. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to turn off where it tells you how high your hand is. In a real casino you have to do that on your own and it makes you a bit lazy to that point.

LOVED Blackjack21. I mean it was my go to blackjack practice for years. I’ve played thousands and thousands of hands since buying the ad-free version about 2 years ago.

Today’s update ruins everything that made it great. No longer is it simple practice with no consequences. Now it’s just another trash money scheme to try and get you to buy chips with real life money.

Blackjack21 is just ok. There are a a lot of ads, some times every other hand.

Also, the win/loss ratio is not even close to a real situation. most runs will be 3-10 losing hands in a row…win 3, lose 5, win 1 lose 10, win 2, lose 7. Just more accurate to real life odds.

I used the STRATEGY GUIDE while I played. More times than not, it told me to stand at 15…..17…….13….I lost anyway…. I’d finally get an 18…dealer got 21. Once the dealer had a 17….I had 18…it drew ANOTHER CARD. I thought dealers had to stop when they drew 17?…
Atmosphere was nice. Music was nice….By statically, I won 1/3 of my games…not good enough for me.

Really like this game.

The reason for star deduction is that some of the ads seem to not display an exit button (x or otherwise). I have to close Blackjack21 and reopen and hope for an ad that eventually shows a way to close the ad.

This game works pretty good. There are several problems that need correcting. The Sound does not work most of the time. This game requires you to decide on placing the Bet every time you play. It should allow you to maintain the same Bet amount, without hitting that Button every hand. It does not give you Bonus Money every day, like some games do!

A better blackjack game than others I have played. Your not constantly being asked to upgrade or buy more chips. Nice way to kill some time.

This is a good blackjack game. I've tried others and some you never win at. This one is better and I win at it more than the other blackjack games.

I've only been playing for a couple of days but it seems the odds are better in the player's favor. Anyway I love to play blackjack.

Other Blackjack games I've played always seemed like a scam where the dealer always had a slight advantage over me. This game isn't like that. It's the best one I've played so far.

This is a solid game of blackjack and teaches you the basics if you've never played before. One couldn't ask for a better version.

Fun game. Good pace. Biggest problem is that when you split and win you only get paid on the first bet.

Playing Blackjack21 and then examining the stats is valuable for developing effective, real casino playing skills.

Once you get used to betting every hand it moves along fairly well. Pop ups are bothersome, but others worse.

I love this game it's the best I'd played yet you can play offline as well and no need to buy chips just a great game over all and I rarely do reviews on these games
