The Insect Scanner program helps you easily identify these foods. • The application immediately indicates whether the product contains insects or not. • It also displays more information (such as Nutri-Score, origin, and more). • Extremely fast: Barcode recognition is based on the latest technology, and you'll see the result instantly. • Highly intuitive: The color red means insects found; the color green means everything is fine. • Offline mode: Over 1000 products in the local database - this is how you can identify products in the supermarket even without an internet connection. • Continuous improvement: New products are constantly being added.  Since 2021, the European Union has allowed the addition of ground insects (such as beetles, cockroaches, and mealworms) to foods as a source of protein.  There are also many foods that contain additives (such as carmine and shellac) obtained from insects (such as scale insects).  If a product is unknown, you can add it yourself. • Important additional information: Additional information such as Nutri-Score, product origin, and added ingredients.  Don't want to eat insects?  The application is actively under development, and we look forward to receiving your feedback!
