Cool Scoring App!

This scoring app is exciting to use. I have an ultimate account so I have my name programmed in so the announcer says stuff like “Chris Requires 40” It definitely makes it exciting to practice. Also some of my favorite practice routines are on DartCounter already! Check DartCounter out I highly recommend it to everyone trying to up their game or just for the casual score keeper!

Free version is awful.

App crashes a lot. The UX is not very friendly, in theory it is, but the buttons are too large in some areas and not large enough in others (ie Bobs 27, easy to record a miss or a hit, but clicking next is too far down on the screen and doesn’t always register).

My biggest issue is that if you accidentally hit miss more than the allotted amount of throws (or register 4 missed for a turn of 3) - it informs you of your mistake, but still deducts the entire amount, and decreases your percentages. If you try to go back, you’re even worse off because it doesn’t undo the score, just the miss needs to be registered yet again, now doubling the incorrect score. In theory you could go back, register a hit on the double to offset the accidentally registered miss, but this is inefficient and ultimately this issue has led to me deleting DartCounter .

I also would have paid to keep my data, but not when it’s tracked like this.

App is recommended

The dartbot makes a great competitor when playing darts alone. Also DartCounter is awesome when playing against someone you or a 3rd party can keep your score. Very user friendly and easy, quick match setup.

The only thing that I wish DartCounter would change is having their yearly Ultimate subscription be an in-app purchase. Currently it routes you to the developers website and asks for credit card or other payment types. I personally would prefer that in DartCounter .

Good, but could use a few tweaks.

I like the interface and the sounds/voice. DartCounter is easy to use.
My issues with DartCounter are two.
1. Occasionally an error will occur while playing the dart bot where a score is “invalid” for some reason, and you can’t continue the match. You have to quit and start over.
2. The dartbot is *way* to good at doubles. It almost never misses a double. This is with its avg set at 50. It will throw 20s, 25s, etc while scoring, then when it gets down to a double, it nails it almost every time. Super unrealistic & frustrating.

Great app! One request

I love DartCounter. It’s very functional, and easy to use. It’s fun being able to play against Dartbot and other people online. My only suggestion is that it showed your average in Cricket. It does however keep your average in -01 games.

Good for Training but with AI Flaws

Really great for helping me play alone and get higher averages but the AI is really flawed. Not statistically but it’s scoring is just really sporadic. It’ll go cold for a while but then hit multiple bullseyes in a row in back to back rounds. A person who could barely hit 20s in multiple rounds wouldn’t magically be able to hit double bulls with such ease. Other than that it’s pretty good.

Must Have

A must for anyone who enjoys playing darts. No question, absolute must.

Needs more detailed statistics. My Dart Training does a better job of breaking out in detail so you can view your volume and progress across days, weeks, months in each category. That said DartsCounter gives you online games which is irreplaceable. Fantastic app. Great fun.

Great App

I love DartCounter. The options are excellent. Bobs 27, Cricket and 01 are all included as well as scoring training and around the clock on singles and doubles. The dartbot option is also very challenging. I don’t have the pro option yet, but I’d like to see more stats included. For a free app though, it’s pretty solid.

Great app

I would give DartCounter 5 stars if I could create an account but it won’t let me. I like to keep stats of my shooting progression. DartCounter does all that for you. Hopefully I’ll figure out how to sign in so DartCounter will save my stats and I won’t have to write everything down after a practice session.

Saved Games

The new update looks nice and seems to work fine except the only thing you left out is how to play a saved game. Before the update the saved games were at the top of the screen and now I can’t find them when I save them.

Challenging Dart App

This is a great app that helps improve your dart game. You can choose the level of play for your opponent. The only issue I am I having is making an account. Highly recommend DartCounter for beginning and veteran darters.

Bugged

DartCounter is bugged. It won’t keep track of my statistics after I paid for the premium. Also Tried to log out and back in and not I’m unable to login due to an error message

Quality dart app

Honestly it’s awesome, my only wish is that there were more people online to play against. Great app, can’t wait for more people to get it to play online more

By

Good App But

Checkouts need to be improved. Other apps allow you to input each dart once you’re at a checkout and update as you input. Also, the functionality when you bust can be improved. It doesn’t account for busting on 1 dart vs 3 etc...

I do enjoy the training games and other parts though.

Nice

I love DartCounter it’s working out great better than any one i’ve used so far!!!

By

Almost perfect

I love DartCounter but I am not the best with math and I have to use my phone, it does not give you enough time to shoot and enter your scores. All I would need is maybe an extra 20 seconds

By

Almost perfect

I would rate this 5 stars but I’ve had DartCounter for months now and I still can’t register an account to play online... other than that it’s perfect.

By

Good App but with issue

When on second leg, i enter my final score to win and it resets score back to 0 and wont let me finish

By

Great app

Makes practicing at home fun and challenging, I recommend it for everyone who enjoys playing darts.

By

Great App

DartCounter works well and is easy to use. It’s good for training as well.

By

Good Dart App

I plan to upgrade to ultimate, but will not until the cricket interface is fixed. It needs to be bigger. Please fix, so I can upgrade.

By

Trainer

Simple and exactly what you want to play against a computerized opponent.

By

Revamp cricket needed

Why is the cricket scoreboard so small? You should be able to see the marks from the throw line with device on table. Please make use of the entire screen.

It,s perfect app

I tried a lot of other apps for dart training, but DartCounter truly perfect...
Thank you so much

Could be good

Super glitchy with login after games. Also needs online remote play vs friends. Some tweaking would make DartCounter very good

Hello all, Firstly I’d like to say how much I love the app, it’s saved my sanity during lockdown! My only issues are that as I am playing more again I am getting better but because of this and your opponents get to rate you out of 5 my rating has dropped massively. Obviously people don’t like losing and when you are playing well they automatically think you must be cheating, this makes it very hard to get people to play you! Finally when I first came on here there was so many people online to play it was crazy, unfortunately now there seems to be a massive lack of people online to play and I’m unsure why?

First of all i want to say that i absolutely love this app, my game has improved ten fold since i have been playing competitively online, hence i am a pro paying member. My only gripe is with the online mode, the fact that your opponents can give you a rating between 1 - 5 stars, this is fine except now my rating looks poor because of my improved game, so im finding it hard for people wanting to want to play me because im only a 4.1 out of 5. Just makes me look like im a cheater, very disheartening if im completely honest. Kindest Regards Ashley Norton 07412674551

Hello, why does it keep asking "how many darts used on double?". Its a bit annoying, apart from that it's an excellent app.
