The title says it all. Tried to buy beach passes two weeks in a row at multiple beaches. Pass sales were suspended at sales time and even after refreshing multiple times within the subsequent hour, they were never made available to actually buy. Then a message appeared that they were sold out. Viply never communicated when sales that were delayed would be reopened. Tickets were not accessible to everyone. When I reached out to their customer service team, they responded with completely inaccurate facts about ticket availability which I refuted with screenshots. They basically forfeited any responsibility for the horrible functionality of their app. This app is a sham and truly needs to be improved before other municipalities and organizations partner with them. The app seems to offer convenience and clarity, but in reality deliver absolutely none.

Went on at 6:25 (5 minutes early) to make a reservation for Asbury Park beach and it was already sold out. App said ticket sales for the beach were suspended because they were at capacity. Tickets aren’t suppose to go on sale until 6:30 pm the night before.. how were they sold out 5 m before tickets were supposed to go on sale? I had to call the restaurant where we made a reservation to have lunch and cancel.. the hostess mentioned that this happens to a lot of people... not cool Viply. We live 1.5 hours away not going to travel to the restaurant if we can’t enjoy the beach too... ruined our plans

I expected to be able to go to the beach and pay by cash but i get told i need to get the app and pay with card... no big deal i get the app but i entire my info and i keep getting a error saying “authorization failed server error” even tried a different card and same error. Then i ask the lady at the beach entrance what to do and she tells me she doesn’t have any idea but i could walk down to this building called the auditorium that I can pay there if the app meanwhile the line was out the door
