Follow these steps to resolve intermittent i-Guard app issues:

Force Stop the i-Guard App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click i-Guard app. » click "Force Stop".

Update i-Guard to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear i-Guard App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "i-Guard app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch i-Guard.

Fix i-Guard unable to contact server/ i-Guard internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click i-Guard » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got i-Guard » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch i-Guard on android.
