Householdaccountbook is alright... but two issues that are quite annoying are one, Householdaccountbook doesn’t carry over the balance from month to month, meaning that when the new month starts, it will just reset your balance to zero. Why? I know this may not seem like a huge issue to people, but sometimes I have transactions disappear from my account with my bank for days at a time, which is why I like to manually add my transactions - since even my online banking account is not always accurate. For the whole balance to disappear when it moves onto the next month is frustrating, because it’s not simply a matter of inputting my current balance back into Householdaccountbook , but then I also have to try and find the missing transactions (that have temporarily disappeared from my online banking account) and reenter them too - resulting in them being tracked twice, once with the wrong date.

The other issue is the ads. Yes, I understand that they need to make money somehow. However, Householdaccountbook is FILLED with ads. Considering that Householdaccountbook is not very user-friendly, you may click on a ton of functions to try and find something, but they will give you pop-up video ads that are distracting and annoying - in addition to the ads that are already on the platform.

I have been using this for 2 months now, but I decided to just give up on this and use a more efficent money-tracking app due to its inefficiency and ads.

for a free app it's simple, cute, and effective but there are two issues that are starting to bother me A LOT:
1. income from last month doesn't carry over into the next.
2. weird bug that changes information you enter by a penny (so irritating) and doesn't save/change when you try to fix it.

developers PLEASE fix these bugs!!

Householdaccountbook is cute, and very nicely made. But the reason why I gave 4 stars is because whenever I try to click or write something, ad pops up. Like every time I click anything. I dont mind watching ads because its for the developer’s own goods. But this is too much. Other than that, everything is cute.

Edit: I reset my phone several times to try and fix the crashing. It has gotten better but will still randomly crash upon use. Still my favorite budgeting app, just wish the crashing would get better.

Original: This is my favorite budgeting app. But this past update two days ago has completely broken it for me (using iPhone 11, latest iOS). I cannot click on anything and Householdaccountbook crashes if I try. Hope this is fixed soon :(

So, I love Householdaccountbook. I’ve been using it to keep track of my finances for about a year now, and so far haven’t had any problems. However, for the past couple of days, it’s been crashing every time I try to put in a new transaction, which is a pretty big nuisance. I don’t want to delete and redownload Householdaccountbook and risk losing my data, but I cant think of any other ways to fix it.

I like logging in everything and I think it's helped me not spend and I like seeing how much I make a month/save...my issues might be the ads(this isn't a huge problem) but I with there were more stories!

Just got this and the weight app ... Really loving the very simplistic yet adorable app. Just enough data to help track but not so much it becomes a chore All the reviews I read were exactly true .... I look forward to whatever else you develop Thank You

best budgeting app and ive tried TONS of them, including the fancy ones you pay for. it’s fun to add expenses and income because the interface is so cute, and its so simple to see how much $ you have compared to how much you’ve spent.

When i downloaded Householdaccountbook , i made “paid” categories for available credit, debit balances, and cash on hand. That way, if I get behind on logging things, i can catch up by plugging in what i have at that moment, and adding a “paid” entry for the total amount of expenses i didnt keep track of. Then i can check the list and see my notes of what money came from where - for example, i can note that i spent $5 cash at 7/11, and $5 debit at the grocery store - and compare that to the balances i entered earlier. there isn’t any other app ive used that has that specific capability, and i don’t know why - I guess they try to overcomplicate things.

I also love how there is 100% no judgment or messages or “tips” about budgeting or saving money. it’s a fun and simple account book! no guilt!!

one feature i’d like to see is a calculator in-app, that would be useful.

For people complaining about ads - its only $1 to remove them! you’ll forget about that $1 immediately. App developers need to make money somehow!

I also use their Casual Dieting app and CocopPa play app and I am in love! easy to use, and of course I paid the small .99c to remove ads. Highly recommend doing so in order to not get the full-screen ads. Wonderful app!! Will support all other releases by this artist!

As soon I found Householdaccountbook I had to get it! Once I finally used it, I fell in love so bad already! I really love Householdaccountbook a lot! It’s very helpful to me. This budget app, you people have to get! Thank you so much for making Householdaccountbook! Now I have a cute budget app! !!

It is so simple and easy to use. No link to your credit cards or accounts. Simple categories you can edit and delete or make as much as you want.

Password protected so no snoopy person can see how you spend your money.

Cute wallpapers and a story. What more can you ask for? Also there no need to buy anything besides removing ads for Householdaccountbook . No need to buy gold or whatever to improve Householdaccountbook (like a game).

The only thing I would like is for the balance to carry over into the next month. That would be nice.

This and Kanahei's weight tracker apps are so cute!! I love using them, they are just what i was looking for with their aesthetic and function!! And their cuteness makes me feel even more encouraged to use them ٩꒰ ˘ ³˘꒱۶~♡ I hope Kanahei keeps going and makes even more apps, I love to download~!

I never write reviews but THIS deserves it. I can track my spending so easily. I have tried excel and manually tracking but have failed. Householdaccountbook is so cute and does all calculations. I have been able to see what I should cut down to save. Im in love and will continue to use this 💕

Love Householdaccountbook because it’s easy and quick to use, and has a lovely interface. I’ve found apps that do read your bank account and try to guess at categories are not very helpful for me. Manual entry makes me more aware of what I’m spending, as I’m spending it, and since Account Book is simple and easy I always have time to make an entry.

i have been wanting a simple cute app to see how much i spend each month and this is perfect! with all the other apps, i get distracted and stressed with inputting categories and budgets and different accounts and everything, but with this its so easy and simple. its free! and theres cute short stories that progress as you input your finances :3

I have always struggled with keeping track of my spendings, and I’ve tried everything from writing it in a notebook to getting someone else to keep track for me . But this, Householdaccountbook has saved my life (literally) I just love it, but... I feel as if there could be more options when it comes to pictures/characters but that’s just my opinion. Would definitely recommend!

I love how simplistic and user friendly Householdaccountbook is! I’ve never been one for tracking how much I spend on paper, I’ve mainly kept mental notes, but seeing how everything shakes out when entering them monthly gives me a better idea of cost management for sure. The pie graph and list are super helpful and easy to understand. Keep Householdaccountbook up, it’s doing the right things for the end user.

But lately it’s been crashing each time I try to open it. It won’t let me do anything or scroll through my data before disappearing on your screen. Super sad :(
I love the Kanahei and Piske theme and it’s a great way to help you budget and see your financial picture, but unless you speak/read fluent Japanese you can’t message tech support to let them know that the product isn’t working right :( help please??

I love love love Householdaccountbook not only because it's cute it's also design very easy to use it. I can add any transaction in seconds. I also love the way it present the spending, so easy to tracking where my money go. I been used Householdaccountbook for years hopefully the company can keeping update the new version to compatible with newer iPhone version. So I can continue use it for another years and years, I don't want to lose all my data for past years not even talking about to start over with other app. So Please let Householdaccountbook keeping running!

I love Householdaccountbook so much. Logging my spending is very stressful but the cute characters and nice design make it much better! I like the pie chart and breakdown of expenses on a monthly basis. So far it helped me reach my savings goals and I recommended it to my friends too! The little story in the beginning helps you form a habit to log expenses daily by giving you the incentive to find out more about pisque and usagi. So in this aspect i think Householdaccountbook does a good job to train you and make it seem less scary and manageable ! The artist did work for pokemon too & I love their art style so much!!

Householdaccountbook is super cute and easy to use, and it helps me with my budgeting skills. However, sometimes when I enter some prices they will be one penny off. I want to take off the ads but I don’t feel comfortable doing so until this is fixed.

This is the Best personal Budget App! I don’t like the finance tracker apps that connect to your bank account or cards and I used to have a very similar App to this until they discontinued it. I adore this one tho, since I’m a Kawaii Gurl, so the graphics & characters are cute but not too distracting if you’re not into it. I prefer the Finance Tracker Apps that are totally manual since I can put in every $3 or other random cash I spend on little things, which is what adds up for me. The main screen is clear and always shows your monthly balance according to your manual entries of income & expenses. It’s great that you can change, delete and create your own categories of expenses and income, each with its own picture or graphic, to suit your needs and lifestyle. Then you can view your total expenses or income for the month as a list or a % pie chart, which I find really helpful and essential to budgeting for myself. It lets me see where I can cut back and where I have been spending or making more money than usual!
100% necessary for adulting!
