Move the Block Slide Puzzle Reviews

Know as soon as I played this I knew I hated it. Why? Because it tells you the smallest number of moves you can make to complete the level. Know you may think that this is not a problem but I do. I think it telling you that you can do better at the puzzle is not exactly motivating to play the next level especially if you are in any way a perfectionist like me who will be bother by my “imperfect” score until I get the best number of moves. I got this game because I had an app called puzzle box, that was like a collection of games and had a section for puzzles like this. That was my favorite section and when I played difficult levels it was logically rewarding as I felt I had exercised my brain, but when I play this game I am not exercising my brain and I just feel awful because I am pressuring myself to get a perfect score, which as you can imagine makes the game less than appealing to play. Another quarrel I had with this game was that it was too easy. Of course I thought that the beginner levels would be easy but I also wanted to see how hard the expert levels were and to my dismay those levels were also easy. Also just so you know I am not some adult who is like super good at logic puzzles and finds these puzzles under par to their abilities. I am just a 12 year old girl who is in no way brilliant at logic puzzles and just finds the levels in this game to be too easy.

Sorry it was so long. Sometimes when I express my opinions I can get rather wordy.

I like the mental challenge of the games. Even my 4 yr old grandson can do many of beginner puzzles. But when he was doing on in church and the ad came up, despite turning the sound off in settings, the ad sung and flourished throughout church. My poor grandson was so embarrassed.

Shame on you! All for the sake of an ad! Fix it.

let’s just say i think i’ve found a new love of slide puzzles.
i’m only 16 and i’ve always thought of slide puzzles as a grandma thing, yet i just downloaded this game today and i’m addicted. i feel smart, is that weird? 😂 some of them are extremely easy— i’ve gotten a perfect score on the first try. on the other hand, i’ve been stumped on a few. i move some blocks around and then get stuck.. reset the board.. move some again and complete the level.. and then go back and try to get a perfect score. so far, i’m halfway done with the beginner’s level and i’ve achieved a perfect score on every one of them. the perfect score option allows me to challenge myself. it’s genuinely entertaining.
i guess my only suggestions are customizable block colors (the player chooses the colors he or she prefers; the beige and brown is a bit boring) and customizable sounds (the sounds are repetitive and uninteresting).
once again, great job with MovetheBlock. i’ll definitely be playing it a ton over the next few days. :)

I lived the games and they were fun. It is definitely better to get the premium version because the ads inn the free version are so annoying and hard to close out of. But beware that ads will play in the premium version and it is easy to hit ad instead of the hint button and then basically the only thing to do is close the game.

This game reminds me of my first computer. A Packard Bell Pack Mate, I bought in 1994. It had a game called KLOTSKI, with multiple, increasingly difficult levels with the last called SANTA FE. A giant Aztec cross in the center surrounded by dozens of smaller, multi sized blocks! Great challenge to clear in the fewest possible moves! I hope it’s the exact same game under a different name!

I've been playing this game for a long time now. The only thing I'd like to see is an achievement for getting perfect on all the levels... Not that I have, but it'd be nice to see. Like how the star collector achievement shows you how many stars you have collected (nice that you added the progress bar now by the way).

I love this game because it forces you to think. Where as most games typically teach you to act on impulse, this game teaches you to think before you act and helps you to think about seeking all your available options.

I think the game is awesome because it will give you a great opportunity to get smarter and think more unlike a lot of video games I’ll just keep you there shooting maybe this will keep you thinking 💭

I started with beginning but once I got the hang of it I went to advanced. I love puzzles and this one is so clean, and neat. I like wooden design, it’s got like a modern homey feel. A lot of games are soooo bright and colorful. I dig their different style. It’s a good game overall.

FINALLY!! An app that requires you to think and plan. It shows you a goal and allows you time to work out a plan before you make your moves. Good job and thanks!

I love this game because rod how much it makes you use your brain and it’s very addicting and it makes you want to try and beat the score that you got before 👍 so I totally recommend this game

It’s nice to have a game that makes you really think during this time. You need to be able to sit back relax and have some you time .
It’s also pretty fun!

Really interesting and progressively challenging.
Might consider an awards system of some sort but I’d play it anyway.
This progressively challenging puzzle game is really actually quite enjoyable and interesting.
Give yourself a break and learn how the challenge grows on you.

It’s so fun to learn. Once I got the hang of it and the challenges got harder I found myself wanting to see how hard they could get and how good my skills were. Im 3/4 of the way completed on all levels and have every level unlocked. It’s super fun and time consuming.

This game has a very simple concept but is somehow really addictive. All levels are not too tricky, though at times you may need help. You can't spend too long on it though or you may get tired. Anyhow, still loads of fun and a great way to keep your mind at work and exercising!
Great Brain Game!

It is easy at the beginning. Then you get a few levels in and you seriously start thinking you are a genius. BAM.....stuff just got real....real deep. Genius? Can you show you are a genius? I’m having second thoughts myself. This game is great!

i don’t usually write reviews but MovetheBlock deserves it. saw an ad on instagram and i’m so glad they didn’t use any of those click bait “only 1% can pass stage 5” or “you are legally smart if you can pass this level” or some stupid ad like that. the gameplay showed them actually beating the level and playing the game. it’s just what i expected it to be and i like the slightly harder levels (that give a hint as a reward) from time to time too! and the game itself doesn’t have too many ads every 5 seconds so i’m glad about that. thank you! ^^

I have been playing this off and on for several years now...each time a new challenge! A real mind stimulator! Keeps you alert even when your not playing at the time. For some reason it sharpens the mind when your outside on the go. Everything you see makes you automatically study whatever your looking at, in the blink of an eye!

After all these years, I have finally found it! This is one of the first puzzle games on the iPhone that I had, and it still beats them all. From this game came so many others, like “move the car” and many more. I can’t wait to beat this game again, but this time I am trying to win with perfect scores on each level before I move on. I am so happy this game is still around!!!!

Their “ couple thing that I love about the he game keep me focus - swift even my eyes do a lot of work and I think that’s a plus.” It’s like if I was a phycharites I would really describe this game to the elderly and not to mention therapeutic .
I work in the medical fields and I can say with Confidence I love it the challenge Awesome sauce.

There are a few duplicate puzzles that follow one after another (if they are too far apart, they do not count as duplicates). They are:

Beginner Rotate 7 and 8
Special Mix A 10 and 11
Special Mix A 27 and 28 (exact copies of each other)
Special Mix B 4 and 5
Special Mix B 7 and 8

The game developers did a great job of making each puzzle different, but it is a sign for concern when I find duplicate levels right after one another. It would be best if these levels were moved away for each other at least a little since they are so similar or even exactly the same in some cases.

Edit: The puzzle Old Extreme 38 is unsolvable in 13 moves. I cannot get 3 stars because of this.
