Lifetime Movie Club Reviews

They have new movies on their site or app but if your tv subscription doesn’t have lifetime you can’t watch the new movies which is why I got the lifetime movie club and they don’t have any of the new ones they air on tv doesn’t make sense those should be added to the lifetime movie club since I’m paying would like to see the new ones like they play on their channel!!! Honestly if you pay for lifetime movie club you should have access to the new movies on their lifetime app. Disappointed cause I’ve missed out on some newer movies and thought the lifetime movie club would have them!! Like hardly any 2019’s and no 2020’s don’t understand why those aren’t on there, probably gotta wait like two years before their finally posted?!? Bummer

I still like lifetime and I still watch it constantly, but I don’t like the new app and I don’t think you have enough movies to watch. Lifetime on cable has been on for at lease 25 to 30 years and you have way more movies that you could put on for us to watch, but you keep playing the same ones over and over. I would like to see the good movies you were playing back in the late 80’s and 90’s now those were the good movies I want to watch. I would keep my channel on Lifetime a day long and watch nothing but Lifetime on the television, I would only change it to watch the news. Now that’s when Lifetime fun to wtch. Put more movies and more of the movies that mad Lifetime the best channel to watch.

I am not happy with the changes since the new update. Since LMC has changed the way they do things (no longer a new movie everyday, and other changes) also, changes with app with the new update. It’s so hard now to keep up when a movie is leaving. You have to click on movie to see if it is leaving and then after exiting it takes you back to beginning of movie list. Then you have to scroll all the list again to find where you were. I wish they would go back to the way everything was before. A new movie everyday, beside movie name have the date it’s leaving. And loved LifetimeMovieClub before this last update so go back to that.

I can see from past reviews that certain requested upgrades by other users have now been made, which as someone trying this for the free trial week is encouraging. One thing that’s a little frustrating is inconsistency between the iPad app and the tvOS app. You can add movies to My List in the iPad app, but the tvOS app does not have the ability to add movies to my list or even view My List for movies you’ve added in the iPad app. Can you please add the My List function to the tvOS app? Thank you.

Although I like LifetimeMovieClub it needs work not enough older movies like from the early 2000’s I don’t know why we have to paying for some of the movies on here when we are paying for LifetimeMovieClub already. Also I was watching a movie and the it cut out the rest of the movie please fix these issues I want to keep my subscription but things have got to change you all have too many movies to only have a selected few good ones not the new ones you have which don’t make sense at all. You all need to add the good old ones like you had LifetimeMovieClub needs technical work as well. If you want to keep customers

I've been a fan of lifetime for a very long time and would stay glued to it all day long back when it was True movie Thursday or something like that and it was filled with all the good 80s and 90s movies. That's my first issue. I would like to see more of those classic movies. Not all this new stuff with bad acting. Still love lifetime though. My last issue is that my app is no longer allowing me to mirror to my tv. I'll start to watch it on my phone then mirror it, but once the picture shows up on my tv screen it will no longer play. Please look into both of these and then I will gladly give a 5 star review.

I’m not sure why this would state 100 movies, when basically 25 is what’s shown for you to choose from. So why state 100??? And to say new & classic is wrong... I’ve yet to see a “classic” on here yet. THIS is $4.00 a month? I could watch them all in like 3 days time. Lifetime used to be our favorite thing to watch. For such a big channel to select a few movies (of THEIR choice, NOT the viewers) and then charge for it, (not to mention advertising 100 movies, and only adding 25), it’s pretty disappointing. I think advertising something that you’re not offering is false and considered fraudulent, to be honest. Pretty disappointed in Lifetime at this point.

I absolutely love your app! But can you please add “The Brittany Murphy movie” you have a great selection of behind the headlines movies of true stories involving celebrities. That is an amazing movie & I haven’t watched it in YEARS!!! also can you please add “Virtual Lies” “The Trainer” “The Party Never Stops” I’ve been wanting to watch these movies forever now & I was hoping they would be on here!! They were always on the LMN TV channel! I still LOVE your app!! I’m just hoping for some new movies, but from years ago!

LifetimeMovieClub really isn’t worth the $$ each month. New movies are NOT added all the time! Many of them are also available OnDemand with my cable subscription, are played on LMN/Lifetime way too frequently or available other places for free.
How can it even be a Lifetime movie club and it doesn’t even have a Josie Davis movie or the classic with Tracy Nelson...The Perfect Nanny?
You don’t even get a favorites list or anything like that. If you want to save a list of faves the only thing you can do (to keep them in one easy accessible place) is download the whole movie. Which of course takes up space.
If free apps can supply a better user experience, I don’t see why a paid app from a major company can’t.

Technical support was quick to reply and get my issues fixed. They also gave me more time on my free trial to make up for my inconvenience.

I downloaded LifetimeMovieClub , signed in with my lifetime account, it asked me to pick a subscription...I did, it confirmed but that is all it will do. It will not let me even get to the part where I can see movies. I was really looking forward to being able to watch commercial free but I can’t watch anything. 😕

I like LifetimeMovieClub, but it definitely needs some fixes. The downloading feature only works on occasion. Constantly gives you errors so it takes forever to download. Also LifetimeMovieClub does not save your place while you are watching a movie. It starts over from the beginning every time. So annoying.

It also is annoying to find movies. It makes you scroll to the right which takes a while, and then if you click into a movie, and go back, it takes you all the way back to the beginning so you lose your place.

I feel like as we’re paying money to join, we should get all the movies and every movie that comes out. I also think there is not enough time to watch the ones that leave. One week to watch 11 movies is ridiculous. I like LifetimeMovieClub but they should really change that. Also they should add a continue watching segment like they do with Netflix. I notice they have that on the iPad but not on the Roku. Maybe it’s the way Roku is but that’s what I think. Overall worth the money for the movies.

I originally signed up for this subscription to watch Christmas movies at the end of December about a week later all of the Christmas movies were deleted from the site either the movies were year-round movies to watch therefore I have no need for this site because of the movies seem to be about lying dying or crying and I need something more positive in my life.

Now that I want to cancel the subscription it is so frustrating that I cannot seem to be able to cancel because lifetime movie club has made it impossible to find the proper way to cancel your subscription never again will I subscribe to lifetime

LifetimeMovieClub will no longer work with chromecast. When the casting icon is tapped it just goes through the little connecting animation and the movie will continue to play on my iPad and not the tv. Zero connection or error message.

Why can't we have access to old classic 80's lifetime movies like the moment of truth stuff? Honestly, I pay for TV service so I don't need LifetimeMovieClub unless you provide something that I can't find anywhere else. And I'm guessing the old lifetime app is useless now? What a ripoff. 4 bucks for a handful of crap movies? It's not just old people who don't know any better that watch lifetime!!! I am an old person who does know better. Shame on you.

I love Lifetime, but u guys don’t have to many movies on MovieClub . It seems like u limit the movies on MovieClub. I’ve watched Lifetime since it started. I loved it because ur movies featured strong women getting around life’s obstacles. It really gave me courage to get around my obstacles. I use to watch lifetime all the time. My cable company now charges more to see ur Lifetime Movie channel so I joined ur Movie Club. But ur movies need a 1980 or 1990’s uplift and u need to feature more movies on MovieClub.

Every time I try to log into my account it keeps saying the email and password combination is incorrect......and when I try to reset it it’s saying my email is not in their system.

Everything worked fine the past week or so, what happened?!!!!!

I love LifetimeMovieClub and the movies. My only issue is LifetimeMovieClub will NOT update on Apple TV. I have to delete LifetimeMovieClub and download it again to get it to refresh. SO frustrating! I check it on my phone for new movies that are added to see if I want to go through the hassle of doing it. Please fix this!

I’m so disappointed with LifetimeMovieClub. Lifetime has a gazillion movies and LifetimeMovieClub is SO limited. I’ve watched just about every movie and it seems like LifetimeMovieClub is rarely updated with new movies. LifetimeMovieClub should be updated with different movies twice a month at the very least.

Another thing I don’t like about LifetimeMovieClub is that I paid for my subscription on my fire stick, yet when I loaded LifetimeMovieClub on my phone, it’s not letting me do anything without paying for the subscription...that I’ve already paid for months ago. Makes no sense at all. Very frustrating.

I like the movie choices but there definitely needs to be more classics from the 90’s. My problem is it’s glitchy. 70% of the time I’m logging out to reboot or I’m deleting and reinstalling. Doesn’t matter if it’s my iPhone 7 or 11 or an iPad 3 or 6. Does the same thing whether on wifi or data. It doesn’t save where you are and always starts over if you exit. It’s not expensive but sure would be nice for IT TO WORK CONSISTENTLY! Ugh.

it says it has lifetime classics and new films which is very far fetched being that there are only three ‘classic’ movies and they are all from like 2008 and up. The movie selection is awful and very limited to be considered a movie club you get charged $4 a month. As for new movies they didn’t even have the Anna Nicole movie on here. I grew up watching LMN and Lifetime and had wayyyy higher hopes for LifetimeMovieClub. They have none of the 90’s classics we grew up watching on LifetimeMovieClub at all which is quite disappointing. I’m canceling my subscription. I will say they bling ring so that’s nice buts that’s about it. Not worth it!

If you do not have cable, Direct TV or Dish it is well worth it. But I have Direct TV so there is no reason at all to have it. It just repeats what is on TV. In the future I going to just my Apple TV and get rid of every thing else. Then I will renew. One problem that is also a deal breaker for subscriptions! I was being charged 8% sales tax. My state is 6.5% and I am out of city limits. My address is still the city name and zip as lots of address's in rural areas near the city. There is one click software to tell if in city limits. This translates into big money with say 200,000 subscribers each month.

I understand that people were asking for more 80’s and 90’s movies and that is great. However, every Friday now that is all that is uploaded. Shouldn’t it be a mix of older movies and more recent ones? I am slightly disappointed because I got LifetimeMovieClub & subscription because I fell in love with the Lifetime Movie Channel one day watching it at a friend’s house and I don’t have it at home. So, I don’t mind the older movies some are really great but slowly it’s going to be 100% old movies which is not what I originally subscribed to.

I just read all the reviews and fully have the same issues. LMN is huge don’t be so cheap add back new movies everyday and darn you fix those bugs on LifetimeMovieClub . Fire the guy who made the last updates. I watch 1 movie every night to relax me but I think I’ve been thru all, I’m forced to see LMN on my Directv?or other sources. Come back!!

The streaming service is very reasonable but the downloading feature is not working on my iPhone or ipad. I have restarted and devices and deleted LifetimeMovieClub and reinstall it. It still will not work. I know it's not my devices or internet speed because I have other streaming services that have the download feature and they download fast without issue. I'm hoping that this streaming service can fix this glitch with LifetimeMovieClub.
