Major bugs :(

I have used PrayWatch for the past couple months and it is hands down the BEST salah times app for the watch. But recently it has not been functioning at all on the watch. It either gives the wrong salah time or the widget appears as just a blank square on my watch. It no longer gives any notification of the salah time. When I click on it and it opens, I can see the information displayed. But the widget and watch app no longer function properly. I am so sad and have found that I have become so dependent on it that living without the salah time constantly in my view and having the hour count down is making my day so difficult! I have deleted and reinstalled PrayWatch on both my phone and watch, I’ve rebooted my watch. Nothing solves the problem. The iPhone app works well. But the watch app has been completely disfunctional starting around Asr today.

Fantastic app

This is just what I was looking for. It’s free, which is a blessing, and it has all the options I need for notifications. While at work, I prefer just a quick sound with a notification that pops up on my screen, rather than the full adhan, which I use for Fajr, Maghrib and Isha. PrayWatch provides those options, plus the option for advance notice and you can set how long prior you want the notice. I also love that there’s an option for midnight and last third that I haven’t seen in any other apps. It’s perfect for those who want to do the night prayer. I’ll never have to look for another app for prayer notification. This is absolutely perfect. May Allah bless you for developing and sharing it.

Loving it!

Downloaded PrayWatch just to give it a shot and have been using PrayWatch for about two months now and I’m absolutely loving it! The best feature of this watch for me is that it’s Apple Watch compatible (or a “widget”, as I was later informed by my kids). I love the Last Third of the night timings as it makes it so easy to figure out your Tahajjud timings and the live Qibla directions make it so easy to pray when you’re outside.

I’ve downloaded PrayWatch for my teen kids as well and they can view salaah timings on their watches. Now if you guys can come up with an app to actually MAKE them perform their wudhu and MAKE them pray, you guys will be my heroes! 😄. Thank you for PrayWatch, though, awesome work!

The best I tested so far

From now on I will be recommending PrayWatch to whoever using inferior adhan apps. Many others have too many features that are not necessarily part of assisting with prayers. Tell me the time and the direction to face and that is all I need. My one suggestion would be to include map data for qiblah direction as compass data alone is skewed at certain situations when there is magnetic complications. Other than that PrayWatch has enough settings to adjust ahan authority, automatic location selection and even Hanafi selection for asr time. I loved the widget with the tiny compass on it, very cool design. No frills - WhatsApp stickers etc., no ads, no premium, the real purpose is to deliver time and direction!

Amazing and accurate app

I searched for a long time for an accurate app that also gives a pre-azan reminder notification; and after trying a number of other apps (including paid ones), the Pray Watch app is the only one that does this with reproducible accuracy. I was also impressed by the accuracy of the location auto-adjustment of the prayer times. Additionally, the number of included azan sounds are great.
Thank you very much for this great app and I pray that Allah reward you for this effort for every single person benefiting from it.

Best Apple Watch app for Muslim prayer timings!

I love PrayWatch; it’s designed with optimization and sleek design all over iOS and watchOS versions. Prayer Notifications are smooth and accurate. Just small requests for it to hit 5 star;
1. Instead of snooze notifications post prayers being a manual setting, where you have to select the snooze option when noticed about the prayer, an option needs to be there to allow users to set automatic post- prayer notifications.

2. The count down to prayer doesn’t work as per the images displayed in PrayWatch Store. It’s either green or red, no scaling in between when it comes to the colors. Also the countdown to prayer doesn’t work once it hits the hour mark on the watch complication.

This app is amazing and free!

Thank you for creating such an amazing app, its does everything it says it does. The snooze sometimes doesn't work for some reason but not a big deal. I would like to propose also an idea 💡, especially for the people who have the tendency to forget or are not sure that they did pray a specific prayer, they might need the option that it keeps snoozing until they confirm that they prayed and it will show in a section in PrayWatch with a check sign (example: subh prayer ✅, Dhur ✅, Asr ❗️,...) I hope my idea will benefit PrayWatch .

Great little app without annoying ads

PrayWatch does one thing quite well: it helps remind you of your prayers. It gives you good options to do that. If you want an app that has a bunch of other fancy features that constantly forces you to watch ads that frequently promote questionable or even haram products and services, or incessantly badgers you to get their “Pro” version, or sends you lots of annoying notifications that you can’t fine tune, then go get “Muslim Pro” or something.

Great app—for me just a couple of downers

As-Salaam Alaikum. It is a clean and beautifully done app. Here are my dislikes:

1) Only four audible alerts: Tweet (as in ‘same Tweet sound as Twitter’); Circles (kinda loud, not discrete and not sound I’d associate with a Prayer alert); Alert is literally a Big Ben alarm clock sound; Tone...same abrupt sounding and not very soft subtle sound. PrayWatch needs ability to add a custom sound so I can pick one that in a corporate meeting would be a subtle discreet sound not a “what was that?” Or “hey, you need to answer that?”...like an old phone outfitted with a literal brass bell. I need a sound I’d associate with a Prayer alert.

2) I wish it had Upcoming Islamic Events tab.

Fajar reminder

Assalam Alaekum, The fajar reminder on the dial is not there before fajar. If you are praying tahajud, then the dial gives you how much time is left for sunrise rather than how much time left for fajar beginning time. It used to be ok but the new release is not providing that feature. Other Salah times are ok After fajar it shows how much time has elapsed since fajar. I may need to do some adjustment but couldn’t find any. The fox will help a lot. JazakAllah khair

THANKS A LOT FOR SOLVING MY PROBLEM. JAZAKALLAH KHAIR. IT WAS IN THE SETTING AND THE TOGGLE SWITCH WPRKED LIKE A CHARM. YOU GUYS ARE WONDERFUL AND AMAZING IN CUSTOMER RESPONSE. THANLS A LOT. I LOVE PrayWatch.

Please bring the countdown back

This is hands down the best prayer app in PrayWatch Store. I have been using the his app for more than 5 years and i love it. But please bring back the options to see the countdown always in the Apple Watch complications! With the last update i only see the time for the next adhan and it’s only showing the he countdown like 20 minutes before the adhan. Please bring it back I’m begging you because I really relay on PrayWatch all the time :(

Thanks 🙏🏻

Notifications not working with Apple watch

When app is setup to mirror iPhone with Apple watch 6 series phone adhan and notifications does not ring on iPhone. Only watch rings. I tried few other apps and it seems to be a problem across several platforms. It would be great if phone could get a notification and adhan and not just watch. If I am very busy I don't even notice watch notification and need phone adhan. If I turn off mirror phone option then phone rings and adhan plays but no notification on the watch. If this bug is fixed I'll give it 5 stars however right now little notification on apple watch is not enough.

The very best!

I don’t typically write reviews but PrayWatch is the best prayer app out there. I’ve tried several and this is it! It’s free and absolutely NO ADS! It saves you a lot by reminding you 20 mins before Salah and the best part for me is how it also tell you about the last third of the night. That saves you the hassle of having to calculate and figure out when the last third starts etc. it’s just amazing.
Jazakumullahu Khayr🙏🏽
As’SalamuAlaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakaatuhu

Best app for quick views!

After deleting Muslim Pro (like the rest of us) I went through so many apps to find a replacement. This is the best one in terms of layout and being able to easily access the prayer times without having to open PrayWatch on both my phone and my watch. Also I love that it has the sunrise time since some apps just go from fair to Duhr. Highly recommend!

Miss the Qibla compass

Switched to pray watch from the Athan app and have never looked back! However, with this new update, the tiny compass that was available in the widgets is gone. I am not sure why but that was one of the most amazing features of PrayWatch according to me. It was so convenient to just swipe to the widgets and locate the qibla without actually opening PrayWatch ! Please add the compass back in the next update! Thanks

Best prayer app out there

I downloaded this on a whim, but turned out to be the best prayer app out there. Key differentiators:
1. Super clean layout, no ads, no fus, easy to configure
2. The notifications are highly customizable
3. The notifications include a compass!! You can pull down the notification and see a live compass
4. The iPhone widget is the cleanest and most compact widget. Takes almost no room and includes a live compass!
5. The Apple Watch integration is excellent. The complication for prayer times gives you an easy to read countdown. Something no other app does
6. PrayWatch detects and can automatically correct for location changes without having constant access to location. It’s extremely reliable and notifies me every time I get off an airplane.

What else could you want?!?!

Awesome but some suggestions

Thank you so much for such a great app.
I wanted to point out it’s a little too simple to start playing the Adhan (without knowing what volume your phone is) when launching PrayWatch and accidentally tapping the screen. It might be better to have a play button and then a stop or pause button for those in a public setting like a library. I prefer not to stop it too but the option should be there.

A lot of options and ways for adjustments

I really like PrayWatch for giving the user so many options to adjust and modify the methods of calculations, times and adjust Hijri date.
PrayWatch has NO annoying advertisements. Thank you and may God guide you and all of us to know ourselves and be in complete harmony with His meaning characters in order to achieve our unity with his genuine true life which is present NOW.

Great adhan alarm

This is better than other pay-apps with more features because this one actually works. It’s a really great lightweight app with everything you could want in an adhan alarm. I especially love PrayWatch widget which includes the qibla and adhan times in an easy to read format.

My only (minor) suggestion for improvement would be adding more mu’azzin choices. Otherwise, a fantastic app that I would gladly pay to use.

Excellent and high tech app with accurate times

I love and own PrayWatch. I find it very useful for my prayer needs. It’s also compatible with my apple watch so it is great.
There is couple of improvements that I think will make it perfect.
1. When I switch for the Fajr time the sunrise time disappears in the main tab. It would be nice to show the sunrise time as well on the prayer tab.
2. For the month of Ramadan specially I would like to see the Imsak (Astronomical twighligt?) time as well. This will indicate what time to stop suhoor. Imsak time can be year round coz many people observe Nafil Fasting (Roza) as well.
I know I am asking for too much but I hope my suggestion would be worth consideration.
Thank you and keep up the good work.
Regards.

It could be better

Good app for Salah. It would be better if the time before and after sunrise is indicated in red when Salah should not be performed. Same thing for Asr and and Noon times. This is the reason I have rated it 4 star. One thing I would also like is adding a page for all Islamic important dates like Eid, Ramadan Haj etc. keep up the good work.

For anyone seeking regular prayer.

Astronomy buff, New Age, Orthodox Christian, or Muslim (the intended audience), this application keeps you mindful throughout the day. Whether you use the reminders for salat, a quick prayer, or just to be aware of when it’s astronomical noon, it is a great tool for anyone whose day can get away from them. Millions of others are praying at the same time when that chime sounds. Jazak Allah Khair!

Complication don’t update in always on display

Re: based on the reply, I could confirm that I’m still facing the problem despite being on the latest version. Please help.

On my Apple Watch series 5, with Infographic module I don’t see the complication updating while the screen is in idle mode. I know other complications updating, the stocks and dark sky, etc.

I want this to be fixed please. This by far the most important app on watch face.

My go to app

Bar none this is the best most reliable prayer app out there. I tried and paid for most of what is currently out there, PrayWatch works well simple and pretty much does what I need. Support is also first grade, when an issue surfaces they’re on it almost immediately. Thank you.

Brilliant with missing iqama counter

Love PrayWatch ! Specially the complications which allow you to add the salah timing on the watch face. However, PrayWatch still has missing functionality which my decade old AlFajr watch has: iqama countdown or counter to azan on the face to allow you to properly prepare for Jamma. If this functionality is there I can give it five star.👍🏻

Great prayer app with watchOS 5 and Series 4 support

After a lightning quick update for watchOS 5 and Series 4, the awesome development team hammered out another rev in a matter of days in response to community feedback regarding corner complications, which are now clear and easy to read on the watch. JazakAllah khairan!!

Great app best one so far

PrayWatch is super convenient I love the part that there is a 10 minute reminder before athan . Thx to this I’ve been keeping up with all my prayers. If you could add an Athkar feature with a reminder that would complete PrayWatch .

By

Great app

I love how informative PrayWatch are.
Not only it has a set time schedule but an sound alarm to notify, plus a a short duration in between the prayers time.
I recommend it to all including for those who are new just like myself.

Amazing widget!! (On iPhone)

1st thank you so much for filling the void and frustration caused by Athan app!
Amazing widget allowing me to easily see prayer times (and time remaining) by just swiping down on any screen. And can even get the qibla just as easy! Thank you so much! JazakumAllahu Khair!

By

Great but I have a suggestion

I like PrayWatch and the Apple Watch integration as well as the widget. However. When I am in PrayWatch and I want to switch between salat time, salat list, I find myself swiping instead of pressing the icon below. I think it is more intuitive to swipe. Jazakum ALLAH Khair for reading this.

Its such an useful feature but the countdown feature no longer works, it breaks down every few hours. Having reinstalled for the 37th time, I am extremely fed up now. Its 9am and my countdown showing 44 minutes until dhuhr. its always a countdown to dhuhr

My pray watch app doesn’t work on my apple watch. It only sends notifications of prayer times.
