App doesn't download...

I’m loving the whole concept of MEL Science but was just about to start the first experience when MELScience crashed my phone. Now scared to even launch MELScience again...

MEL science is so disappointing. MELScience is super confusing. Maybe it works if you take the time to figure it all out, but who has time for that especially if you have an impatient kid who’s trying to get a project done.

Also the first project we did was pretty bad too. We’re going to try to get our money back.

At first my daughter and I liked this because the experiments. But this month we got the box and BOTH experiments were defected, one actually caught on fire and burned the Petri dish, I have emailed and called them at least 5-7 times to get a refund with absolutely no response. The disappointment on my daughters face was the worse part of it all..

Fix it and I am happy to write a real review of an otherwise good product

The system is not intuitive

For example, we are doing the sugar monster and the stove, bottles, and mixtures don’t match what’s in the kit. Delete MELScience and just follow the kits instructions.

I hate this the sets come with none of the supplies needed improve this or I will never use the sets again! 😡😡😡🤬😡😡

This box is and I use this word lightly horrible
The items are crappy the cube broke before I turned it and I didn’t get all the items where are HALF my items I figured you had a lot of time to think about it because my box took 2 months to arrive only to arrive broken and crappy I like Vsause but this box was the worst purchase I made I 2023

First not all of the experiments are even on MELScience ! I look but there are missing experiments so if you wanted video guides or a in-depth look at the experiments your out of luck! But you want to know the best part? I doesn’t work for more than sixty seconds! I’ve tried everything but no matter what it just ends up frozen.

Just got our first experiments in the mail and my son loved them. I was very disappointed, however, that there was no explanation behind the volcano and burning snake experiments. I downloaded MELScience and found it to be severely lacking. The instructions tell you to scan the QR code for the experiment within MELScience but there was no option in MELScience to do so. There was also not a search option for the experiments and when I typed in the web address that was in the instructions, I got an error message. I really hope these shortcomings are being worked on because the idea behind this is awesome but nowadays you've GOT to have and app that works well. This one does not.

It was fun at first but then it switched to mell chemistry and I didn’t get the boxes even though you said they came😕

Just trying first experiment. Instructions mention taking pictures and scanning items within the Ap.
However, what’s shown in manual isn’t what is in the Ap. I see no scanning feature or photo option.
And can’t figure out how to use VR for the specific experiment we are doing

I know I don’t understand much but 1 reason is
It isn’t very organized there are very few experiments that are interesting. There seems to be very few interests with other people but I still feel the same way as them. I hope MELScience gets better.

It’s somewhat hard to understand the woman that is speaking in the videos. She sounds like a robot with an Asian accent.

It really needs a search function for atoms and experiments. I scrolled through all of the experiments twice before I could confirm it wasn’t even on there. I love the kits though!

I love MELScience and all I’ve done is a fire snake and I love it already! 🐍

MELScience is great I used it and I’m only 12 everything is there you just gotta look

I love all the kits , it’s so fun
