I was planning to prank my friends, but my phone number isn’t working for some reason (and yes, I called my carrier so it’ll be a couple days before they fix it) so I logged in with my Google account. Needless to say, my cellular data also doesn’t work (dang it again!), so I was on three bars of Wi-Fi. I log in and I’m super excited, then it says I have no connection. If the developers are reading this, you are stealing and maliciously using our information from our Google accounts, and that is unfair as we all hate getting spam emails and such. It is also against Apple’s terms of service for application developers, as well as the U.S. (and idk about Canada) laws. You are breaking the law with TraceBust, and please don’t tell me to contact support. I read the 5-star review and it’s definitely from a bot as I tried TraceBust on three different devices with three different Google accounts. Very disappointing, and no, developers, I’m not going to contact support so don’t ask. Other users have been very frustrated with TraceBust ’s support, and so I will not be contacting them. It’s also against Apple TOS to create illicit 5-star reviews on alternate Apple IDs. I do not recommend TraceBust at all.

The “No Service” issue with TraceBust freezing your network and not being able to make calls has not subsided. It has actually gotten worse. I’m actually going to be submitting a full grievance complaint to the compliance department over at Apple/App Store. This issue is life threatening in the way that a person could be in danger; could have a stalker, killer or a rapist in pursuit of them and would not be able to call for help due to the fact that TraceBust indefinitely freezes your phone on the account of it telling you that you need to update your phone with a fake update!!!! I go into my general opts and there is no update needed besides I keep my phone on auto-update anyways and preset it to overnight update. One thing is for sure, the jive-turkey creators of TraceBust are up to something sneaky. They are either random hackers seeking to hack your personal confidential information for reasons to steal from you and know all your personal secrets or this is some sort of federal government app that is again doing something that also invades and defies everything that is humanly ethical. Either way TraceBust has gotten my money and my dignity and has all together made me feel super unsafe and violated.

For some reason temporarily I could not choose the call from Number. This upset me and I wrote a negative review. And also sent an email to Support. The situation changed and now I have full use of the application just like I did before. Not sure if my email had anything to do with it but I’m back up to five stars. I’m just like a big kid, I like to prank people while I’m sitting right in front of them. And now I can do that again. The only thingI’d like to be able to do is hear a sample of the voice changer to hear how it sounds on the other side.

I paid the extra money to get more credits with TraceBust and it took 13 credits one time and the call did not go through it just crashed and it was done but took way more than the 2 credits a minute it says it takes and didn’t even call. Another time it crashed and took 6 credits again without even making a call out! I talked to their so called support and the person just kept telling me how it takes two credits to make a phone call and I kept telling that person yeah well if you actually make a phone call and not take 13 credits or six but she just continued to act stupid and never did anything about the problem, so I still sat there with no credit and no money in my bank account for something I paid for and no help on the matter either so it was awesome buyer beware!

If I had to nitpick it, I more than anything want to hear the way my voice was changed to on the other end but it is not available in the play back 😪. Other than that does exactly what it should and what it says it will do. Super clean interface, moves quickly in between screens. 2 calls a day limits me from pranking all my friends all the time. Perhaps a way to watch an ad and or something to gain another free credit would be nice. Maybe not...it might cheapen the overall wonderful experience of using TraceBust . Great job guys.

Buying credits is really the only part of TraceBust that works.

I tried a few test calls with friends; nobody was willing to say the call quality was great, but nobody said it sucked either.

When I went to make a longer call I started getting small glitches every few seconds, not great but still usable... same glitches when I play back the recording.

Figuring I would clean it up after exporting the audio... there is no way to export it to a file!

Contact tech support; they assure me it should be hidden behind a long-swipe on the recording, I let them know it’s not, they promise to get it fixed.

Waited... no fix, tried to save the recording off using a digital audio recorder and a cable. It took me 7 tries to get the whole 15 minute clip; playback stops when the phone locks or sleeps.

So you have to turn auto-lock off AND tap random parts of the screen to keep it awake (even when plugged in) while it’s playing back. You can’t actually scrub the recording, so each try is from the start.

In the end, I’m just glad I didn’t buy more than the $10 minimum.

I thank the developers for the response and I have upgraded my rating from 1 star to 4. TraceBust works. You get up to 2 minutes free calling per day. Below is my original review in case it seems relevant to you:
After I installed TraceBust I started getting ads that related to things I talked about. Weird things. Things that I never get ads for and that I only recently had conversations about. I suspect this new app which I found has access to my microphone in my privacy settings was eavesdropping on me. I would love for the developer to definitively refute this. Does your app send things I’ve talked about to marketers?

Great app. Had a problem with credits populating when purchased but I submitted my concerns and was emailed within the said 24 hour response time and the issue was handled very responsible. Apparently Apple doesn’t wants to charge us and make them fight for their money making it difficult to know if funds were collected or not or even aware of the transaction. Sent them a screenshot of the apple receipt e-mail and fell asleep. Woke up to all my credits. TraceBust works!!!

Okay, when I downloaded TraceBust I thought it would be just like any other fake call/text app. But when I connected my google account, it said “no network connection.” But my internet had a full bar and it was connected. Hear me out people! TraceBust is a SCAM. It takes money and steals info off the website. So I warn you, before you download TraceBust, READ THIS FIRST. Because this is UNBELIEVABLE! Be careful and read reviews before buying things like this! Be safe on the internet kids! And also, developer, you cannot deny this anymore. You have been caught. So don’t try to write: “we are so sorry about this and we will try to fix it” blah blah blah, etc. DONT DOWNLOAD THIS! It will steal your info off TraceBust ! Don’t do it.

The last few months the connection has been horrible. I have available purchased credits. That I have not been able to use. Due to this issue. Upon reaching out to customer service. They told me the connection problem would be fixed. It’s been a month now and it’s still not working we always have technical issues

If your wanting to buy credits for the voice changer “Don’t”. The voice changer doesn’t work and it hasn’t for months. That’s the whole reason I I bought the minutes. My friends new it was me the whole time messing with them. It was because it was my actual voice. What a waste. And they won’t even refund my 2 purchases. If I would of knew the voice changer didn’t work I wouldn’t have bought it . Thanks for giving everyone the heads up about it not working.

It would be nice to hear your voice changed in play back mode. Also suppose to get 2 free calls every 24 hours but doesn’t always do that. And when you purchase time it doesn’t actually show up unless you email them and prove you bought them. So some stuff is a hassle when it’s really not suppose to be. Fix these things and work on play back mode I’d give TraceBust at 5. But fix the bugs and this really is an enjoyable app and really fun .

TraceBust is amazing. My job will not answer the phone to me. They will not answer blocked calls either. So, I put in the name and phone number to our corporate office. Works every time !

They stupidly asks oh your number shows up “different” ? I just idk what your talking about.

Oh and just buy the credits . It only takes a few for most calls and the rest stay in your bank.

So I do love TraceBust! I don’t care about the voice chamber part at all. I love that it records the convo and that it actually mask your number as another (for prank purposes of course). However, I will admit I use it more to track my kids down when they don’t want to answer my calls. I simply put one of their friends numbers in and wahhlaaa! The down side to TraceBust is it says you get 2 free calls a day-not true! It also will not let me purchase any credits. Hopefully they fix these issues soon.

I thought TraceBust might be helpful, but after the free test I purchased credits and was never credited in my account. The company responded and claimed a software update happened the day after my purchase two weeks ago. I received an email claiming Apple was looking for the missing purchase they had no record of. Oddly it’s right there in my Apple profile, so the idea Apple is taking a week to respond and the company didn’t credit me or do anything for my inconvenience , I feel this shows the level of customer satisfaction they find acceptable.

TraceBust works when it wants to. It’s super dope to disguise a number however, the in app purchases didn’t work for me. I just found out I was charged $40 because I kept trying to buy credits of $4.99 and it never gave me the credits. I assumed it was a technical error and kept trying. Come to find out they charged my card $40 from all the failed attempts yet i never got the credit. Do not use TraceBust it never works and if it does normally only one of the 2 free credits goes through. The other always rings busy when that is false.

Seeing as this is a service requiring users pay The voice changing feature needs a lot of work, instead of just making all voices sound like you just inhaled helium. And if you can add the option to choose the number you want to send a text message from rather than having to pick from the predetermined options it would get 5 stars fosho.

I really like it but I ran out of credits and now I can’t afford to buy more :( I really want to play this game but why are the credits money! Is anyone really gonna spend their money on a prank call app?! Sorry I was just really mad, but other than that the game is amazing 😉 it is really fun to prank phone.

TraceBust does change your number and records calls somewhat decently. The issue I have with TraceBust is when I went to buy tokens (for the first time) I spent $53 and got no tokens. But they surely took my money. I emailed support and they had me send screenshots of my receipts (did that immediately). Well, it’s been 5 days since I sent them the receipts and I’ve seen no response or attempt to fix the problem. I wish I could’ve written a good review, but if you steal money from me that will not happen. Use for the free 2 minutes a day, don’t trust TraceBust with purchasing more tokens. You’ve been warned.

me and my friends use it almost daily and i always looked forward to my two free credits. i bought 50 credits for like 10 dollars and it didnt process but the costumer service team is really good. they even added free credits!!!! i literally love trolling people with this it is the highlight of my day and the responses i got from the staff was amazing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

So this thing is amazing . It worked so good for unfortunately. The reason I say unfortunately is because it helped me catch my fiancé cheating on me last night. I’m an absolute mess and seriously just want to kill myself and be over all this. I have never been so freaking hurt in my life. But it does work really well.

Since a couple days app doesn’t work at all. I downloaded app again two times, losing my just purchased credits! No response from support team, even though they claim 24 hr support!

If I could give TraceBust zero stars I would. I download TraceBust and paid a additional $20 call tokens. All the people that I tried to prank could not hear me. This was very frustrating they cannot even hear me say hello, and then TraceBust would cut off. Basically I could not make a phone call and the tokens were drastically diminishing altogether my time on the phone could not have equal a minute yet a large portion of the tokens were gone TraceBust really made me upset and I feel like I waste of money. I would tell you buyer beware!

I would have rated TraceBust with 5 stars but I dislike the fact that I can’t EARN free credits in addition to the credits already given.

It defeats the purpose of TraceBust if I’m sending friends invites! I mean, duh.... Why would I invite/alert the friends/friend that I plan to eventually prank??? I’d much rather watch a video to earn free credits... it just makes more sense in my case🙄

I’m not happy with the fact that I finally decided to buy a package that MAYBE 5 of the 25 actually worked. It would just call out in complete silence and about 30 seconds of that I would have to close out TraceBust because just hitting the End button would not disconnect the call. Then I would go back and listen to the recordings from the history and you can hear the other person going “hello?” “Hello?”.
So I feel like I’ve been scammed out of my money, just glad it was only $5 and not more.

This would be a great app if you had the choice to change the tone of voice. The woman's voice sounds terrible. Sounds like a cartoon character. I just needed a different woman's voice and not a cartoon. It shows the number you want on caller ID and everything but the voices that it changes to should allow you to change the tone.

By far the best app for checking to see if an employee or friend is just ignoring your call.. It’s a lot of apps that claim to do it but this one does. Options to record, change your voice and it’s so easy to use and works perfect.

Just confirmed my wife is ignoring calls from me by answering calls from another man. A man she's admitted to sleeping with in the past. Definitely works for its claimed purposes. And it doesn't get much more real than that.

Was a big fan of TraceBust until recently they removed the option of being able to choose what number you call from. This used to be my favorite function of it. Please put it back on TraceBust !
