Prime: When to post for Insta Reviews

If you’re looking for an app to post automatically, on it’s own this isn’t it. You still need to manually post, it only copies your caption and alerts you at the time and you still need to hashtag your own post. “Supposed” to copy your pic to Instagram instead it’s just blank and when you tap your screen it forces closed. I still end up posting my own posts. All Prime is good for is analyzing algorithms for the best time to post and even that is mediocre. Just skip it. Pick another app.

In the first 48 hours of use I have sent 3 error emails to the apps support and received no replies. Prime has hung more than 10 times. I set up 3 test posts. It did remind me to send he 1st one but hung in the middle and did not post. When I returned to Prime it had lost the post. I noticed a spelling error in the second post corrected it app hung - returned 2nd post gone, closed app and came back in to two identical posts of post 2. Today when it should have sent a reminder to publish post 2 it did not. My phone and apps are all up to date. I can see no reason to download this no-working app.

The information is great when you can get it. I keep having to reload, then sometimes it gets stuck on the sign in page and I waste lots of time trying to get on...I keep deleting Prime and reloading to get it to work.. but it’s not worth all that trouble.

Prime doesn't work at all. I tried to log in to my account no less than 10 times. It goes through the log in channels just to throw you back to the log in page. IF and WHEN you manage to actually log in and use Prime , it takes forever to refresh the account just for you to find out it wasn't actually refreshed.
In addition Prime claims that the refresh will only take a minute or less. Timed over two minutes.

I paid for something I couldn't even use!
Horrible!

There doesn’t seem to be a rhyme or reason to the times Prime chooses. You’re probably better off choosing a time you think works best for your audience and time zone rather than following Prime’s suggestion. Notifications are also very inconsistent and don't always work correctly.

Thought this was wonderful app until... I spent time organizing week worth of posts. The posts disappeared from my schedule at 'this app post' time but did not arrive on my instagram post. So I lost all wrk--can't retrieve it and no- show on instagram. I contacted developer and have not rec'd response. So perhaps Prime is ok to see 'this app' time but a don't schedule posts!!!!!

It told me that my followers would be active around 2:33 so I posted around 2:30 and only got 20 likes in 2 hours when I normally get at least 50 in 2 hours and average 110. The likes don’t matter but I use my Instagram for my job so I need more interaction with them. Made me feel weird so I deleted my post.

Prime saved my blog until this weekend. I don’t know what has happened but I can’t post directly from Prime anymore. It gives me an error every time attempt to post leaving me to post directly to IG which totally defeats the purpose in my opinion. Otherwise if it would post without my copying and pasting or even opening IG to post separately I would have given 5 stars!

Prime is very good with the times an individual's followers are online liking pictures. I recommend more accuracy because once or twice, the predictions were not as expected.

I agree with others—that having a better understanding of of the this app time is specific to me, or if it’s for everyone would be nice—but regardless, I like knowing what that’s supposed to be and follow the lead. I’m still trying to decide if I care to have notifications on—because if I don’t have a post planned, I’ve found myself scurrying to come up with something, but for now it’s nice to see.

I love Prime . It's great to post at peak times to help grow my business. I wish it would refresh itself once a week, instead of me having to refresh it.
I don't really understand how their numbers and times work either. I don't know if the peak times are based on when people are active on MY posts or when people are active on Instagram in general. Either way, I love it. Just wish I understood the little details.

Nice interface and solid data.
Would be helpful to have ability to add multiple accounts and have it auto-refresh frequently.

Ik I said apps but it’s just 1 other app ik it’s better than cuz I’ve only used that and Prime. This is way better than WhenToPost. My suggestion is a bar that you pull out of a side on your screen so you can add accounts, so if you have multiple accounts, you can login easily.

This is way better than other apps cause it allows me to be able to know when to post without any strings attached. I don't have to pay anything and that is amazing

Prime really helps me make the most of my posts on Instagram. Though I don’t know if this “best time” is based on my audience or the activity on insta in general during that time 🤷🏼‍♀️. Either way it’s very helpful to maximize engagement. Well worth the download.

We need more apps like this. Looking at my history all the previous posts i made that had good involvement were posted at times Prime says there is the most involvement. Excited to see how future posts perform

So it finally stopped getting stuck on the waiting screen and started showing me the times. I don't know how it calculates it but as long as I post according to Prime 's recommendations, I get great engagement on my photos. Just make sure to refresh the data often as it does change, often drastically.

Thanks to this app I know when to post on social media so I can reach my target audience. I've been using it for months and plan to continue to do so! It's so easy and always right on!

When I post according to the times I see people who I forgot were following me like my pictures... it's all about the time for Instagram and this really takes the cake. Just wish more times were given on the weekends!
