Birdland - Bird Aviary Reviews

I used to play the original game on my kindle a few years ago and waited and waited for it to be released on iPhone since I no longer had the kindle. Anyways this game is still fun but it lacks so many things. It crashes nonstop and I've found so many bugs. As a tester for a lot of games, I've never found this many errors in even a beta game. The screen blacks out, it crashes and resets to what it was previous to me logging on, the time is messed up. It'll say 3 hours for something and when I come back 3 hours later it'll say 2 hours 54 minutes. Sometimes it will catch up but it is rare. I am disappointed. I waited maybe 3 years to finally get it back and it's unplayable. You guys really need some new staff and creators because it seems that you can't make a game. There's several ideas I have that would make the game better. In the stores make categories so going through everything doesn't take 10 minutes. Maybe add a way to get more feathers, that would be nice. I'll continue to play for now but if it doesn't improve in the next few updates I'll have to retire from this game.

This game works well, there are quite a few bugs though. A couple times, I've checked my wifi and seen that it is very good, and then I play this game, and it says I have no internet connection. When I check back on my wifi, I see that it is still going strong. But this has only happened about four times.

But another major problem is that I can add friends, but I cannot visit their birds. They can visit mine, but I can't. Again, my wifi works well, but I can never visit friends because it takes forever to load them.

I also feel that there isn't really much to do. All you really can do is buy birds and decorations for your cages, clean them, and refill food and water.

So, I’ve seen that this game misplaces icons a lot. When buying things in the shop, to breeding birds. But the strangest thing I’ve come across was a olive and dark greed bird that when you tried to breed it, it had no icon. It showed a white circle with “image not found” on it. I thought this was really cool, actually. It worked like a normal bird, and probably had nothing wrong with it. It just was the “Misssingno” of Bird Land.
I know this game is old, so I’ll cut it some slack.

So I got to play around 10 minutes of the game, which was enjoyable as I love birds and this game is exactly what I've been looking for, but between the constant crashing and elongated loading, I either have to restart from level 1 and lose everything to even /try/ to play it, or I just get to sit and look at it crash and load forever (I've let it sit for an hour or two just on that screen, sometimes. And let it wait overnight. Etc). Exhilarating.

Fix the bugs, and I'll joyously give this game 4-5 stars, as it's very cute. Otherwise, be warned that it may not work out for you because of aforementioned reasons. And I already know they most likely aren't going to fix the bugs; companies very rarely do, but one can hope!

I love this game so much!! I use to play this game all the time I got to really high level then got a new ph and had to start over ☹️ I gave up having to start all over again, I recently downloaded again and it is taking so long to open and freezes many glitches 😩 I have iPhone 11 and I’m using WiFi very strong signal, I have no problems with bird land paradise it’s just this one for some reason.. was hoping for maybe an update soon to fix problems. Thank you so much! If problem gets fixed I will give 5 ⭐️

This game is really cute and fun. But there just a few issues.
I don’t really like the idea of having to spend coins to fill up the feeders and water. Maybe earning coins would be better, cause I just don’t understand why I would have to spend coins on that. And also it takes a very long time to visit certain friends, and it pretty much locks up on me.
So if you’d make some updates, that would be great. :)

Due to the catastrophic glitches and lack of improvement in years, I give this game 1 star. I added a star because of the kind customer service.

I had this game a couple of years ago and liked it. It needed some improvements to make it more enjoyable (female gift birds instead of just male, categorizing store products so we don't have to page through 1000 products, the ability to delete friends, etc.) but it hasn't been upgraded, at all. Also, this version doesn't have the prize wheel.

I still had fun and put up with the quirks, until I got my 8th cage. It kept deleting birds and finally crashed and won't load. Customer service was helpful but the only solution ended being them deleting the cage and me starting all over on it. The same thing happened though! I just earned my 9th cage and the same thing happened to it. So, I have 2 cages that won't load.

I'm done with Birdland.

When i first opened it, it wouldn’t load..But eventually it did load after restarting the game about 3 times. After it loaded, I bred the birds, that was fine..but then I went to buy another bird and it told me to restart the game after loading for some time. So I did, and the bird I bought was there. Overall, it’s okay..but having to restart the game can get kinda annoying. I hope these issues can be fixed if the developers are still working on this game 😁

This game is fun but two problems it is a bit blurry and if you breed green and green it should make green but it didn’t but I still love the game and I have the other version of the game and it is a bit better

Their bird land game is very glitchy, always force closes. Their fish adventure seasons game(I actually spent money on,stupid me) well it crashed went blue screened and I lost everything just like their bird land paradise game. Really enjoyable games when they actually work, but gets tiring having to constantly restart Birdland . Their fish game and bird paradise still doesn't work. Still nothing but a blue screen.
*UPDATE*
Bird land paradise officially quit working now. I can load the first cage, but if I try to sell, feed, change cages it gets stuck on the loading screen. Will be uninstalling and staying clear of this developer.

I used to have so much fun playing this game. It used to be so many birds and used to play Birdland every day. I used to love it and used to have so much fun. But, what happened, One day I just started up the game again and it never loaded properly like it was suppose to. I deleted Birdland and tried again one year later, But It did not change one bit. I’m sad now because one of my favorite apps no longer works. Someone please contact this company so this can be better for all this app players such as me. It never loads properly anymore but why?. Please contact the company thank you.

I love this game at first I would see my brother playing it a do got said cause I had a problem that I could not download it now the problem has been fixed and now I can get the game I'm so glad and happy to say this game so far has not given me any problems so far and is amazing live the game 💟💟

I played this game when I was super tiny and I was scrolling through Birdland store and a little voice in my head reminded me about the game! I am so glad I found this again. The music is fun and the bird noises are relaxing. I 100% recommend this game for all ages!!

This game use to be so fun with all the beautiful colored birds when I had it on my old kindle, I was so excited when I found it on Apple store but now that I’ve tried it.... it’s so laggy! I can’t even buy feathers and the game crashes, I would love to buy feathers so please fix these bugs so I can enjoy this game again and you can make money off me.

I used to play the original on on my Samsung galaxy which i still have today. I decided to download this on my phone since I used to love playing it. But I’ve never even played this game yet because it keeps crashing on the loading screen with a network problem (I have excellent wifi/network speed). Maybe this is a big that can be fixed?

This game is so good! It’s too bad it lags to much for it to be even more enjoyable most times you have to wait longer then the time you have to play would love for this to get fixed!!

This game is amazing, along with the one with cats and dogs (I think it’s called pet lovelies or something) that isn’t available on IOS. Such a big part of my early childhood, thank you! Some special things cost a ton of gems, and some people may not be up for it. Just a warning.

I enjoyed this game on Facebook, and now on my phone. My only comment to the devs is that paging through all the store items is a bit unwieldy. Can't wait to start breeding again!

I really love this bird app because I love birds. But sometimes my screen freezes and I lose all my levels and have to start all over again. That’s not cool.
