I am a premium subscriber to CleverCommute and by far the most useful feature for me is push notifications of track numbers so I can head straight to my train at Penn without having to stop and check a board. The premium price is a little steep but with a limited potential user base that’s understandable. The developer is responsive and committed to continuing to improve CleverCommute .

Essential tool for navigating the mess that is New Jersey Transit. Case in point on May 15, 2018. Thunderstorms suspended the MOBO line west of Broad st. Silence from. NJT. but fellow commuters alerted us seconds before the 6:10 from Penn closed it’s doors. Walked to Port Authority and was on the 6:40 bus. Home by 7:40 pm. Sure a bad commute. But not the hell that was waiting fellow riders at Broad st. Uber Lyft shortages and NJT bus home?? Not enough bourbon to soothe that insult.

CleverCommute paid for itself many times over last night. Keep up the great work Josh.

Love CleverCommute. I use it every single day on my commute. Love the real time alerts from other commuters and the railroad itself and also love the track predictor feature! Would highly recommend premium. Worth every penny! The emails and communication from the CEO Josh are great as well.

Great app for sharing and receiving alerts about the commute. Easy to use app and helpful notifications. It would be great if they would allow to save login and passwords.

When the commute becomes a challenge CleverCommute is vital for navigating unexpected changes/delays in the schedule. It also provides timely information for everyday use.

An indispensable tool if you commute … you can get alerts in real time, so much faster than alerts from NJT.

I have to commute to the city by train (NJTransit) and CleverCommute has been a life saver! I can now monitor train delays, tracks, but also get (and share) updates from fellow commuters. Love it!

I use it daily, the crowd sourced reporting has helped me avoid sitting in traffic and being stuck on a train. Getting real time notifications of commuting conditions is invaluable. Highly recommend, it is one of my essential apps.

Only rookie commuters do! First thing I look for when I get up in the morning, is a notification from Clever Commute. Countless times Clever Commute has been the first to alert me on any delays or cancellations of trains. It really is an invaluable resource for the commuter—veterans and rookies alike!

CleverCommute is amazing. So many times it has saved me from walking into a commuter disaster, usually caused by delayed trains. With other users sharing information, you know exactly what’s going on. Plus it has the feed from the transit provider (NJT in my case). I have been using CleverCommute since it was started so many years ago. It is a life-saver.

If you commute via public transit in NYC region then you NEED CleverCommute. Even if you’re not commuting daily you will find CleverCommute indispensable. It provides info timely and from sources not elsewhere available (crowd sourced) and regularly saves the commuter time, money and frustration.

I have been using Clever Commute since it’s earliest days and find CleverCommute to continue to improve. Whereas I may not change my commute arrival time, it is still useful to prepare for short or long commute times based on conditions

Now if only we had a way to track our actual busses via real time GPS updates....!

With an increasingly unpredictable and unreliable commute from NJ to NYC, Clever Commute is a lifesaver. Crowd sourced info is more timely and trustworthy than waiting for the “official” word from NJT. At least a few times a month, an alert from Clever Commute allows me to pivot in my plans and avoid a nightmare. CleverCommute interface is a bit clunky but I’ll stick with it until I retire!

I have the choice of train or bus. More and more one of them is a disaster (usually the train), the ability to know there is an issue on one and switch had saved me hours and hours. The first time was 2 days in and I needed to get to a family function!

CleverCommute is probably the single most important app of my daily commute on NJ TRANSIT from NJ to New York Penn Station. I am a premium user and will continue to be as long as I work in New York. It is amazing how much information and collaboration amongst fellow passengers makes this a powerful logistics tool for commuters. I cannot recommend this enough for anyone commuting using public transportation of any kind.

Gets you an alert sent by fellow commuters within seconds, way before LIRR sends out alert. You also get the viewpoint of commuter on train not canned message of police activity and impact

The track predict feature is very helpful and when i use atlantic and i am in subway underpass which doesn’t have master track screen i know which set of steps to go to.

I’ve been a fan since the beginning and cannot say enough about how CleverCommute has helped me! You’ll get news here first about what’s happening on your train or bus line before the transit company does. Back in 2012 after Hurricane Sandy, commuters were reporting cancelled trains, packed trains, which really determined whether I’d attempt the commute into Manhattan. If you’re a daily rider like me, CleverCommute is a must.

CleverCommute is invaluable to my commute! Especially helpful when trying to determine if bus or train is better choice!
