So why would I give it 4 stars? Well, cause up til this last update this free app has enabled me to easily monitor our great American Flag’s status and display appropriately. In IOS 13 ColonialFlagApp crashes as soon as it is opened on my 7s Plus. Unfortunately, I’m uninstalling and switching apps as it appears the developer has abandoned ColonialFlagApp . Change log shows 2yrs since dev commented “more to come”. Thanks for a great app while it lasted.

The bug that would crash ColonialFlagApp just after loading since IOS 13 came out is fixed. Now I can enjoy this wonderful app again. Thanks

I read a review or two about the “network error” but, since the v1.2 notes said it’d been fixed, I went ahead and downloaded it. Immediately it said network error and it won’t refresh. Disappointing. I give it two stars for the concept. It’s exactly what I was looking for and looks like a clean useful app if it will actually work.

When trying to refresh, it shows an error message.

Widget. Would be nice to have daily updates delivered via the widget feature on iOS as to the current and future (next day) status of the flag. Would alleviate the intentional opening of ColonialFlagApp daily to check for half staff days. Otherwise, good app.

When I first downloaded ColonialFlagApp it worked flawlessly, now with me running ios13 ColonialFlagApp no longer works or sends notifications. I’d love for them to update ColonialFlagApp so it can be my sole source of flag information but seeing as it’s been a years since the last update I’m not going to hold my breathe.

I downloaded yesterday and seem to like it. Once I got out of it the first time, I cannot get back into it. Every time I open it ColonialFlagApp crashes. I’ve tried to restart phone, delete and redownload, etc. but it still will not work.

I have had to delete and reload ColonialFlagApp each time I look at it. ColonialFlagApp tells me that the information is out of date and I need to update the notifications in the settings. Will now purchase an app for better information.

It will send me notifications for flag changes. But when I open ColonialFlagApp to read why, it says there’s a network error and won’t let me refresh ColonialFlagApp . It currently says that mine hasn’t been updated in 68 days.

This used to be a great app. The last two notifications I’ve received came in three days after the day I should have lowered my flag. If this issue could be resolved, that would be appreciated.

Works well and isn’t intrusive.

I have had ColonialFlagApp for less than 12 hours on my phone and is giving me a network error. Don’t waste your time

ColonialFlagApp used to work on my iPhone 7 but does not anymore. Network errors, used to crash on launch.

I never get my notifications early enough to change my flag at home. They come in around noon or after.

I am no also getting a network error and no notifications.

Used to be a great app. Now it crashes after trying to load up.

App worked very well in the past. Seems like an iOS update has brought back the network problems. Please fix!
