I booked a taxi from Heathrow Airport to Windsor for December 8th, 2023. The initial process was seamless. Everything was great. The problem started after I landed. I realized that my traveling companions were arriving at a different terminal. I notified the driver 1 hour 5 minutes before the pickup time of the change. I could have cancelled the trip instead. I chose not to. I notified the driver of the terminal change. I then got a call from the taxi company dispatcher who said he was including an amendment charge due to the change in pickup location. I had no choice at this point to agree but I did inform the man that I wound be contesting the charge through this app. When I returned to New York, I contacted Mincabit support and informed them of my displeasure. They eventually responded and told me that the charge was for a late pickup. I don’t know how that was possible since I had approved the amendment charge over 30 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. They offered zero help except some kind of puny discount on future trips. There’s no way I am going to use them in the future based on this experience.

minicabit is ok but could use tracking features as some have mentioned.
I’d like a feature to talk to my driver without “talking”. I could not comprehend what they were saying and responding to what they were saying proved pointless.
My driver for the future home airport trip never showed so I caught a black cab 35 minutes past my planned pickup.
I expect a full refund but if not, look for more harsh reviews to pop up elsewhere.

The driver lost the car in the airport parking lot and was over an hour late! I made a complaint and was just ignored, don’t use this service unless it’s with a credit card so you can chargeback if they screw you.

They charged my card and then the outsourced taxi company immediately cancelled booking. When I contacted customer service They told me the refund will come in a few days! and if I don’t get it to call my bank! Seriously? How about delete minicabit and then call my bank. How can you charge for something that you don’t control and then make the customer have to gravel for it. Worst idea!

This just doesn’t work. Booked a return trip for a wedding of my good friend. The system has only booked a RETURN trip tagging it “inbound”. The confirmation sms stated correct details so I wasn’t even aware of the failure. So now I’m terribly late riding Uber at last. minicabit still shows both trips, however the correct data is on the website.

Not user friendly at all!

I hired a taxi through this app for a one day trip to Scotland. Because I'm from the US, my phone doesn't work over here, which is why I booked a cab in advance- I knew I needed a way back to my hotel. The first cab took us to the airport, we got on the flight, went to Scotland, and nothing... the cab to take us into the city center wasn't there. We found another taxi, I received an email asking how the service was, and when I complained, this app offered me £5 off my next fare. The only problem is, by the time I got that email, they had abandoned me a second time in the same day.

My driver to take us from the airport back to the hotel never showed. There is one place to exit at that time of night, and nobody was there. We went to the area where you hire taxis, which is right by the meet and greet. Nobody there. We looked outside. Nobody there. We actually split up so that we could keep an eye on all three at once.

Remember how I said my phone doesn't work here? The company claims they held a sign for me. There was nobody holding a sign, but they did send an email that I never got. Because of that email, to date, this app is not refunding my money. And I couldn't get the email because wifi was maxed out for the day.

I understand they want to keep their drivers happy or they won't be able to book anyone. However, they did so at the cost of a customer. Being left at the airport with literally nobody in sight TWICE in one day is the worst customer service I've ever had. So fine, one American tourist and her kids is no big deal. I hope this business fails because of bad practices like this.

I use this app for airport transfers and it is always very reliable. My only issue with minicabit is that it sometimes lags when I try to make a booking, however the cab service itself is great.

minicabit is fairly easy to use and the drivers were prompt and courteous. minicabit would be better if you could confirm and adjust timing before finalizing the booking. Instead you have to basically start over and any added information is lost.

Every trip to and from LHR, the only transportation that my family and I use is one of the car services through “minicab.” I must say that each visit has exceeded my expectations. The scheduling through their app is quick and easy, and I enjoy having the options of the type of car service that I can choose from.
I do agree that a toll free number should be available to avoid expensive prone costs, however the communication via their app has worked out wonderfully to date.

I have been using this app to and from the airport several times a year and am always impressed with the service. The driver for my recent trip, Amit, was exceptional! I’m happy to have this option available when I travel.

Worry free and on time.

I am visiting for a week while also picking up my son who has been here for 3 months. I easily downloaded minicabit , entered a bit of my info, and was quickly making a reservation for him. Although I was in Glasgow and he in Strathaven, the cab picked him up and delivered him to Hamilton Central with no problems.

Traveling from the US to London & booking a few day trips. Was referred to this site & was able to very easily book 3 trips all within 10mins. Love this site!
