After finding this company from an article in Mashable I thought I would give it a try. After paying my 30 pieces of silver I downloaded VPNSecureVPN and was not able to even login. I would definitely not recommend purchasing.

Let’s get straight to the point. I’m located in China and I purchased a lifetime subscription to VPNSecure and was only able to use it for 2 days. On the 3rd day, it failed to connect by WiFi and 4g. They have sent an email to customers noting of the situation but currently they’re unable to provide a fix. On the other hand, I am able to connect using an alternative VPN software for FREE! Anyway, you pay for what you get. Save your money and avoid.

The transition to the latest update is not a smooth one. First I completely lost connection to my network and wifi, until I deleted and reinstalled VPNSecureVPN . Now I have to disconnect and reconnect the VPN every time I switch between wifi and my network. It's also not uncommon to try half a doz... Show more en locations before a successful connection. Some days I just give up. Support is horrendous - the website said if I send a message that I would get a response within 30 minutes - BS. The first response took 12 hours, then 3 days, and it is still unresolved.

When I first started using this, it was amazing. Fast and reliable VPN connection (not an oxymoron!). Plus it was easy and automatic to connect. But after presumably successful ad campaigns on stacksocial brining in lots of customers, speed has suffered, tech support has suffered, and VPNSecureVPN ... Show more is now buggy.

I haven't used VPNSecureVPN in over a month. Why? Ever since the update, it would randomly drop the VPN connection, get caught in an infinite loop of trying to reconnect, AND I couldn't disconnect VPN servers from VPNSecureVPN . This is a major problem because it kills your cell connection too. Had to do several hard resets / airplane mode to restore regular connectivity, and I finally gave up.

Please increase tech support staff / please fix!

Update: In current state VPNSecureVPN crashes every time it tries to connect to a server. Total waste of your time at this point.

Before: I finally got the update working on both my iPhone and IPad, after a seemingly unnecessary struggle and lots of deleting and reinstall that didn't help. ... Show more It actually does seem to be holding connections to server much better than it used to on iOS. I think the only thing I finally did differently but can't swear too, was after logging in to VPNSecure and before I actually connected to s server, I went in and I made sure I picked the correct amount of encryption I had originally chosen. I had the benefit of being able to check it on my mac. In Settings it still claim it's an IPSec connection but they say it is now openVPN instead. Keep trying it will work and it seems they fixed the one thing I felt was broke, disconnecting. Who knows in a day or two I may eat my words on that.

A really cool update idea would be to make VPNSecureVPN actually launch.

Never had a problem until the open VPN update went into effect. Support was gracious however to make it work I have to go through iTunes for iPhone to remedy the issue. I purchased a lifetime sub when it posted on a site for a discount . Not really ever owning or using a VPN I figured it would be a good idea .. well I was wrong . App does not work. Every time I try to connect VPNSecureVPN crashes. I also recently lost the ability to reliably connect to my cellular carrier. I had to wipe and restore my phone. Paid for a lifetime subscription which for a while worked great on both my iPhone and Mac. However, now the iPhone app crashes every time I try to login. Doesn’t seem very right that a lifetime customer like myself has their money taken and then the developers seemingly abandon VPNSecureVPN . VPNS... Show more ecureVPN hasn’t been updated in a year and despite the Mac application still working as expected, I’m seriously considering finding another more reliable VPN service that keeps their products working and up to date.

Had trouble connecting to some UK channels this year when last year I could connect perfectly, got an email from VPNSec... saying they were working more on something to do with privacy, well that doesn’t help me when I want to watch Uk channels! Norton will not allow me to visit site. What is vpnsecure do, they send you a zip file, who knows what’s in that. Lost 30 bucks for lifetime.

The actual VPN servers are good 95% of the time - but, they need to fire their iOS developers.

Ever since I updated to iOS 15, VPNSecureVPN instantly crashes when I click on anything. The fix is to uninstall VPNSecureVPN and reinstall it. Once I did that, I was able to use VPNSecureVPN as expected. 3 stars because VPNSecureVPN works, but we shouldn’t have to uninstall and reinstall…

I had this issue recently and tech support suggested this as the solution... it works fine again!

First compare it to other Vpn program VPNSecureVPN really works well and fast , you click the server and it connect it instantly. Paid version works great on all of my devices. And speed of connection is also faster than I expected. I give five stars to VPNSecureVPN. Hope there is more good futur... Show more e update. 😀

Edit: it started working randomly after a day. Back to being great. I recommend this vpn.

With this new update I couldn't connect to wifi, I had to delete VPNSecureVPN and reinstall it. Now it does simply does not connect to any of the servers. It was great before this.

Hey I paid $40 for this AWESOME VPN.
It was really good up until the last 3.1 update. Please fix connectivity issues. And yes that was for the lifetime service. Normally 5 stars.. recently fixed update. Please fix Wi-Fi disconnect issue 13.0 and above...with Wi-Fi enabled disconnects with EVERY... Show more server and goes to LTE....and uninstalling the iOS app DOES NOT help...still broken

Been using VPNSecureVPN more than a year
It has little lag sometime but overall it is working just great I can't understand why there is so many negative review here .
Both desktop version and iOS version working fine :)
Keep it up and improve VPNSecureVPN !

Yes there’s many VPN apps that claim to be the best. This VPN just works flawlessly every time. Enough said.

I snagged a lifetime membership deal more than a year ago and have never had any problem with VPNSecure. All servers I have tried work well and speeds are decent.
