Hate the new update and paid for renders and previews not fulfilled

I have been using TapGlanceInteriorDesign for a while and really liked it for quick design renders that do not need detail accuracy or a layout plan. I am really disappointed with some of the new changes. In their effort to address double wall issues when users misalign room walls by forcing rooms to snap tight to another room, I now can not create rooms with geometry outside of right or 45 degree angles. Changing room sizes after they have been connected means a room that I have already adjusted to the right dimensions are changed dynamically when I make changes to another room. It is so frustrating that I ended my subscription. To top it off, the previews and the renders I had accumulated and paid for have been removed once my subscription ended. Their free renders perk works outside of their subscription model and seems to have no issues keeping track of previews and renders when not part of their active subscriptions, so why would is it an issue to maintain the renders and previews I have already paid and allow me to use them up. I would even accept a grace period but just taking them away definitely does not make me more open to try them again if they make future changes that address the above.

Love this app!

I had the other app from Black Mana Studios, Interior design for iPad, but when I stupidly tried to download it on my phone it wouldn’t work. So I decided to try TapGlanceInteriorDesign the other one from this developer, and I loved it. I love how there’s so many different options, and so many more modern things in the other one. I also love how it specifies what genre of the materials from. But one fix it could use, Would be: sometimes when you try to design your layout it goes already so you can position it how you’d like. Even if no rooms overlap sometimes it will just say no. But this happens rarely overall TapGlanceInteriorDesign is too big Samsung. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys designing houses. I also appreciate the samples. The samples help me see what TapGlanceInteriorDesign is capable of. I also love redesigning the samples because sometimes I’m feeling too lazy to actually do it myself.

Love this app for home design!

Tapglance, while not a "complete" architectural design solution, is great for developing floor plans, choosing flooring and colors, and playing around with furniture placement. It's an awesome tool for kitchen/bathroom design. We're building a new house and Tapglance makes it easy to create and visualize the different floor plans that we're interested in.

What you can do:
- create a multi floor home and layout rooms any way you want
- delete walls to create "open" floor plans
- copy your plans to try out and save different options
- add furniture, appliances, cabinets
- change materials on any feature of any object in your design (floors, walls, doors, windows, furniture, appliances, cabinets)
- add decorations like vases, flowers, and pictures on the wall with photos from your photo library
- save screenshots of the various views available of your floor plans
- view your floor plans in 3d mode & walk through your home

What you can't do:
- can't design or visualize the roof
- no framing, electrical, plumbing design
- no true architectural plan output
- no landscaping

But, that said, Tapglance is very powerful and easy to use. We're meeting with the builder next week and plan on showing him our Tapglance plans. Can't wait!

Great app but needs more interior options

TapGlanceInteriorDesign is great! I use it whenever I do any interior decorating. The ability to import your own photos and pick your own colors gives you the opportunity to really be creative and test different ideas out. The downfalls to TapGlanceInteriorDesign are that the interior decor options can be limited. I wish there were more furniture options and designs and more misc. decor items. Also, although the color pick option is great, the colors often look different when I actually place them on a wall. All in all, its still a great app.

Love it!

I'm an Interior designer and use TapGlanceInteriorDesign for all my projects for creating 3D renderings. Right now I tell my clients it's just to visualize the space and to get an idea of how furniture, etc will fit into the space. I would live to use it more to illustrate the actual decor, but it needs more customizable options and more decor pieces. Like bedding, artwork, throw blankets, more furniture options, etc. I would love it if it used real catalogues from stores on the market, for example Crate & Barrel. These things are something I hope are incorporated in the future, but as it is today I still love TapGlanceInteriorDesign and would recommend it to other Interior Designers as a great tool to compliment your design process.

BEST INTERIOR DESIGN APP!

I love TapGlanceInteriorDesign. I used Blackmana's Interior Design for IPad, then switched to TapGlance which contains all our comments from previous design App. Blackmana's customer support is also superior. There are areas of improvement which we users have mentioned over the last few months. Hopefully they will be addressed over time in updated versions.
New accessories, updated furniture, Roof or roof lines, ability to control ceiling height in each room. Exterior curved pathways and exterior designs, plants, etc. I would gladly purchase the upgrade or an "Exterior Design" for iPad! TapGlanceInteriorDesign still gets 5 Stars from me regardless.

It doesn’t appeal to me

TapGlanceInteriorDesign is great... but unfortunately it would be better for me if the designs for counters and cabinets were more appealing and more perfect than they are today. I just went through all the colors and none of them appeal to me in my vision... plz fix this, it makes me frustrated and angry with the designs, also the light that reflects off of the counters, I do like that but not when I’m changing the colors of the cabinets... I will try to make it work for me, and if it doesn’t, then you guys understand why...

Why can’t rendering be free

I used TapGlanceInteriorDesign for a bit and I don’t like the way you have a limited amount of renders and without the subscription, you have no renders, which, is not a great idea cuz you meant TapGlanceInteriorDesign pretty much to render interiors, so I think you should maybe without the subscriptions, you can still render but with the subscriptions, you get better options like 4K or Panorama. You know what I mean. Anyways, if you possibly can, please leave me feedback asap so to alert me something, or let me know you have read this. Have a good day/night!

Great, needs more.

I’ve used TapGlanceInteriorDesign and another app from the creator for years. App works well and you can really be creative with all the tools. I have some requests though, there isn’t a roof option and i think that would really add to it, as well as some more furniture options. but TapGlanceInteriorDesign really is great.. and free! would recommend over any other interior design app.

Easy to use, but . . .

I like TapGlanceInteriorDesign. It has some features I really appreciate, like multiple floors, stairways that actually go to a higher floor, "breaks" that create open ceilings, decent (but not great) materials options to name a few. The ability to create a new material is nice, as is identification of one you've already used.

On the other hand, there is no roof option, rooms cannot be resized except on the build page, and furniture types are limited. Outside wall coverings are limited to stone, brick and stucco. Window shutters are also missing.

There's more, both pro and con - but all in all - I like TapGlanceInteriorDesign.

App crashes, no support on website

Recently I’ve not been able to use TapGlanceInteriorDesign for more than a couple of minutes at a time before it crashes. Ive read numerous complaints regarding this same issue and followed every possible solution with no positive results. Today I noticed a couple of my larger plans are no longer available. I’ve invested hours into these projects and don’t wish to lose this work. I would pay to have this fixed but it seems even your website has dropped the ball on providing any help for troubleshooting. This is my last attempt at getting issues fixed before I move on to a more reliable app.

Amazing App

TapGlanceInteriorDesign is good. I have been looking for an interior design and home design app that allows me to use many pieces of furniture from one section without having to buy it and I download 5 at once and this is the only app I kept. I absolutely love it however it does get a little annoying when you want to make a different shaped room and it goes red and back to the normal shape. All in all it’s a great app, I definitely recommend it!

Most amazing and versatile app I own

Thank you guys so much for making and then reinventing, for the better, such a complicated and useful app. I have designed so many tiny homes with your app. It is incredibly useful.

I have found out after the long-haul that most things I think you guys didn't include are simply difficult to figure out. My most recent but also repeating query is how to create a porch, ground level or upper level/placing a roof/and more importantly, upper staircase landings? Ya know the hole in the floor that needs to happen?

If yall could reply to me and give me a helping hand on these items it would perfect the glance tap experience for me!

Thanks so much for making architectural designing available to the commoners.

Truly.

AMAZING!❤️

I have been looking for a good home design app for awhile, and I thought this one was going to be the same as the others. Pay 42$ and you can save your house. But this is completely free, and has all the same features as the apps that cost money. I love everything about TapGlanceInteriorDesign, the controls, the colors, the furniture, everything! I just have one suggestion. Can you please add more pets? Thank you!

Great, easy to use app, you guys rock! But...

It would be so great if you would update the library with today’s furniture styles, both modern and transitional. Companies like Arhaus and Mitchell Gold are tasteful and have wide appeal.

I really like TapGlanceInteriorDesign and have used it for years. I would be so grateful of you would put the vertical rotation back in the updated version so I can make the pillows upright on the sofa. 😊

Thanks for TapGlanceInteriorDesign...it’s great!

Great for visual people

Got TapGlanceInteriorDesign to create a 3-D image of the house we are building. App is easy to use and quite functional for amateurs. I wish there was a little more flexibility and customization with things like designing modular closets, cabinets and shelving. But otherwise, it's a great product for only $10. Please keep adding new features.

I love it!

Love it! For real life designs though you lose square footage with your walls, you have some space in between them but not enough. Generally, it’s 4 1/2 inches for interior walls and 5 1/2 for exterior walls, i can’t use this for real life designs without those measurements being taken away. Pease fix this!

Great App but...

11/13 Update: They addressed my number two issue! Custom objects. By the way the to send a custom object from your Mac just export as DAE and then put it in a zip file and Airdrop to iPad then choose TapGlance to open it and it will import! THIS IS WONDERFUL! Now if only there was some scale control of textures on objects in both x and y axis it would be a game changer!

Original Review:
Overall great app but a few added features would make it 5 star:

1) Control over texture mapping tiling. It’s very difficult to get custom textures to the right scale.
2) Import custom objects, library is too limited.
3) Open doors more than 90 degrees.
4) Camera focal length control.

Ok game just hate the renders

I love to decorate and design homes (not real ones though). So when I found TapGlance, I tried it and loved it. I know why you have the renders, to get money. It’s just, my dad won’t let me use money for the internet. And I wish you could just have the renders free and already in the game.
I wish I could give you 5 stars it’s just the renders I really want them but I can’t have them.

Love it!

Love TapGlanceInteriorDesign, there’s a few things that can be fixed, like the search bar doesn’t search for the things I look for but other than that, TapGlanceInteriorDesign is pretty cool and far better than any other interior design app. I would love to see a retail interior design app soon!
