I really want to love this game, and do love many aspects of it, but even after numerous communications to the developers (with only limited and extraordinarily slow response in return) I remain immensely frustrated by the effect of hacker/cheaters in tournaments, and especially the extremely obvious ones in the Heroes Tournaments!

Better rule enforcement is needed to prevent individuals from exceeding the limits of normal gameplay to rise to the top of the tournament roster with end-game levels within the first hour or two of the tournament, and clearly with several times the scores of the best normal players below them. I have screenshots from numerous tournaments that clearly demonstrate that this is happening, and continue to forward them to the developers, but without any apparent concern on their part to update Tap Titans against the hacks, now that Tap Titans 2 is out. It is totally unfair to all the players who are trying to play the original game fairly!

Unfair play aside, this game has many worthy attributes, and would otherwise be worthy of a top rating. Developers, please fix the hacker problem, for as long as this shameful situation continues, it stands as a black mark against your prowess as programmers, and lowers our interest in any of Game Hives's other offerings!

After having a good time for a few days and realizing the progressive difficulty I decided to start trying read the descriptions of the upgrades and do things more strategically. However upon doing so I realized that as you mindlessly do upgrades to all your heroes, the upgrades don't work right. Do an upgrade on a hero for 250% DPS increase and their damage goes from 10.0 to 11.5. The upgrades that add 0.4% of hero DPS to Tap Damage actually adds 40%, so Tap Damage is insanely powerful. In the end though this breaks the game. It should be a gradual progression each run should get you a little bit further, however because of the math errors I have been stuck at 510 for about 10 runs with no sign of improvement. I realized that if you just upgrade your heroes with the 0.4% upgrade then upgrading your actual Tap Damage does absolutely nothing. I literally left it at 1 until I hit stage 510, then upgraded it to 1700 and it was the exact same damage.

TLDR: Good Game, but currently Broken.

I get it the devs want to focus on tap titans 2 but I and many other people don’t enjoy that game as much as the original tap titans and it’s sad to see the developers abandon us and not fix huge issues like tournaments aren’t even a thing anymore they show up but the servers for them are shut down so a huge way to progress using relic potions is gone and is next to impossible to get the weapons with the daily dungeon because it only comes in the 7th day and is all rng if you get a hero weapon you don’t already own I luckily have 29/33 but on one hero I have 7-8 weapons and is entirely useless on an early game hero that you pass so quickly that extras damage is not even noticed for the race to chester. I just want to see this game as it was I’m not asking for new patches I just want key features of the game to actually be there and not just left out or bugged with no word from the dev that they are working on fixing it.

I loved this game. It's wonderful. It has just the right balance of "easy to play" and "plays itself if you want it to". But that was another time. The game isn't being focused on anymore, and I think that if you're gonna download either for the first time, choosing TT1 instead of TT2 would be a mistake. Tournaments require servers, the servers have been shut down. End game progress requires more work because you can't farm Tournaments for points that used to give you additional damage. So yeah. Kinda disappointing, especially since we didn't get a "Hey, since we're turning off the servers, here's a gift of enough Tournament points to get you all the end game stuff" gift, like some games do.

It's time to move on. The developers certainly have.

I love this game and it's addicting and hard to or down but I don't know if anyone's had the same problems I have and it's becoming a major problem. This has happened quite a lot, where I'll be on a high level and try to auto save and it will not work and it will say I'm 300 levels away from where I really am. I also spend some money on diamonds to give me a boost in some tough places. Once I prestige and get off the game and come back it's put me back before I've prestige, 300 levels away where cloud save said I was. It also doesn't give me my diamonds I've bought after cloud save. It's becoming a waste of time and money. I don't know if this game has an auto save or not but it'd be really helpful if it auto saved after a certain level.

So, ive played for a long awhile now, the game has worked w/out a hitch.. Until I bought some diamonds, on a Monday. I did my usual tourney that day- no problem. I did another tourney on Tuesday night. It works until Wednesday, and I get a "Can't Connect to Server, Connection Failure, Error". I get fairy ads/video ads and they go through

And now on a Saturday I get this Unable to connect error.. When I try to join a tourney. It only has this problem at that time. Heck even Tap Titans 2 works and so my other games.. My sports apps and Facebook and twitter works..

So either my internet is bad, I'm cursed or something, or your servers don't work or a bug appeared .And i had no problems until this week. And I did buy diamonds if that helps.. But that was on a Monday.

I had this game a very long time ago and it was great. I played with my friends and we’d all tap forever. Unfortunately, I decided that I don’t like tap games so I uninstalled it. Years later, me and my friends get this game for the memories and we try to connect and it shows that we can’t. We even connected to Facebook.

Besides the multiplayer incident, there’s been big flaws. An example will be tournaments. Whenever I try joining they say “Unable To Connect” and something about connection. On top of that, when you go into the settings and turn off Multiplayer, the game freezes and crashes.

This game is still pretty awesome but these flaws can turn very major in the future.

It's a pretty good time waster. It's fun pushing the limit to see how far you can get before you prestige. Each time you prestige, you get X amount of relics. The amount of relics you earn is based off of your characters level, your group level, and the stage in the game you reach. You use the relics to buy artifacts which give you a variety of bonuses such as additional damage, or more dropped gold while playing. It's a pretty fun game, but can get boring. When it gets boring for me, I just let my characters grind for me offline, and when I open the game again, level them up, advance to a stage proportionate to my team's strength, and close the game. So either way you want to play, I think it's fun. I did buy the lowest possible amount of diamonds to get rid of the ads, so it makes the game a little more bearable. One final bit, I would not recommend spending diamonds on anything except buying things for your character, and there's no need to actually spend cash for diamonds. You get plenty of free ones in game through drops, events, ads, and weekly login awards.

You fight monsters and level up heroes. That's what somebody that got one minute of playtime that tried to explain the game to you would say. But when you go under the surface, you see other game mechanics, such as bosses killing heroes, the dungeon, and the AMAZING art style that will hook anybody in.

To be honest, this game had no competition. There was clickers heroes on the Pc, but nothing came close for the smartphone and tablet. It wasn't until 2016 that it got some competition, in the form of Slash Mobs, a blatant ripoff of Tap Titans that became popular because various YouTubers played the game.

This game was, and still is ambitious. It took the concept of Cookie clicker on the Pc, (It first came out on the Pc) And added some action elements. This game made the tapping games who they are with all sorts of new concepts. You can thank this game for prestiges, unlock able abilities, and maybe the term, "tapping game."

Overall, an influential game that stood the test of time.

This game is really fun. It's not hard to beat the bosses, but there is a bit of a challenge. There are other games sort of like this, but I haven't seen a game like this before. The art style is fun, and if you don't have time to stay and tap to beat the stages, just leave TapTitans for a while and you've got a ton of money to upgrade with! The little heroes are super cute, and it's fun to see what stage comes next! This is a great game, and I hope it keeps its 5 star rating for a long time.

This game is definitely worth downloading. It's fun, easy to figure out how to play, fairly easy game if you do it the right way, quick leveling, daily rewards from beating a boss, buying gems isn't really needed bc earning them in the game isn't all that hard at first, the list for me goes on and on. Just a great game in general. Didn't see any reviews of lag or crashes but saw someone mention that it does not and it certainly does not. If ur using and older device stop blaming the game and upgrade ur device. Certain apps aren't meant to be run on junk. 😊

When I first downloaded Tap Titans I was joking with my friend saying, "Dude you have to play this its the best game ever." Having never even played it myself.

Now it's been 2 years later and I'm still tapping away. The first Hurdles will come at you early but after you beat them you will be waiting for the next one.

Thanks for the second play through character now just add customizable outfits for her and you will have the new content we have been waiting for.

Tournaments are a blast and worth doing if you aren't already on a mission. relics add the luck factor which I enjoy and getting weapons for you group adds another layer of incentive for playing and doing at least your dailies everyday.

Perks are easy to farm and doesn't give the gemmer too much of an advantage for sliding their credit card.

Every achievement feels like a real feat and something worth striving to get. Continue tapping Sword Masters!

I've had this game app for over a year now. When I grist start I was completely hooked. But when I got all the heroes & I don't even have to tap any more. So it got boring. But then their were tournaments, 2 different kinds where in each u win something different. But when that got boring I stopped a month later opened it. And their was a female version. (Which I love bec {I'm a female}) when ever this game get 'boring' they come out with something else to give it back the spark! Love the game. Definitely recommend the download!

I started playing Tap Titans in April, 2016. The firs 5 months I didn't participate in any tournaments, I just didn't have any interest. Fast forward to September, 2016 and I played my first tournament which is the Monday, "Heroes Tournament". Needless to say, I was hooked on tourney play.

Late in 2016, there was a glitch in the servers that allowed people to level WAY beyond their max stage. Unaware of what was going on, I leveled to stage 3,300. Since then, I've been placed in more difficult tournament brackets each week, which doesn't seem fair. Since Game Hive released Tap Titans 2 , they seem to have abandoned this game.

This Game An Amazing App Store Hidden Gem. I Like The Unique but not too in-your-face art style, Creative Monsters, Having A Bond With Your Heroes, And Good Level Variety. But, Around Stage 70, There's A Pay Wall 🙄🤑. Why I'm Calling it A Pay Wall Is Because I Wanted To Level Up My Troops To Level 100, And I'm Not Even Done And I've Spent About $15 In Diamonds💎. But The Game Is Free, So They're Just Making A Living And Not Making Totally Free Apps. And You Don't Even Need To Do The Pay Wall, Just Grind. It's just that if you're impatient like me, grinding for loot is your worst enemy 😝. Either way, I Rate 5/5 And My Favorite App. Great Game, Really Worth Trying Out.

I started playing this game a year ago, and I can't stop playing. I have to constantly keep my fingers busy doing something, and this game satisfies that need perfectly! When I log in for the day I'm always excited to go upgrade crazy and spend all the gold in seconds.
The developers are dear to my heart because, even to this day, they keep on updating it. New features pop up all the time and it keeps the replay-ability going.
I highly recommend this game to anyone that needs something to pass the time and a game to keep coming back to with something new.

I love tap titans and I recently got it back and started playing. Once I got to somewhat higher level I started to experience problems. I wasn’t able to prestige which is extremely important to the overall gameplay and I was able to get the day five reward. Every time I tried doing either of those things it would always say connect to internet when I had full bars. I seriously doubt this review will be seen and something will actually be done about it. Please fix this problem I've seen multiple reddit pages saying people are having the same problem.

The game is great, no lag no crashes and I love games where it is really easy because strategy games I hate because it takes more than 10 minutes to figure out how to beat it and this one you just have to tap which I love tapping and it is fun the upgrades are the things that make you stronger and there IS A BACKSTORY!!!!! Go to the upgrade yourself bar and then tap on yourself not where it says upgrade but tap yourself or just prestige! It is a backstory! Tapping games are awesome and I love them and if they say it is the worst game ever why don't they go look at Jetpig Joyride and no not Jetpack Joyride, I said JetPIG Joyride. That game stinks. Stop hating on this awesome game.

This game almost has no end. It's a great way to kill a ton of time. Though when I started playing it seemed so difficult to just be able to prestige. But when you prestige once, it becomes so much easier to progress and gain artifacts. I have had the game for about 10 days and I'm on my 4th prestige. The tournaments make it even easier to progress with rewards like weapon upgrades, diamonds and tournament points. When the game is off you hero is still working and gaining money for you so when you get on you have loads of money to spend on heroes. You need to get this game because it is so much fun.

I like Tap Titans, it's a fun game and it is interactive which i love. But a few things I have problems with. When ads come up, I don't mind it at all, but I hate that when you have your abilities activated the ad makes them run out if you want to watch it, and so you have to skip the ad in order to use your abilities which is a pain. Also if you are watching an ad and a big boss comes up, the timer is still going on and may kill your heroes in the process which is a headache. Overall it's a fun game but it needs to be tweaked to make it excellent.
