Bait & switch and for sure in app purchases

Version unusable without paying. Right now I am seeing two (2) aircrafts at and around ORD a busy Saturday morning. Flightradar24 shows no less than 42 aircrafts in their free version.

Wow! What an App

Any time I resize the screen, FlightRadarPlaneTracker24 gave me a 15-second wait and a message says Resetting ATC radar or something like that... Plus, any setting/option I choose, FlightRadarPlaneTracker24 shows a pop-up window telling me to upgrade... HMM, want me to pay for an app, it better first proof it's worth rather that all the hassles and made felt being a trap. Bad App and bad marketing philosophy.

Why buy

I would not ever buy one of apps when I use once every other year.

Very bad

It does not shows all flights and no information.

Useless unless you upgrade to pro

I can’t figure out the purpose of FlightRadarPlaneTracker24. It does nothing but tells me to upgrade to pro. It has no other functionality.

Almost not worth it

Pop up ads every 30 seconds. So disruptive that you can’t even evaluate FlightRadarPlaneTracker24 to see if it’s worth buying the pro version.

In between commercial disruptions, FlightRadarPlaneTracker24 has potentials, but too aggravating to operate.

Quality of data and app is not great

I appreciate that this has a one-time payment to remove ads, instead of a subscription. I also like that you can buy the pro version directly, not just as an in-app purchase.

But, I’m disappointed overall. Compared with other flight radar apps, it does seem to be missing quite a few flights - that’s the main point of FlightRadarPlaneTracker24. Beyond that, FlightRadarPlaneTracker24 experience isn’t as nice as some others: for example, after losing data connection for a moment, FlightRadarPlaneTracker24 gave me a popup I had to dismiss, and wouldn’t automatically refresh even after the connection came back. Additionally, FlightRadarPlaneTracker24 ’s web page -which is listed as where to get support - does not resolve (and hasn’t, for at least the last few days).

Worked okay

I downloaded a couple flight tracking apps, hoping for better information about what was flying over my rural home. FlightRadarPlaneTracker24 got a lot of negative reviews, but I don't know if they were deserved.
I used FlightRadarPlaneTracker24 for less than a day, but several times. Other than ads popping up, it worked well enough.
The aircraft were not effectively identified. The numbers corresponded with the information on other apps, but the pictures of smaller planes were wrong, showing as a clip art of a passenger plane.
Another difference was the altitude of the aircraft between apps. Which was right? I don't know. I'm just noting a difference.

Flightradar24

Not as good as the older app.

No planes show up

I have several of these types of apps so I tend to compare them against each other. That might not be fair to the apps themselves, but that's just how I do it.

MiFlightRadar shows a map image that's identical to most of the others. The flight data is up to 15min delayed but they don't mention that some data might be real-time so I'm not sure if they display any real-time flights. FlightRadarPlaneTracker24 is generally ok but the airplane images are comically large and flat (not to my liking).

Why?

In the airport, all the planes are in one spot ( the center ). Also, when you are looking to get around when you make the screen bigger it just lags back to a smaller screen, Finally, when your looking for a plane you can see that all planes have 4 engines ( two on each side ) and when you click on the plane it might be 2 engines ( one on each side )

Enh.

I’m watching a plane fly by and FlightRadarPlaneTracker24 can’t even find it.

Flight Radar used to work quite well, now I’m looking for a different solution.

Excellent Tracking!

Thanks.....

Works well

Smooth app

Not good

I tried free version to slow screen slow to update

Planes

FlightRadarPlaneTracker24 was awesome it helps people find their mom or family if they traveled to a different state

Love the app

Love watching where my loved ones are with FlightRadarPlaneTracker24

Grat app

I live out away from big city but enjoy looking at jets flying over my home and know what they are

Active Flight info

Very informative & good live info

Very good

and Very Nice

Bad app

FlightRadarPlaneTracker24 has to many glitches it even has a long timer to upgrade and it even tells you to buy the pro version to remove timer. FlightRadarPlaneTracker24 is really bad. Wouldn't recommend it.

Demo only

Should be called DEMO.

Useless for identifying the noisy jet overhead, since it only gives you access to a small random sample of planes.

With the filter set to "show all size planes" it only showed 2 of the 20 planes in the area identified by Flightradar24.

Only useful to see how the paid version might work, and should be immediately deleted afterwards.

There is no reason to keep FlightRadarPlaneTracker24 on your phone, since the random sample limitation makes it useless for anything you might want to look up.

This app is not useful

I recommend FlightAware since it actually works and it's free. FlightRadarPlaneTracker24 requires payment to upgrade for tracking flights. FlightAware shows actual flight tracking FREE!!!!!

Save your time and money and don't bother with this POS app!
