I’ve been a subscriber since almost the beginning, I was actually drawn to the site after Dejan left the Trib and I wanted to keep reading his columns. As time has gone on, the staff has grown and there are some really talented and dedicated Beat Writers covering each team. The Beat Writers get 5 stars, no doubt. They’re physically at every game, you get quick updates, and unique content often. I don’t think you’ll find better coverage for all the local teams. As for the creator/columnist, DK: he gets 1 Star. What started out with awesome columns for each team with u okie perspectives and topics has turned into “I told ya so’s” of him just referencing his own predictions, patting himself on the back, and then trying to argue with any readers in the comments - or sometimes even in follow up columns - when someone disagrees with him. The COVID-19 pandemic also seems to have brought the worst of this habit out, as his columns have become more about him playing the role of public health expert (whether he’ll admit it or not) and less and less about sports. I’m probably going to remain a subscriber solely off the hard work the other writers add to the site, but DK himself has nearly driven me away half a dozen times, at least.

DKPittsburghSports has worked great for me. Because it is a new platform, DKPittsburghSports evidently has had issues (I never experienced any) in the past but the DK team is very responsive, works with the developer to quickly resolve them and they report on the status on the site regularly. They’re also consistently working to enhance the user experience. Hence the 5 stars. The quality of the content is a bargain for the price, and a bonus is being able to post on the comment section and exchange reviews with other loyal Pittsburgh fans.

Gave it two stars because Molinari is there and DK does write some good stuff occasionally. Pirates coverage is terrible, Lolley might be the biggest Steelers homer I’ve read, I don’t read Haase’s information because it’s usually bad and I can find the information an hour before. DK seems to be more interested in podcasting anymore.

The new app is a train wreck. Can’t find articles, can’t get basic information. I’d cancel my subscription but I can’t find billing information on the new site/app to cancel or see how much time is left on my subscription. Can’t get an answer through support (5 emails sent without a response and counting) my questions in the comments section get deleted. Terrible customer support.

Quality content as I've come to expect from DK and crew. However, he app is lacking. As others have noted, it can be quite annoying to have to login every single visit. I also have issues with NO AUDIO from the videos within the articles. I will be uninstalling, for now.

Edit - adjusted to 5 stars, as login issues and audio issues are no longer present. Fantastic app!!

I live in the Philly area and follow Pittsburgh daily. My only source is DK Pittsburgh Sports where their writing is superior and timely. This (free) podcast is updated constantly and filled with Pens, Steelers and Bucs content primarily from writers. I have written exactly 1 review in this space and this is it. They’ve built a community that I literally rely on every day.

DKPittsburghSports and content are great. But DKPittsburghSports needs an update for iOS 15. Push notifications no longer work, and per Apple DKPittsburghSports needs an update to sync with iOS 15. DKPittsburghSports still works fine, but notifications no longer work.

Been a fan of DK’s work basically since I first got the internet in 97 or so. As a displaced Pittsburgh sports fan, his writing always helped me feel connected to my favorite City. DKPittsburghSports itself makes it easier to tap and read about whichever team I feel like catching up on at any given moment. Great stuff. Get some.

Why can’t we pinch to zoom on images and documents and view video in full screen? Just opened the Penguins roster pdf on my iPhone. I would need a magnifying glass to read it because I can’t zoom in. Brings me back to Pens season last year when they posted some great video breakdown, but it couldn’t be viewed in full screen. This seems like it should be a simple and obvious fix.

Credit to leadership for always listening to user feedback. The newest app updates have been exactly what we needed. Great content is accessed quickly with layout of menu buttons. Bravo!

This is my go to site for Pittsburgh professional sports coverage. Very in depth coverage for the Pens, Pirates and Steelers.

As an out of towner, this site is my lifeline to my favorite sports teams. The subscription price is an absolute steal for the terrific content you get.

DKPittsburghSports works flawlessly. I never had any of the issues that some of the other users did but, the tweaks and reconfiguration in the update have made a good app great. My go to app for Pittsburgh sports.

I LOVE content of DKPittsburghSports! It’s a must have for any pittsburgh team fan. Loads of great stories, and the podcasts are a favorite of mine. BUT I hate that I have to log in every time I want to read a story. Is there a setting that I’m missing to keep me logged in? Other than this, DKPittsburghSports is amazing.

Ever once they have moved to the new format I have not been able to see ANYTHING on the website. I get a constant page that says if you see this message you need to delete the old fomat and install the new one. I have done that 6times and it still does not work properly

Love DKPittsburghSports. All writers deliver great content and the podcasts are exception. Love the Ramon Foster Show as well as DK, Dale and others holding forth on all things Steelers and Penguins. Great to start your day to. Thanks

Great content but I can’t download app because I still have an I phone 6 and I need IOS 13 to run DKPittsburghSports . I subscribe but now I don’t have access to the content. I was planning on upgrading when the 5g phones come out but I don’t like being forced into buying a new phone to use DKPittsburghSports .

Lots of terrific content, beautiful writing, app now loads fast, easy to read, and a great value for anyone who wants to follow the Penguins, Steelers, and Pirates.
