1 star because there that’s the lowest rating possible. Game is constantly crashing right now, bugs are everywhere, and the event is nearly unplayable, and throughout all this, there hasn’t been a word about what’s going on or even if they’re working on a fix. Want an example of a bug? The Event button will randomly change to the Quest button and you need to repeatedly press another menu button in order to make the Event button reappear. All this makes it seem like the devs don’t care for the game and are just trying to push people away. Well good on you if that’s what you’re going for, because it’s working.

It used to be great back in 2015, but nowadays they have technical issues that take forever to resolve or are just outright ignored. Just solving server issues, that get automatically resolved in the real world using a script for non on-premise solutions, have taken extraordinarily long periods of time that could last up to a week.

Right now they have an event going on for four days so far, yet it’s plagued with connectivity / stability issues and has not been resolved in any of the four days. There has also been no public acknowledgement from them during this time. In ANY normal or startup companies this issue could be fixed in about two to five minutes top by a single fresh college graduate within the field or automatically using a script. Yet they’re group of “professionals” have taken longer than four days to tackle severe issues with no end in sight.

After playing this game for two years here are my thoughts 1) first they have the same 3 or 4 events on a repeat cycle and there is never any new events or gameplay. Gets boring fast. 2) they expect you to spend $600 plus trying to get any new characters to play. And yes if they say on your 25th try youll get the character they mean 25th. Each roll is 3000 coins or $30 plus tax. 3) what is worse they have built the new series of bosses (sprites,tarots, etc) to basically be undefeatable unless you have paid a lot of money to create a 9 star team. 4) relating to 3, when you do gamble for stronger cards, with higher dmg, higher skill chance, burst gauge, special skills guess what.? You cant use this with the boss fights. They reduce your skill chance to point of non existence, they dont allow burst, they reduce your dmg, and you cant use skills because they are reset each turn…so why bother even getting stronger cards! I would not recommend this game as you can see why.

I’ve been playing his game for quite awhile but ended up stepping away from it for 2 and a half years then came back recently. I never experienced this problem playing this game before but it has now happened quite a lot now. I am trying to purchase crowns, literally giving them my money but it always says that I have a purchase limit set on me. I don’t know why so I tried everything and I mean everything to try and fix this problem. At first I thought it was AgeofIshtaria Store itself but I searched it up and did everything I could that would restrict me from paying but nothing seems to be working. I just want this to be fixed and it’s crazy to me that I can’t purchase anything.

Okay, so I love this game and all, but the purchase limits are stupid as hell. I get it, minors shouldn’t be over spending, but hell is it idiotic that you can only spend $50 a month if you’re under 13. Seriously, the developers aren’t our parents and shouldn’t get to decide how much we spend monthly. Now, I don’t know what the cause for this was, but please remove it or at least change the values. I played this game on a different account about a year or 2 ago and it was fine. Please do something about this as this is a really great game but the purchase limits cheapen it. Thanks for reading!

I would love to give this game 5 stars, but sadly can't. I've been playing this game since 2015 and absolutely love it and all the events. However, over the past year or so there have been a lot of changes and an awful lot of technical issues. Support seems to take their time in responding and resolving any issues. There's also little to no compensation for the inconvenience. I recently experienced an issue that left me unable to enjoy the full game. I contacted support and provided screenshots. They had no solution for me aside from me waiting while they forwarded the information to their technical department. Over a week later they resolved my issue, but at the cost of my time, energy, and patience (not to mention all the in game rewards/events I missed out on). Upon fixing they sent an email saying they apologize, appreciate my patience, and will hold onto my email and use it for future updates to make the game better. :/

The game used to be fine, the gameplay was simple yet deck building was fun. Lots of emphasis on pvp. However lately the game has been suffering with MASSIVE power creep, not even a creep more like a tidal wave.

The game revolves around the huge whale players and those that pull overpowered offensive units in the fire element. To combat this spike in power they released cancerous plats and 8* which other elements can’t even touch (gilles and scatach for castitas). There is no point in getting units in other elements because no one in their right mind will spend money to pull for earth/null/water units when the fire counterpart is much stronger. No one will buy defense units before offense. Please balance the game instead of trying to just out cancer castitas.

I started playing this game mostly over my quarantine hours because it look a lot alike to another game called Grand Sphere I played before. I enjoyed it and the characters are not that difficult to get, it just that they need to put a much more informations in the help option in my opinion because I was having a difficult time with all that “Evolve-Enhances-Break” sections, and plus I need to know where to earn Items for my mission. Still, it isn’t that bad. The characters are as pretty as my other game and I enjoyed playing it during my spare time! Good Job :)

The art is beautiful and story very interesting but there no male character. 90% of the female character is overly sexualize. Any male one that we get usually is knights. If you sexualize the female do the same for the male. Some of the character is basically naked with a piece of clothing cover their no no parts so this game won’t be rate 18+. There’s no gameplay. All you need to do is get character 6 stars or higher and max their level. Put it in the right order and click the auto button. I never have to pay attention unless it is rift bosses. Why is it 9+ some of the character are clearly pushing that age thing. It should be pg 13 at least. There are other less fan service game and violence that gotten a way higher rating. So I gave this game a try it was ok went through the tutorial and everything got 2 of the same 7 star and remembered the merging feature to make them +1 so I went to the enhanced section and fused it to itself except it didn’t become +1 I just ended up using it as fusion fodder which is a bummer. So I scroll through the games confusing UI and check the help section and can’t find any proper information on how to +1 a unit, I decide to just go on the internet but still after searching for 10 minutes on the web I still can’t find out how to properly do this basic feature which I’ve done on other mobiles games easily because of how it was implemented it those games. decided to delete the game because of this lack of transparency from this game, game itself isn’t bad but the lack of information on how to use certain features was a major turn off for me.

I was a loyal player to the game for over a year. I went from a very active player that spent money to free to play player. I spent countless hours playing the events and planning them to get the rewards I wanted. I had to stop playing from work and I tried to log in recently. To my surprise silicon studios decided to suspend my account indefinitely. How can someone do something wrong when he was unable to play for several months. That is beyond me. Just a money hungry company looking for money.

Game crashes when trying to enter any type of battle or quest ever since the 1.0.20 update. Using iphone xr. Have been sorely missing out on benefits from events, so tried reinstalling AgeofIshtaria which was a huge mistake since none of my progress from 5+ year’s was there and now it wants me to start over. Was a good run even payed money. My ratings down for now, moving on.

I love this game so much it’s awesome I could play for days and not get tired, its simple and fun to imagine that I’m murdering hundreds of monsters every hour! That didn’t come out right, but the point is that the game is fun!

My one problem with this game is that it’s almost impossible to save I’m on my third game now and it breaks my heart when I can’t get a previous profile back, but it’s still fun to play even from the beginning!

This game deserves a five star average not less, it has a low rating and I don’t think it shows what this game is truly like, play the game for yourself to see! It’s definitely in my top three favorite games ever!

I’ve been playing this game for almost a year now and I can say that it’s a great TCG. Unlike most TCGs now you are able to trade units so being f2p is a bit more manageable. Also, with the trading system they have trades are a bit more regulated and fair. I’ve spent money to support AgeofIshtaria but I know many who are strong f2p players. There are many different artists doing work for the units so it’s easy for everyone to find a favorite for collecting. The one thing I would recommend is to introduce new units not remixes of the same ones (Avi/Guna/etc.) I’d highly recommend trying AoI out!

The company has gotten really responsive to issues lately, not letting them sit there for forever.

I would recommend that a non-pay-to-play keep in mind this is a p2p oriented game but it’s entirely possible to be part of the “hardcore” community of the game if you give the game time, love, and effort. Otherwise it’s fun to collect cards and play the events even as a casual player.

As a f2p I am able to enjoy the game even as the company gets a bit more greedy for money with some of the pull deals these days.

This is a game that requires you to play every event to get decent rewards. The only way to get the best things is to spend on the packs though, you won’t rank very high unless you do so. There are a few thousand active players so no need to worry about not being able to hit ranks. With just minimal daily effort, you can reach ranks in the top 500 even at low levels. Just be warned that most people have spent quite a bit to get to where they are now.

If you like collecting characters as cards then this is the game for you! It’s a ton of fun and super addicting! There really is no pay to play in this game either! If you work hard and grind you can easily be one of the best players! There’s always an event going on too and there’s lots to do! I did spend $30 just to support the game because I love it so much! I go through hundreds of apps so only the best ones stay on my phone and this is one of them!

I don't know why AgeofIshtaria has so many bad reviews. Sure there are misspellings and such, but overall I love how many new events and cards come out. It's refreshing to experience an update every week or so. The card art is also amazing (most of the time). I've only been playing three months but this game already has me hooked. The game is fairly easy on F2P players as well, as long as you are wise with your crown currency.

I really love games with unique characters and characters development. (They might not be called characters but I see them as that) Ishtaria is amazing when it comes to their characters or the storylines the different characters play on. I enjoy the many different types of characters you can get either from quests, packs, event rewards, etc. My favorite is probably 7 star Persephone, she has a really cool summary when you find her in the album and looks really powerful if you set her as your leader. It’s cool that they are on cards and you have decks and can trade them, it kinda reminds me of when I used to have Pokemon cards and traded them between my friends. Again I really love Ishtaria and all the unique character cards. I would recommend it to anyone who likes that kind of game.

If you're tired of spending so much $$$ on other similar games, this is your chance to enjoy an awesome game. Unlike many other game where the items are (bound), all traceable items can be used as one pleases. More over, even a low can can be boosted up to a good atk/defense. So don't hesitate to give it a try.
I had left this game more than a year, after loosing so much $$ on other games, I’m happy to come back.
