I really liked this game a few years ago because it was so simple. Collect cookies. Buy things that give you more cookies. Prestige for a big boost. But as several updates go on, it’s gotten super confusing and can easily confuse newer players.

With every half-baked update for this game, I always see major changes, not just adding new features, but making things easier, such as “2X more Rainbow Cookies!!” which brings me to my next point.

This game is V͟͟E͟͟R͟͟Y confusing as a veteran cookie collector. So many features added and removed! Like the dark portal, free rainbow cookies every few hours or so, loot bags, and the light cookie machine. Oh? I can earn league cookies from daily quests? Oh? I can't anymore? Please just come up with an idea and stick with it. With all the additions to this game, you might as well make a third game. (Yes, this is a sequel, or at least used to be before it was rebranded from Cookie Collector 2)

One of the recent updates completely killed my progression. The showcase item boosts are now additive instead of multiplicative, which made me go from being able to buy and upgrade all cookie sets and structures to not even being able to get to any of the last few cookie sets without spending hundreds of thousands of rainbow cookies on time warps. I went from about duosexagintillion to dequintillion, which makes getting the cupcakes for another showcase item impossible. Also, dark upgrades are also much harder to get because of the lack of a showcase bonus. Before, I was able to nearly max out all dark upgrades, but now, I can’t even come close.

Besides this, the game is great.

Your system is brilliant, the upgrades are cool, and the cookies I have, I can't even begin to describe. Once again, I have to thank you for making this free.

My one problem is that Mastery Ranks for earlier cookie sets are impossible to obtain late-game. This makes some achievements unobtainable for players like me. I saw a suggestion in another review to be able to turn off cookie sets, and that sounds like an excellent idea, and a great fix to this problem. If this could be added in the next update, or even a few from now, I might be able to finally get those sweet achievements. Maybe you would be able to stop individual cookies from appearing so I could get those Peanut Butter Mastery Ranks...

Another thing, I’m having a problem where my cookies’ Mastery Ranks won’t register when being collected. My production has decreased by about 10,000,000x because of this. I have to sell my bakery to fix it, but the issue comes back a few minutes later.
