Honestly I'm disappointed MeWe , if I was to refere a social media app to my friends it would be Facebook or Instagram. I found there's 2 personal pages duplicated, thus I think I just deleted one of them. While I would like to login again, it said my account is invalid, then I tried to sign up a new account, it said the email address was being used. All are referring to the same email address. Is MeWe a spam? I have unsubscribed a page. Yes, it works. But in order to avoid being charged even after I have unsubscribed it after trial period, I have decided to delete my account as well, but it is not working. Key in my password, but informed me that the password is incorrect. So I change to new password, and tried again to delete my account but it is not working at all. I have had several issues with this app within the recent past. It seems to have thrown me out for no good reason. I suspect that my posts and data are being manipulated from "inside." Additionally, my profile picture is shown as a sandwich (whatever you call that emoji); even though I gave my picture.. At this rate, you might just lose your followers eventually. My posts disappear. What's going on? Check your staff!! Your app is attracting hackers. I sense some bias as well. I don't generally post unacceptable info; I've seen some posts which could be considered such, yet accepted.

I am locked out of my account for reasons unknown. I don't know why I can't get on my account. Every time I try to log on it tells me incorrect password try again. I check my password and email and it's correct. Then I go to reset password and then it tells me it could not find my account. What is going on? I am unable to get back to my account. Am I blocked or shut down for a specific reason? I don't post porn or crude stuff, but I have notice porn posts occasionally on comments of group posts , so some one is putting some out there but it is not most of us. I set up a business page after setting up my personal page. My business page is still visible, however I can not access it edit it, and it needs editing. My first complaint about this app is that it’s impossible to get in touch with customer support. Very frustrating. The reason I’m trying to get in touch with MeWe is because I’ve just recently joined and right away started getting contact requests from strangers. I declined the first several, but after a few more started saving them. I currently have 24 pending requests. All complete strangers, not even friends of friends. I doubt they’re even real people and suspect phishing. The few profiles I viewed were pretty empty or vague. I’m just trying to find out if MeWe is aware of this activity, and if so, what they’re doing to address it. Between the lousy customer support and daily pings from strangers, I’m debating whether I want to stay on this app.

I have tried several times to log into my account with my phone number AND email. I have also been trying to log in with my correct password. I have tried the reset password option also and than it says that my phone number and email is not associated with any accounts. Since it was telling me that my phone number and email isn't associated with any accounts, I even tried to create a new account with my phone number and email that I have my account with AND a brand new email. I've owned a mewe group for a few years but have neglected it. Lately, I've discovered that it's gained some members and that they're peeved that I'm not taking care of it. I want to add a moderator but can't remember my login info. While trying to log in, I think I joined my group. I am unable to Log into my account. My account logged itself off and when I tried to Log back in a population UP message said this...Unfortunately, your session expired and couldnt be refreshed. I first registered with my browser using my email address. When I tried to log in with your mobile app I received an invalid phone number error. There no place to change the phone number. I then deleted my account and signed up with my phone number. Now you are holding my email address as taken and I can not add it to my account. You also added a 1 behind my name. Had trouble getting signed up with the app. It would not send a verification code to my email or phone number. The loading circle pops up and just spins forever. I have a mewe account now dispite the app, but I cannot access it on my phone still, because I can’t get past the app log-in. When posting pics they are cut off, you don’t get the entire pic.....for instance I posted a pic and you can only see the bottom half of the face, go look at my page/posts. I have a feeling if I were to ‘upgrade’ and pay for the app (which I will not do) this problem would magically disappear. When setting up my account, I did not grant access to my phone's photo albums thinking I could grant access once everything else was set up. Now, I cannot find that option to allow access anywhere. The only way to post a photo is to take a new picture. When I click on the photo button on my camera screen it does it toggles to the top but touching it just toggles it back down.

This app is awful for blind and visually impaired folks.

This app is terrible for blind and visually impaired users. First of all, all I get when I get into the app after I’ve signed in is the news feed. At the bottom of the app where it has the tabs I tap on more. Then it just shows me that it has sales upgrade journal and a few other things. But there is not an option to post or anything like that. Furthermore, when I get into the groups or something like that it is hard to find a group. Whoever developed this app needs to take a class on how to make it user friendly to the blind and visually impaired. Oh, one more thing. I signed up for premium service. It looks as though at least from a wine person‘s perspective the app does not realize that I signed up for premium service. When I double tap on chat it just tells me a search for a name but it doesn’t give me the option to video chat or anything like that. And when I try to chat with the robot it does things that I don’t know what it’s doing on the screen like a meme or something like that. Sorry folks but your app is absolutely awful for a blind and visually impaired person. Apparently, you need to take some classes and how to make this better. Or just redo the whole entire app.

Even then, it didn’t try straying away from it to become its own thing properly. Why can’t we switch accounts effortlessly similar to Twitter? Why can’t mobile users not see who reshared their post? Why do you have to PAY for a Dark Mode feature? The log-in page on desktop looks almost like an exact copy of FB. Chats particularly group chats are buggy almost impossible to send messages it’s moving too fast. Profile pictures switch from one user to another and picture upload sizes are inconsistent. They definitely require more refinement. Now it’s clear this site is currently a haven for Google+ users such as myself. Unfortunately, it’s differences end at the bold text features. Why not add collections for organization? Or make it possible to link posts? Or once more, make it easier to switch from one account to another (just as the old site). The bold text constantly never works unless you space it first, which not many users are aware of. I may sound hypocritical when mentioning that they should draw more from G+, but i as well have no qualms with FB or Twitter. Nothing necessarily wrong with extracting their best qualities and fusing them into a promising website with its own unique flare. Inspiration is fine. Hopefully this is seen. I’m only giving it 2 stars as it does have potential to be something great.

Starting to Vex Me

Have not fixed issues, have offered solutions and they have not been heeded, group chats are the worst so you have to turn them off because otherwise they blow up your feed, I joined groups to be a part of honorable things like exercise and military veterans, and perverts find me to request contacts through these groups. So if it is about privacy, there is no point in having these social groups when there will always be perverts male and supposedly female on them. They claim privacy but if you freely allow people in no one can be trusted anyway because it seems they don't have any way of screening accounts. Major issues besides perverts: the photos issue I reported multiple times, the Chatrooms, and the auto-notify of you don't choose the "I don't wanna hear anything from strangers in my group" check boxes. I'm trying really hard to be objective but when I tell developers about the problems and after months they are NOT getting fixed, I get annoyed. More than that. I close my wallet to any donation I wanted to help them with.
