Needs to be fixed a lot.

UPDATE:
It froze every level. Can't play anymore. Don't waste your money.

First I wouldn't write a review but couldn't find easy way to connect with customer report. Strike one. I try to report some glitches but not easy to find connect. It is a good app interfaces friendly and very nice. Very real good mahjong game but many areas you can't able to finish and force throws. Calculating points wrong and wrong descriptions.strike two. This game has potential but need to be fixed and more customer friendly. I bought add free version, still need to refresh every time to play add free, strike three. I will be happy to raise ratings when it is corrected..

Keeps crashing

Deals all 1's and crashes

Chicken level only

The game always start with level 0 (chicken level). I tried to set at higher level of play in 3 or 5. But when I started the game, it went back to level 0. Needed to fix this issue.

Still setting level at 0

I do not like to play chicken games but the game keeps setting at level 0.

I thought this was resolved. It has not been.

Game seems good, but no help

Too bad there is no search and no faq.

For instance: to win you must declare "sec vu," but where the hack is a button to do so?
I have a winning hand, but nowhere in the explanations does it tell where the sec vu botton is ...

Was good

When I first got HongKongStyleMahjong, it was my favorite but now it deals all ones or crashes after each deal. I will delete it if it does not get fixed...keep it on your list for when they fix it!

Hangs frequently on ads

Nice and fun but hangs frequently on ads after each round. Must break out and restart each time.

Crashes on orphan hand

Like most of these games I’ve tried it’s not overly challenging. However it is good enough. I was annoyed when HongKongStyleMahjong crashes when I got the orphan hand. Whenever I restart it allows me to resume and try to win again. But it just closes out every time I click win. And it also seems to change some cards in my hand after I discard on the highest level game.

Ok

Major glitch in that you can't eat woo (complete the match) when you have a pong or a row. The game will give the match to another player. Need to fix this. And there are too many ads. There could be more special hands too and more options for not getting chicken hands other than one option.

Tile mysteriously changes during game

Fun game but my tile changes mysteriously during the game. For example, I got a chow of 5,6,7 sticks and then my 8 character tile in my hand changed to a stick card. I forgot what number though. I was hoping to win the game by getting a chow with my 7,8 character tiles but after the 8 changed, I had to change my strategy.

5 stars if a few bugs get fixed

Very nice implementation. Hopefully developer can fix just a few things. It's already been mentioned that a tile in hand randomly changes after making a chow. After a drawn hand, all four hands appeared to keep getting the exact same deal and we kept playing to another draw. This loop repeated three or four times.

Laggy

I love HongKongStyleMahjong for mahjong. I play it on my galaxy s8 no issues but on my iPad Pro 2 it lags! Fix it!

Has a lot of bugs

I love the game but it is not accurate with its play. Even when you've won, it keeps allowing the other players to pong or chow so you don't get the "win" button. Very buggy. Needs improvement.

Good beginners game

I sometime cannot figure out the strategy the game is try for me to keep (ie mixing pongs and chows in the same hand. Overall it's a good game plus you can switch to English, that helps.

A fun traditional mahjong game (not solitaire)

My only complaint is that I can't pay for a no-advertising-between-rounds version. Not a huge deal, just annoying to have click X to make them disappear. Otherwise, I really enjoy playing quick hands when I have a few minutes.

Docked a star for advertising/no paid option.

Please fix

Please fix...every time I play it gives me 13 of the same tiles. It also freezes. Please fix, other than that it's a fun game
