I love the Simply Knitting magazine, (that deserves 5 stars in my opinion, but SimplyKnittingMagazine I have to give a 1) and have been buying them for about 5 years. I have a subscription but just decided to download SimplyKnittingMagazine . It makes it so much easier to buy back copies, but, I paid 5.99 to download an issue that I missed and it let me look through it once and now it just stays at 0%. It won’t open for me again. I even restarted my phone. I would really love to be able to read the issue I just spent money on, if someone would let me know how to fix it. Or if it’s a “bug” fix it. I would gladly give SimplyKnittingMagazine a 5 if this is fixed.

Come on!!! SimplyKnittingMagazine NEVER works. It always shuts down. I’ve never been able to download the issues. Will likely not subscribe again and will stick to buying the physical mag when possible.

Updated to say that SimplyKnittingMagazine continues to make my $$ worthless - how can you steal money and not produce the product I paid for? The support emails go unanswered... even SimplyKnittingMagazine Support linked here in SimplyKnittingMagazine Store goes to a dead link. I think it’s time for a calm to the Better Business Bureau!!

Since the latest update, all the back issues that came with my subscription want me to pay for them. I have tried to restore them, but have not been able to make it work. Even the issue I just received (in the US) shows that I need to pay for it to download. I entered my subscription number according to the directions, but to no avail. This essentially makes SimplyKnittingMagazine worthless.

When you pay for something you do not expect the company to take what you paid for away from you and tell you that you need to create a password to get to what you had paid for. They think this is okay so that they can infringe on your right to privacy and sell it to others. Hope they lost a lot of subscribers,I know I discontinued mine

You can’t access the issues previously purchased before SimplyKnittingMagazine update unless you register on their website. Your information will be collected and you will be tracked. I will no longer purchase any issues from this magazine and I will definitely share this info with my knitting guild.

Even though I purchased the archive ( and, it may only be purchased once) and continue a subscription,
I am not able to access all the titles which I have purchased. I have previously contacted Simply Knitting about this issue and have yet to receive a response with a solution.

Soooo. They have my 90 dollars and I cannot access the issues, BUT, I cannot re purchase!!!

Grrrr. frustrating.

First of all, it was a pain having to deal with switching to the new apps, but what's worse is that they don't work. SimplyKnittingMagazine support is a joke. They offer you a special edition for free if you update your subscription, but I didn't get mine. When I've contacted support, they just ignore what you tell they and cut and paste from the FAQ how to sync. I've contacted them several times, but still haven't received the issue promised and continue to get the runaround. They are completely useless.

I have bought years of simply knitting via apple app. Each time simply knitting has changed their app I loose my magazines. Not worth the frustration.

You have to sign in with Gather which is only a pop-up window. Can’t get back to Simply Knitting .

I bought all the back issues over a week ago. So far I’ve managed to download three. Yes, three. In over a week. It sits there saying queued but doesn’t download. Really wish I hadn’t bothered and kept buying only the issues I wanted on my kindle app on my iPad. Quite a lot more expensive than the complete your collection option but least they actually download so I can use them.

I’ve had this magazine for a year and have yet to find anything I wanted to knit or even save. My other complaint is that I cannot unsubscribe. I’m guessing that will trigger a bill. Please, let me out of this.

I know you've probably heard this already and I hope you are in the process of fixing it but I have the latest update but when I open SimplyKnittingMagazine and try to purchase the newest magazine it keeps popping up saying I need the newest update. I loveeee your magazine and SimplyKnittingMagazine really makes it easier to get them. I look forward to receiving them. Please help fix this issue. Thanks for the help. :)

Since the last OS update, I can't download the latest issue, and I have a subscription. Completely unacceptable!

Why doesn’t my subscription show up on the day it’s supposed to? I have had to wait for days and often much longer before my digital copy arrives.

I love the articles. I love the tips and lessons. I love the patterns. The platform however used to be lacking and was clunky to use. The new platform is the best I have seen in a virtual platform. Simply Knitting is one of my favorite magazines. One of my favorites!

I only discovered Simply Knitting recently, but I took advantage of the opportunity to complete my collection, so I now have a number of years of issues. It's so much fun to read old issues! I love to read the letters and hope to knit several Alan Dart toys and donate them. SimplyKnittingMagazine is easy to use and really convenient.

I'm a subscriber and I went to look for the latest edition, the so indicated I should buy, I tried to and have the same problem as Cheezhead, it tells me I need to update I go to update and iTunes Store indicates I have the latest version of SimplyKnittingMagazine , thus it's an endless cycle and I can't read one of favorite knitting mags!! Fix this bug PLEASE!

I really can't fault this magazine or SimplyKnittingMagazine that goes along with it. I love knitting magazines and read many of them. The only thing I wish I could change would be to be able to print multiple pages to a pdf file so I could put the patterns into knit companion easily but that is a pretty minor criticism.

This is a wonderful magazine. However, all of the special editions that are available for purchase disappeared from all of my Pocketmag apps. I have quite a few, so this was quite devastating. I have made repeated requests for help, but get no answers, just the same information that is on the support site, such as to update to the new app (did that the day they were released) restore purchases (did that first), Sync (did that next, the tried restore again). After doing all of that to no avail I then started emailing support and am getting no help at all. Be warned and be sure you're cord every single purchase and keep up with which issues you have purchased because I have also lost access to some of my precious prescription purchases.
If someone will actually take me seriously and help me, I will remove this review and rating

The support team at Immediate Media are the best. I did have a problem with a previous version of SimplyKnittingMagazine , and they worked with me to fix it. They were very polite and knowledgeable. Thank you to S. Prince, M. Newing, and A. Ticehurst. Great job all of you, and SimplyKnittingMagazine works fine now.

This is a great resource for viewing new issues as soon as they're available. Previous issues are also right at your fingertips. Occasionally an issue won't download right away.

I love the easiness off SimplyKnittingMagazine . I like that I can tap on a highlighted image and it will take me to the related page, or that I have the ability to tap on a link and it takes me to that particular website.
